Emileigh smirked, then hurried off to do as Enid asked. Thank the gods... She thought as she rapidly searched for the ladder. I don't think Kit would ever forgive me if I went to that tree-topping ceremony without him... She grumbled. And I really wanted to go...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ((Yes, he is, isn't he?! *squeals*))
Loralei looked down on Alucard, a smirk forming on her face. "And here I was thinking that you were just happy to be here..."
"I..but..you people are weird! Hee!" Alucard laughed, "But if it has cookies and hot chocolate, I'm for it."
((........... sweatdrop Maybe his wife will calm him down. XDD))
Loralei looked down on Alucard, frowning. "If I'm so weird, then why do you hang out with me?" she grumbled, crossing her arms in front of her chest. Not only was she upset, but it was cold outside. Loralei frowned and continued to move as the line did.
"You're my friend and I like you, that's why I hang out with you," Alucard thought that Loralei was playing around.
((XD wink )
Loralei sighed. "Yes, well, if I'm 'weird' then, what's the point?" She grumbled. Standing outside in the cold in a line that was taking too long to move was making her irritable.
Loralei smiled, then ruffled his hair. "That's a good answer." She stood on her tippy-toes, trying to see what exactly was the hold-up. "I could've sworn that this line was shorter before..." She sighed.
"Why do we have to stand here? Can't we just go up there?" Alucard watched Loralei trying to get a better view of what was happening up ahead.
Loralei looked at the people milling about, and decided that it might be best. Otherwise, they'd miss the tree-topping ceremony, and that would be.. bad. She grinned.
"Well... I suppose it wouldn't be too bad to skip in line... just this once." Loralei added hastily, just so Alucard wouldn't get any ideas that this was normal behavior. She smiled. "Heheh..."
"Huh? You mean it's a bad thing to get ahead?" Alucard blinked.
"Not... exactly..." Loralei said haltingly. She grimaced. Big Alucard seemed to be rubbing off on her... butting in line. Loralei shook her head. There was a time before she met them that she wouldn't even have considered jumping in line, let alone doing it. "Come on, let's just go." Loralei said shortly, then dragged Alucard up to the front.
Loralei grumbled to herself as she dragged Alucard through the amazingly long line of people, getting stares and glares along the way. ((Hey, that rhymed! XDD))
Loralei paid them no heed, only jumped in front of a minimum of about twenty people. She sighed when she saw that they were next in line.
Loralei looked down at Alucard, then down at their locked hands. She realized that she must have been squeezing to tightly, and she loosened her grip. "Oh my... I'm sorry sweetie... of course I'm not mad at you! Why would I be?" Loralei looked to the vendor.
