Kanna's eyes snapped open immediately since that thought hadn't occurred to her. It might have explained a few things about her behavior... but then still... She looked inward, meditating over her body and finally came to a conclusion.
The Yajuu girl looked up at her mate with tears in her eyes. "I think I am..." she whispered happily.

Shukoshu softly stroked her stomach. "It's only a guess, though. Judging from your symptoms and well...your body's current state." He was talking about the 'examination' his tendrils gave her.

Kanna wrapped her arms around Shukoshu's neck and buried her face in his chest, crying happily. "Finally. Oh I'm so happy... We should tell everyone. Do you think we could have a party now?" She began kissing down her mates neck.

"He looks to be an easy target, but not one without a few tricks. And I know that he is on the Inuzuka clan, the clan that hails from Konohagakure and uses canines with their techniques."
Shukoshu smiled softly pet his mate. "Not just yet. We still have a bit of battling to do, my sweet. And news like that could be detrimental to our cause in our current situation."

Kanna growled but understood the reasoning so she curled up into Shukoshu. "Stupid proctors might try and get rid of me." she muttered. "I can't allow that. Not before coming up to be beside you in strength."

Haru sat near the center of the group, so she could listen to and observe the others from all sides. Some bit of slipped information may give her an edge in battle.

Shukoshu nuzzled her softly. "And if any ANBU figure it out, they might leak it back to Orochimaru. And if Orochimaru found out a Yajuu had pups, he might want one for study." He continued to pet her. "It seems Orochimaru isn't only interested in little boys." He remarked while holding back a laugh. "Kanna-Chan, do you plan on using that gift he gave you?"

Kanna cuddled into her mate. "No... It's a very nasty thing.... I've only used it once and it's strange... so bitter but it makes me all tingly." She purred softly as she nuzzled Shukoshu tenderly. "I won't let the snake man have any of my pups."

Shukoshu smiled softly while nuzzling her. "I want to use mine. It looks like fun." He combed his fingers through her hair. "I wonder if Orochimaru will try at least. He sent that Kaguya boy after you. But no one for me." He laughed slightly and pretended to wipe a fake tear away. "I guess I am not that interesting."

Kanna smiled and nuzzled her mate affectionately. "That's because the snake man knew that if he'd sent someone against you they'd have been dead. I just ended up taking a chunk out of the boys shoulder." Kanna wiggled and sat up more within her mates robes, hugging him tightly. "You are interesting. You are fascinating. You are so very strong." She kissed along Shukoshu's lips affectionately. "And I would carry nobody else's pups but yours."
