Atem hit the puck toward Sam with descent power but on a good angle. He didn't aim for her goal just yet, he knew that wouldn't work. He had to get into the game, feel how Sam was playing and react to it. That's usually how he played most games. He glanced up to see Kaiba, but ignored him for the second. Seto never got along with Atem, as well as Yugi since they were of the same body.
Joey watched the two play. He heard the door open and looked over to see Seto. Joey instantly smiled, he noticed Seto wasn't pissed off anymore. "Hey, cooled off a bit I see? You wanna play a game or something there Kaiba?" Joey offered. Maybe if he was really nice and cool with him, they could get along.
"I promise. I wouldn't do that," Akiko said. The music came on and the game started. She didn't hear Seto come in, nor Joey greeting him. The music was too loud. She continued to play, missing a good ammount of arrows but hitting other once. The occasional "damn" crossed her lips when she missed, but it was in a comical matter.

Seto rolled his eyes at Joey. "Youre no challenge to me." He said arrogantly. He walked over behind Akiko and Yugi. He didnt like his sister and his girlfriend hanging out with these losers but it kept them busy so they wouldnt complain about him working so much like Sam and Mokuba used to. He'd never admit to it but it was a good excuse to be around Joey too. He looked back at Joey, now having to wait for Akiko to finish her game. "Well I do have some time to waste I guess, so pick a game mutt." he challenged.
Yugi was too focoused on the arrows and games to notice Kaiba come in. He was too worried about falling and looking like a fool. He tripped over his feet a few times but managed not to fall over. He continuously glanced at Akiko. "Youre pretty good." He said. He wasnt even paying attention to how well she was doing. he just wanted to compliment her.
Sam heard someone come in and then heard Joey say 'Kaiba'. She hit the puck back and then looked up smiling at her brother. "Hey Seto!" She greeted, happy to see he wasnt mad anymore. She frowned and sighed, hearing him start fighting with Joey already.

Joey growled at him? Sometimes he didn't even know why he wanted his friendship so badly. Before he could make a comeback, Seto already said yes. Joey smirked and made a challenging fist at him, "Just you watch Kaiba! I'll beat you in...... a fighting game!" He walked over to one and choose to be second player. He was ready for a challenge.
Atem saw Joey walk away. He felt a bit more relaxed now that it was just him and Sam. He smiled as he hit the puck back. Sam was good, very good. He had to be careful. He decided try something risky, he was going to pull it off as a friendly bet. "Sam, I have an idea. Why don't we bet on this game?" he said. He waited for her approval before he went on.
Akiko laughed, "Thanks!" She pulled up her pants a bit, not wanting to slip on the bottoms of her pants. She looked at Yugi's screen to see their scores. He was beating her, but she didn't mind. "Yay, I got a work out for today," she joked. She saw Yugi trip up from time to time, same as she was doing. Both of them were able to catch themselves. "I think it's coming to an end," she said.

Yugi's legs were getting a little tiered. "Yeah." He responded, out of breath. He tripped once more but he was too tiered to catch himself. He fell, right on Akiko, taking them both down, falling off of the game and onto the floor. Yugi landed on top of her. At first he didnt realize what happened until he looked down, seeing Akiko. His face turned beat red and he quickly scrambled off of her. "S-s-sorry!" he said quickly, sitting on the floor.
Sam rose an eyebrow curiously. "A bet?" She repeated before grinning. "Sure!" she answered, hitting the puck back. She felt a little excited, wondering what she could possibly win. "So whats the bet?" She asked.
Seto smirked. he was a master at video games. He owned all these games but he never had time to play them. He had gotten the high score at every game in the domino arcade though so he wasnt worried about losing. He walked over to the game, not noticing what happened to yugi and akiko. he got ready and hit the start button.

Akiko was getting tired herself. The next thing she knew she was knocked over and on the ground. She closed her eyes and mentally prepared herself for a landing. Opening her eyes, she saw Yugi on top of her. She blushed and froze. The landing wasn't that bad, but she wasn't feeling it right now. Her heart was palpitating, though she wasn't blaming the game for it. Yugi got off of her pretty quickly. She scooted up slowly. The only thing she could think of saying at that moment was, "Are you ok?"
Atem smirked a bit. "Alright, who ever wins gets to choose what they want," Atem started to say. "If I win, you'll let me take you out for ice cream," Atem said. He knew not too be too risky, ice cream was pretty innocent- right? "What do you want if you win?" he asked as he hit the puck back a bit harder. He acted completely cool during this.
Joey smiled and choose his character and prepare to fight him. They started round one, Joey was having difficulties from the start. Seto was good, very good. It probably didn't help that he wasn't that great at fighting games. But in his mind, he was good. He usually referred to using repetitive moves- Seto seemed to break through them though. Joey growled from time to time. He lost the first round. "You may have won the battle, but not the war!" he said slightly playfully but mainly as a challenge.

