Midori looked around. She could suddenly smell something burnt. She looked up, the smell oddly seemed to be stronger if she looked up. Hmm. She then spotted a hole in a tree. Could it be? She then, carefully, climbed up the tree. Once she made it, it was empty. All there were was a couple of burnt leaves. Maybe he was hiding out up here somewhere? It was a though.

Midori looked around all the branches. She didn't see his flame anywhere. He must be smarter then she thought. He had to have hidden it some how.. She then carefully began to walk upon the tree branches. Checking if he might be up around. Hiding from her some how. She continued to walk along, maybe she'd find him. Maybe not...

Midori kept wondering around the trees. Hmm, who would've thought for someone to make such a simple game, so, complicated? She hadn't noticed she had passed him, and she was so focused on sight, that she forgot to use her sense of smell. If she had focused more on that, she might have a better chance of finding him. Fire always had a distinctive smell. But she had just passed right on by.

"Whheeerrree arreee yyoouuu?" She said. Continuing to look around. And she thought she was actually going to get some where. With only focusing on sight, anyone could mess with her in this game. She thought to much of her hide and seek skillz.

Midori was looking about the trees when she heard a loud "Boo!" from behind her. She turned quickly, as she wasn't easily frightened. Well, when there was light outside anyway. She'd frighten easier if it were dark. And who else was it? Fang of course! But he had only revealed himself. I suppose this meant she had found him!

She wondered over to him quickly, with a smile on her face. Trying to be careful not to fall. It'd be bad if she did fall. "Look at this! I found you!" She said, he smile only getting wider.

Midori stared at Fang for a second, then nodded her head with a smile. It might be easier for Midori to hide, as she didn't have fire burning on her paw. But Fang was more put together for the game. Once she knew he was near her, she'd only start to giggle. She was just that way, getting overly excited in games and such. But she might be able to work on that.

Her smile widened, as she began to climb down the tree. "It's your turn to count. Once you start, I get to take off and hide." She said climbing down the tree. She didn't want to hide up in the trees this round. But then again, she wasn't the greatest hider in the world. But she tried. "Okay. Start whenever you want." She said, reaching the bottom of the tree.

Midori heard him start to count. She darted off deeper into the forest. The deeper she went, the less he'd be able to hear her. She kept running, watching her step, making sure she wouldn't fall. She kept an eye out for a good hiding spot. Also counting to herself, making sure she wouldn't run for to long. She'd have to hide eventually.

Once she thought she had ran long enough, and was almost out of time, she jumped into a pretty large bush. Not one of the greatest hiding spots, but it'd have to do. She made sure her tail was close to her, and put her paws on her ears. She didn't want to hear him coming, or she'd start to giggle. She didn't want to give herself away this time. Like she usually did.

Midori had closed her eyes by now. She didn't want to see anything unusual and start to giggle either. It seemed as if she were trying to hide from a big scary monster. But it was only Fang, he wasn't very scary. She opened her eyes a little, looking around. She didn't see anything unusual. So, she just closed them shut again.

This had probably been one of the most interesting games of hide and seek she had ever played. She never really tried to not giggle before. I suppose she just wanted to play up to how Fang did. He had done a pretty good job hiding. And now it was her turn, though. She didn't really think she did a very good job hiding. But at least she was trying not to giggle so she wouldn't give herself away. She liked playing with Fang, he seemed to make things a bit more interesting. Hmmm, wonder what they'd do after this.

Midori opened her eyes a little. All she could see were leaves of the bushes. She closed her eyes quickly, really trying to not give herself away. It wouldn't be very fun if she did. So, she stayed as she was for a bit. Not hearing anything, or seeing anything.

After some time passed, she decided to check things out. She opened her eyes a little and decided to peek out from behind her little bush. She looked around, a bit squinty eyed. She looked around, and didn't see him anywhere. I suppose he didn't get as far as she had ran. She looked around, one more time. She then peeked her head back down, closing her eyes again. She made a little noise with the leaves, but she didn't notice. She had still had her ears covered. She just might have given herself away after all.

Midori not know she had just, basically, given herself away, stayed in hiding. If she was smart she would've tried to hide in some other bush, without getting herself noticed. But she was to busy with her eyes and ears covered. Not very smart of her, but oh wells. What can you do, she is just a kit.

Midori started to smell a sudden burning of grass. He had to be close, but she didn't realize how close he was. Then she felt something tap her, she jump up. She could get easily scared if she didn't know what was going on. Not knowing she was being tapped by Fang, she ran out of the bush and straight into Fang. Not the first time she had ran into another kit before. She bounced right off him and back into the bush. "Owie." She said, rubbing her head. She still hadn't realized Fang had found her. She basically forgot after her little fright.
