Nationstates is a website created by political theorist Max Barry. Everyone is in charge of their own nation, and decide what direction it takes. You don't build anything, you don't get to see your country, but you get reports of population, economy, civil rights, political rights, and how tasty your national animal is. It's highly a satirical simulation, but the GSCG has it's own region that...17 of us have joined. It's quite funny actually.

Citizens don't need compassion as long as they're well oppressed and give all their money to the government. ^^
Edit: And how dare my people not be the least compassionate.

Well, you can't really blame your people... See, mine are forced into the military to perform what most would call "unspeakable acts"... the compassionate ones disobey said orders, and wind up dead, from the ones that aren't compassionate. That and genetically engineering out compassion helps too. n_n

See, mine are forced into the military to perform what most would call "unspeakable acts"... the compassionate ones disobey said orders, and wind up dead, from the ones that aren't compassionate. That and genetically engineering out compassion helps too. n_n Ya, but my soldiers are genetically engineered and thrown into the military at birth. All the peoples food is toxic and they have no incomes. How can they have any compassion. D<

I just let them eat the civilian populace of whatever area they're forced to attack... maybe that has something to do with it?

D< Clearly all the oppressive government does is force the underspoken people to try and care for one another rolleyes We simply force them to believe that everyone can be whatever the hell they want to be, but on the condition that they stamp out anyone and everyone that gets in their way.