Seto smirked. He didnt respond. He let joey win the next round. He was very manipulative. He wanted Joey to get overconfident. He liked to make people think they could win so he could crush all their hopes when he beat them. But surprisingly he was feeling rather relaxed and havign a little fun with the blonde.
Sam thought it over. "You mean without the others?" She asked just to verify what he meant. She wasnt sure if she could do that. What if Joey got mad. No, he wouldnt. He trusts her and Atem. But could she trust herself? She hadnt been alone with Atem for a long time. She finally couldnt resist and she nodded. "Alright, but if I win... um... you have to..." She couldnt think of anything she wanted him to do that would be just friendly.
Yugi nodded, frowning, feeling guilty for knocking into her like that. "Are you ok?" He asked quickly after. If he had hurt her he would feel even worse. Was she mad at him? He looked away, now just noticing Seto and Joey playing a game.

"Yeah! Alright! What's a matter Kaiba? Losing your touch or something?" Joey mocked. This was fun, but he really wanted to win. Possibly to impress him? Did he need to? Was it to gain his approval? He did that a lot with most people. Did he want it more from Seto because he was going out with Sam? None-the-less this was fun. "Alright, last round Kaiba," Joey said, feeling good about them being tied. He really felt he could beat him.
Atem missed the puck and it went into hi goal. He smiled as he took it out to serve. "Yea, just me and you," Atem said. He was worried when she didn't reply right away and looked at her. He then heard the ok. A smile grew upon his face. But she didn't know what she wanted. "It can be anything you want," he said. He was being a bit tricky. If he won or lose, he would have to do something nice for Sam- that's how he looked at it. It was a win-win situation.
Akiko was sitting and stretching. "Oh I'm fine! I'm so used to falling and tripping since I'm such a clumsy," she said to reinsure him. She was just really shocked by the suddenness of it. She noticed that he looked away, was he upset. She joked with him to cheer him up, "Haha, have a nice trip? See you next fall?" She looked over to see what he was looking at. "Seto is here? Playing with Joey?" she said though it wasn't very enthusiastic. In fact, she felt it was a bit of a burden. She should go say hi to him, right? Was he still mad?

Seto started out slow, letting Joey get the upperhand at first before he completely destroyed him and won the game. "well it looks like I win mutt..." he said arrogantly with a smirk. "You didnt actually think you could beat me? How stupid." he said and turned around, locking eyes with Akiko. He kept his emotions sheilded away from everyone. "Hey." He said as if nothing had happened.
Yugi frowned. all her attention was on Kaiba again, why did he have to go and ruin everything? At least Yugi knew she wasnt mad at him but still he wanted her all to himself. He stood up and offered Akiko a hand.
Sam smiled. "Ok, if I win, you have to serenade me..." she said with a giggle. It may be a bit embarressing to him but she always wanted someone to sing romantically to her. She hit the puck after he hit it but soon it went in her goal.

"What!? How did you!?" Joey yelled out. He made a comical sad face, "But..., but I was doing so good....." Seto's comments didn't exactly help his ego. He followed Seto, for no reason. He new in the back of his head Seto would just insult him more. But he followed him anyway. "Well, well.... maybe I just let you win," Joey tried to play off that excuse.
Atem looked up at her and widened his eyes. Serenade? He didn't even sing in the shower. Could he even sing? Has he even sung? What would he sing? Atem gulped and chuckled to himself, so his idea slightly backfired. Even if he had to serenade- he could sneek in some lyrics that reflected his feelings. He just hoped Joey didn't have to hear it, or know about it. He smirked and said, "Ok, your on." He waited for her to serve the puck back.
Akiko took Yugi's hand, "Thanks!" she chirped. She looked at Seto, guess he was ok now. "Hey," she gave a small smile and looked him in the eyes. She didn't feel happy around Seto, rather she felt a want for happiness while around him. Sometimes these feelings could feel the same. As she looked him in the eyes, she questioned more and more about his feelings toward her. In truth, she was completely scrambled with thouggts. But she was a master at hiding it and bottling it away. But there was only so much somebody could bottle. "Were you playing a game?" she asked, then looked at Joey. She sweetdropped, "And did Joey lose?" she smiled as she closed her eyes.

