Kila smiled at Tic Tac, he was such a sweet heart. The opposite of her gruff mate, though he took care of them when he was around. She could open her eyes clearly to see him and she nodded. "If you'd like." she set the red cub on the ground, instead of doing a mouth to mouth pass off which would have awoken the sleeping cub. She stirred slightly but her eyes didn't open. "Thanks." she whispered.
Tabansi smiled softly at Tic Tac, he had helped his mom through the transition so he had no problem with him.
Anu looked up as if he had heard a whisper. His ears flicked as the aroma of a female he had known fumed through his body. A hopeful smile appeared on his face as he looked in her direction. "Lithium?" his eyes seemed to brighten as he started walking towards her hoping it was alright with her. However he stopped a few paces away, before going into his most graceful bow...just for her.

"Mmmmm." He let out a bit of a purr and gently lifted the cub up with his mouth, and lifted her off of the ground. He always wanted to be part of a family as soon as he got to the pridelands, he was thinking about leaving until he met Kila. He looked over to Kila's son and gave a slight nod and looked back at the king.

Santos chuckled at the exhausted cub, turning in the direction he'd come while responding, "Yes, we have plenty of room in the den. She should be rather comfortable there." He nodded as he started off, leading them towards the heart of the pride, where most of the lions congregated and spent their spare time. He noticed Anu as he walked off, but wasn't so worried about him. They'd had their rough patches but Santos was starting off on a new foot. There would be no more trifles with this family.
Razi turned his own head as he heard the voices, but he was completely relaxed. "That's Lady Tequila and her family. Dad's taken a new turn with her family and they're joining our ranks. Should prove interesting. They appear to be a decent bunch." He watched them approach, a lazy smile on his face. He had quite a bit of respect for Kila, as she's had so much strength to keep her family together and under control.
Amarantha followed after her father, but fell back a little to walk next to Tabansi. "Hi." She said quietly. She glanced at him, then forward again, trying to think of something less awkward to say. "Daddy didn't introduce me, but I'm Amarantha."
Arsenic purred as Kerryn stirred and pressed his nose to her cheek, realizing that he was still curled around her. He still hadn't gotten to her sleeping in, but it was nice; not to mention a perfect reminder of what was to come. His father still didn't know, but perhaps today would be the day that they announced it.

'Oh great, one meeting wasn't enough, he had to come live here too. Joy... Now it's not going to be just a week of futile musings, it's going to be for the rest of our lives...'
Actinium's words were falling on mute ears though, as Nitrogen was entertainning herself paying heed to Lithium's actions, and Lithium herself, well, was trying to figure out what to do, as he came towards her and bowed. For some it was a kingdom for a horse, to her it was a kingdom for a hole... "Ah! P-please, you didn't have to..." she fidgeted, tracing circles on the ground with one of her paws. Shyly, Lithium lifted her eyes to the majestic black male, smilling softly. "I was wondering when you and your family would come..."
Kerryn grumbled incoherently as a ray of light hit her eyes, burying her head on Arsenic's mane. "What's all the noise outside?" was the only understandable grumble that wasn't too muffled by the dense fur, before she roled out and pried her eyes open despite the annoying light, catching the colorful bunch being lead by Santos. "Does that mean I have to get straight?" Kerryn was a dawn lioness, not a morning one...

Arsenic chuckled and shrugged. "You can hide out if you'd like, but I do have to go meet them. The joys of being a prince." He groaned, nuzzling her once more before standing and shaking out his mane. "But it would be nice to have a lovely lady by my side," he winked at her.

Kila smiled as she followed Tic Tac and Santos towards the den. She hoped their would be a sunning rock where she could take a cat nap, or if it was going to be too long then perhaps a tree in the shade. She didn't like sleeping in dens unless it was night and they built up heat. Partially due to her past, being trapped inside a den in a flooded season was not her thing. Though it wasn't flooding season she would still like to avoid it. The female managed to smile, no matter how tired she was, to all of those whom her eyes met.
Anu looked suprised, "Really?" he smiled softly. "If I knew you were waiting I might've gone faster." he smirked. "Though we only traveled as fast as Daiquiri could go and how long my mother, when she carried her." His ears perked up slightly, "It's good to see you again."
Tabansi too was getting intrigued with this new place. "Amarantha?" he questioned. "A beautiful name for a beautiful lioness, I'm sure." he smiled softly. "It's a pleasure to be living in your pride, now these days...it seems more stable then what we had before." he tried as well not to make it an awkward silence so he attempted for conversation.

Please stab my heart...
Santos began to climb the mountain-like rock towards the middle where his platform and the den was. He looked behind him as he did so with an apologetic look. "Sorry about the climb, it must be horrible on your travel-worn paws. I find it to be the safest place though." He reached the den with little effort and led them into the large, dim den.
Amarantha nodded with a giggle at his compliment. "Yeah, the pride is rather stable, though we've had our fair share of drama. Everything is getting better as our members settle down with families." She glanced at him again, this time keeping her eyes on him for a while longer. "There will be cubs soon, I'm sure of it. They'll be so cute!"
...The time has come for me

Tabansi looked to the female with a slightly apologetic look. "I know how drama goes...my mom and my father had rough spots, i think this one just finished it off. He just never came back, and she was lonely." he looked in the clearing for a moment to think. "She's the type that needs a shoulder to lean on, its not really an option for her." he nodded. "Though she can carry herself well in time of need. She just has her times when she gets desperate. Like us all." he replied. "Cubs? I've always wondered how I'd be as a father.' he added. He smiled, "Cubs are the new beginning as they say.'

