I can see where K makes the comment about Force Lightening, but it has sofew practical uses... I mean, okay, maybe it's useful for when your speeder, I MEAN, car brakes down and needs a jump, but how many times are you going to use it that doesn't involve electrocuting or shocking someone?
In all practicality, Telekinesis would be the most useful. Suddenly, nothing is out of reach, and the strength of your body doesn't matter. You could use telekinesis to move your body for you, if you wanted.
Force Heal is another one. Sure you can't solve major problems like death, but it has been used to cure major diseases. Imagine what wonders a Jedi Healer could do in curing the world of HIV.
Then there's good ol Dominate Mind. "I got an A on that test, Ms. Herman." "You owe me 40k, Mr. Foster." "I have the winning lottery ticket." "Get in my belly." The list goes on.
But, for pure fun of it, I want Force Comprehension. Imagine suddenly being able to understand anything and everyone. Germans? French? Zanzibarians? Alpha Centaurians? Fish?! Mitochondria?! I could sit down and talk with a tree all day. Imagine the things we'd learn this way.

Force Grip: (Telekenisis), because it is so useful! Not only is it the basis of Force Kill, it can also have NON violent and practical uses! Cops that can stop criminals from the station! We would no longer need gas guzzling heavy lifting vehicles! If anyone has ever seen the Force Unleashed trailer, then you know a strong person could stop a large vehicle, therefore, a skilled person could lead a squad of troops and stop bullets, catch RPG's out of the air and fire back at the enemy, or stop a nuclear missle mid flight and send it into orbit!
.........
Mind trick has some practical uses too.... and some fun ones.

I like force jump because it really comes in handy. Although, the lightsaber throw is cool too...

Force Choke and lighening are classics and they are awesome. But my favorate is a version of the mind trick called Force fear and the more advanced versions: Force horror and Force Insanity. Force Insanity is the best.

all powers pail in compairison to the siths force resuscetation(not sure if thats spelled correctly) and medichlorian control. the first one allows you to kill anyone instantly or ressurect people from the dead and instantly heal yourself as soon as your injured, look it up on wookieepedia if you dont believe its real. the second is the ability to create and destroy life using the force

Imagine the things we'd learn this way. i dont mean to down your favorite force powers but with telekinesis you still have to focus pretty hard to lift things that are bigger than you. force heal only heals injuries and not truly diseases. you could use force lightning for welding or working as an electrician. your right about dominate mind though.
