Fledglings haven't taken on a task yet, actually. They're still working on stuff like learning how to fly, and hanging out with a bunch of different Sentinel teachers so they can learn about what profession they might want to apply themselves towards. So your fledglings wouldn't be able to be a part of the troupe, per se.

Yah, as the troop just starts out it won't be able to afford crafters anyway. Our chicks will be able to be raised by the troupe a bit, but not join it untill adulthood. Probably for the better, no troupe would want to hire little kid-os. xd
But if Odd would like to help the troupe from time to time it would be much appreciated. ^_^ Maybe not full time, but I'm sure someowl will get injured at some time.
I'm going to close the poll now and submit the form. Looks like our name is the Brigadier's Bards. ^_^ I was wondering, though. Should we keep this thread for theater staff to talk about behind the scenes issues, like how the plays go, etc? Seems like a good idea to me, and much easier than pm-ing.
And once I get permission I'll set up a thread for the actual RP-ing. ^_^

I think keeping this thread open for members of the troupe to discuss stuff is a good idea, that way we won't have to pm everyone individually and stuff.
And a medic would be cool, I'm sure River's parus Chime might get a few scratches from time to time, he isn't the most intelligent creature ever. ninja

I suggest, for our first routine, some kind of comedy something!
With humor!
And jokes, possibly juggling!
and someone's extra mus has to get eaten as part of a dissapearing act, at some point.

Let me know if any of you would like to roleplay how they are asked to join, otherwise we'll just assume that Char or Birch asked them to join, or that they heard the rumors and offered their services.
What do you think about a grand opening this weekend or something? We could make some kind of coordinated effort to amuse then, and we'll get some time to come up with amusing things. Or do the rest of you want to start right away? I'll just jump in when I get a chance if that's the case.
Did Char know about the theatre all along or did the bards build it really quick? Ii kind of like the idea that the theatre was used by bards years ago and that the new group is doing their best to spruce it up again. Other thoughts?
More companions:
Echo: Birch's young Parus, annoying/amusing/disruptive agent.
Um... Yeeah Pearly... Maybe we can borrow one from Fletcher's army. Comedy sounds good too.

Er, I don't know. I want to see haw many Sentinals show up. Maybe just have all the staff entertaining Sentinals as they come in, no real coordinated effort.
I'd like to think Theater is old, and the new bards have just re-opened it. From before Brigaier's memory, golden age? Used for something else during war? Someting involving Mystics?I don't know, we may get a story line later.
But for now, juggle, sing, and act small parts for any and all Sentinals who fly through. ^_^ *can't wait to RP herself*

Hmmm... Tousled needs to be included in the staff list at the theatre.
I'm letting Birch tell a story in the theatre right now, I'll probably space it out over a few days but I know where I'm going with it, I promise smile
Anyone want to take over when Birch is done and sing/tell a story/amuse/dance/trip over their own talons?
I had something more to say, but I forgot what it was... Oh yes. I let Birch spread the word about the theatre when he was perforing during the longest night festival. So the current story telling takes place a day or so after the longest night.

I knew the end and had a vague idea of some things in between... It's fun to make up as you go as long as you have enough substance not to get lost on the way.