Seto smirked. "Yeah right wheeler. You were trying your hardest. And you still lost..." He said, rubbing it in his face. He looked at Akiko again. "What did you expect?" He asked arrogantly. He glared at Yugi as he helped her up and he walked closer. "Want to play a game?" He asked Akiko, ignoring Yugi.
Sam smiled, picturing Atem singing to her, down on one knee and all. She laughed a little and hit the puck. Then she thought about his side of the bet. Why would him taking her to get ice cream be a prize? Maybe cause they hadnt done anything with just the two of them in a while?
Yugi smiled sympathetically at Joey. "Dont worry about it Joey, youre good at other games." He said, trying to cheer up his best friend. He wished Joey would have beaten Kaiba for once, then maybe he would stop pbsessing over trying to beat him. It was kind of like a pattern. Yugi and Yami always beat Kaiba. Kaiba obsessed about beating them. Kaiba always beat Joey but Joey desperately tries to beat Kaiba.

Akiko looked at Joey, "Why didn't you play ske ball? I've never seen you lose at that." She said it to reinssure him as well. She tried to look over Seto's arrogence, but she would show him. She crossed her arms with attitude but still cute. "Ok, but I get to choose. And I choose a fighting game," she said. Maybe it was a cheap shot, but she wanted to beat Seto. She was going to play to win, not to have fun which was her main reason for playing. Lucky for her, Seto's never seen her play.
Joey watched as the two walked over to the game. He stood next to Yugi. "I almost had him too, Yug. I was this close, this close!" he said slightly comical. He then crossed his arms and pouted a bit. He stopped and looked down at Yugi. "Hey, you ok? You look a bit out there," Joey asked his friend. Joey believed that Yugi gave up on trying to be friends with Kaiba, same with Atem. Actually, Atem never really tried.
Atem caught her laugh, which automatically made him laugh. "What's so funny?" he chuckled a bit. He tried to concentrate on the game, but he was more set on his prize. He wish he didn't have to keep it so friendly. He should of said he would have to give her a kiss. But he wasn't about to ruin their friendship, or his and Joey's friendship. He missed again and the puck went into his goal. "It's two to one, right? What do you want to play till?" he said as he served the puck.

haha, who should win now? I'm tempted to see a seranade, but ice cream would be cute. I'm not sure.]]

Sam couldnt help but to feel so excited around Atem. She never felt this with Joey. She cared about Joey but there was just something blocking their relationship from progressing.
Seto smirked, not taking her seriously at all. He thought he would just go easy on her but still win. He wouldnt totally destroy her like he liked to do to Joey. "Whatever you want." he said with a chuckle and a shrug, not caring what they play cause he assumed he would beat her at anything.
"Yeah, I'm fine!" Yugi said in fake cheerfullness to Joey, trying to not worry him. He glanced over at Kaiba and Akiko and frowned again. He had to remember to tell everyone to go to his house next time, Then Kaiba wouldnt be around. He couldnt help but get jealous just having Kaiba around, knowing he had the girl that he adored.

That made Atem laugh and miss the puck- resulting in a goal for Sam. "3 to 2, your not far behind me," he said. Atem couldn't imagine himself singing. The thought made him laugh and made him nervous. Nervous as if he had to impress her, to win her. He didn't scold himself this time- he just let it go. Besides, his confidence made him believe he wouldn't have to.
Akiko smiled, but with a bit of competition. "Let's start," she said as round one started. She held back at first- being defensive rather than attack. She was watching, waiting. How was he playing? Was he holding back. He beat her this round and she prepared for round two. He was good, but she did feel he was holding back. She didn't say anything, she wasn't much on insulting during a game, usually.
"I hope she kicks your butt, Kaiba," Joey said as they played. He made a face when she lost. "Geez Akiko, your supposed to attack him," he joked a bit. He looked back at Yugi, not quite getting how he felt. He didn't see that he liked Akiko, others could possibly see it- but Joey was dense. He looked over to see what Sam was doing- still playing air hockey. He brought his attention back to Seto and Akiko.

Sam looked at him, more determined than before. She just had to win. She wished these feelings didnt exist but she craved Atem. Even if he didnt really love her she could at least get him to sing to her if she won. "Well I'm gunna win." She said confidently with a grin.
Seto frowned. He supposed he could hold back a bit more. Had she ever played this game before? He glared at Yugi and Joey and then draped an arm over her shoulder casually. "I'll play with one hand how about that?" He said arrogantly with a smirk to give her an advantage.
Yugi's eyes widened slightly as Kaiba put his arm around her. He clenched his fists at his sides angrily. He had never seen Kaiba even touch her before. Well they had only been going out for three days but Yugi still would like to be blissfully unaware of any contact they might have.
