A flowery-scented envelope arrives in the mail one day. It's a letter addressed to Finn!

The Letter

Hi, Finn!

You know what's fun? Making friends! I know you've got some, but I think you should make some more! Don't just wait for them to come up to you, go introduce yourself and find out some stuff about them! Like, what's their favorite color? Or their birthday? Or their name? Or if they have a dog?

Write to me and let me know what you find out, okay?

Alice snuck up to the house and left her gift at the door for Finnegan to find. Her mum had warned her that people were often busy at Christmas so it wouldn't be good to drop in unannouced.

She hadn't seen Finnegan since they had met at the library but she had enjoyed her time with him and decided she wanted to give him a Christmas gift.