She frowned at his words about his mother and father's relationship. "That's horrible. I don't think Daddy would ever do that, he seems to always be around." She shook her head, but her expressioned turned light again. "I'm sure you'd make a wonderful father, you seem really kind and gentle. That's a beautiful way to put it..."

Tic Tac smiled the best he could with the cub in his mouth. "Its fine." He said slightly muffled. He let out a small purr as he fell back a bit next to Kila. "Just let me know where you want to rest." His words slightly hard to make out. He lifted his head more because the cubs feet were about to touch the ground, he did not want to wake her up.

Bardhyl forever lurked the borders of his love's pride, wanting badly to be there with Zoe, but also having enough presence of mind to not want to piss off her brother any more than he had to. He honestly hadn't known he could get her pregnant, nor had he even KNOWN of her pregnancy when he went to meet him for the first time...visibly at least. He had done alot of watching in ghost form, waiting for his love to appear after he'd grown, not caring if she was a cub or not, he merely had wanted to be with her. She completed him, made him feel 'alive' again, even if only in semblence of memory. From a distance he deemed safe (not that Santos could truly chase him away or anything, not to mention kill him) and respectable, he watched the new members join the pride, in full view of all. He wanted Santos to get the message that no matter what, he loved his sister and wouldn't abandon her no matter how hard he made this...and at the same time he wanted him to know he wouldn't do anything against the pride's rules in respect to him as well. Still as a statue, he felt a pang of jealousy as the others received the permission he so badly longed for...
Yukio lay awake beside his son, Kama, who was still sleeping quite peacefully and unaware of the possible drama that might happen. Yukio was a bit uncomfortable that Anu and his family was to be joining the pride, but not because of who they were, but their past with the pride, and more especially his love. He had no fear that Daveigh didn't love him, but did fear her being tempted to leave him for Anu...he had been her first mate after all. Sighing, he placed his head on his paws and tried to think things through, ad the only decision coming to mind was just to face that bridge if it ever came to that. Until then, he would respect Santos's decision and treat them with respect that all lion's deserved. However, until he knew how this would affect Davey, he would never be truly comfortable. Nuzzling his boy softly, picking some grass from his mane, Yukio got up and walked to the den entrance where he met his mother.
Naida had been up for awhile, but it wasn't until Santos had left that she had taken her customary place to one side of the den. She had alot to think over, having had 9 cubs and now grandchildren? So many lions...they made her smile in happiness to think of her family. The sound of reluctant paws brought her from her reverie, and she glanced towards the den to see Yukio appearing. She purred to him, but knew no words were needed...not to find out what was wrong, as Yukio had been restless since finding out Santos's invitation to Anu and his family. Instead, she merely watched as he fell by her side, and curled up next to her like the cub he would always be to her. She licked the top of his head lovingly and comforting him as much as only a mother can in difficult times.
Soda was paddling around in the water nearby, getting in her morning swim, occasionally poking her head up above water to see if the new lions had arrived yet. Seeing no one different, she dived back down below the water....

Santos bowed his head slightly. "I'll let you decide where you'd like to rest. The den is completely open to you, though my Queen and I sleep in the very back chamber. If you'd prefer you could sleep outside by the entrance of the den in the sun, as well." He montioned back towards the entrance. "I'll leave you be now, we'll discuss rankings and get you introduced to every member later on."
With that he left the den and walked out the the edge of the platform, where he could see all of the pride. When he looked to the boarders his lips pressed in a thin, unimpressed line and he lefted his head ever so slightly higher. A statue-like Bardhyl at his boarders. He would not grant him entrance

Tabansi blushed, "Thank you." he replied. He didn't know others thought he would be a good father, he wondered if he'd be. "I hope I am not being to personal, but as beautiful as you are may I assume you have a mate?" he questioned in a softer tone. It would be such a disappointment for him to find out that she was taken. He had been attracted to her, but he wasn't sure if he would want to make a move.
Kila smiled softly as she treadded up to the main den. "Here is fine." she replied at the mouth of the den, where it was shaded." She curled herself in a tight ball and motioned for Tic Tac to lay by her. Her eyes were hopeful, she had news for him.

Amarantha smiled just slightly when he asked if she were taken. She'd always dreamed of being swept off her feet by the perfect prince, though so far it hadn't quite happened. "No, I'm afraid no male has shown any true interest in me." She replied quietly, the smile fading.

Tabansi's smile faded as well. "I had a mate, she left though...I don't know where. So I can see where my mother comes from when my father left." he shrugged. "All things happen for a reason, in my belief." He rose his brow. "Then perhaps those males mistook your beauty with their own arrogance." he smiled hoping it would make her feel better.
