Seth hugged Tama back. Then he wondered what was coming next. Would they continue their walk or sit and talk? "So, what shall we do now?" he asked, smiling.

Tama paused before glancing apprehensively at the pond. She never had gotten around to learning how to swim . . . "Let's keep walking," she said, dropping the mime act. The pond was making her nervous, even though she wasn't even that close to it. Strange, that . . .

Seth saw Tama glance uneasily at the pond and wondered why see was so nervous about it. Maybe she still didn't know how to swim? Seth thought that she ought to learn how, but maybe not tonight. It's too cold for it anyhow. "Alright," he said, beginning to resume the walk.

Tama relaxed as they walked further away from the pond. The scenery was quite beautiful, even with the certain barreness winter bestowed. She didn't say anything, content to just enjoy this time with Seth.

Seth smiled as they walked on and Tama seemed to calm down. He was glad that she wasn't so tense anymore, and it relaxed him some as well. He looked around at the scenery. The trees had lost almost all of their leaves, and the ones that had fallen to the ground were turning brown. It still looked nice though, and he wondered what it would look like when the trees got a nice coat of snow. It was too warm to snow right now, but maybe Jack Frost will pay a visit in a week or so to cover Namiah in a small blanket of snow.
(I miss snow...)

Tama glanced at the scenery as they walked past. It was beautiful, with the tall trees imbuing a rather . . . majestic sense to the forest. It just looked too open, and yet cluttered at the same time. She frowned, trying to sort it out. After a moment, she had it: it hadn't snowed yet. She turned to look up at the sky. Plenty of cloud cover, but it wasn't heavy enough yet. A few hours, maybe . . . She engaged in an immature impulse and stuck her tongue out at the sky. Unfortunately, she hadn't been watching where she was going, which ended up being straight into a tree. "Ow . . ."

(Awwww....cute!)
Seth was pretty wrapped up in thought when he heard Tama say ow. His mind was instantly brought back to reality and he looked over to see that Tama had apparently walked herself straight into a tree. "Are you alright?" he asked, not really thinking that she was all that hurt but sure she was a least a little embarrassed.

Tama backed up a bit, rubbing her forehead. It didn't exactly hurt as surprise her . . . Stupid tree. She blushed as she heard Seth's question. "Yeah . . . You saw?"

Seth shook his head. "I didn't see, I inferred," he answered. "You said 'ow', I looked over, and you were in front of a tree, so I just guessed at what happened." He nodded at the end of his explaination.

She blushed harder. "Okay, then." It wasn't as embarassing as if he'd actually seen, but still . . . "I was . . . thinking . . . and wasn't looking where I was going," she stammered. No way was she going to admit to the events leading up to the walking into the tree . . .

Seth shrugged. "No big deal. Probably happens all the time." Or at least that's what he thought. Television certainly always tries to make it something comical, but Seth really never got it. What was so funny about someone being distracted and walking into something? Maybe he was in the minority.

Tama smiled tentatively before she murmered, "Less often than you might think." It was the first time she'd done so, at least that she could remember. There was a bit of a blank spot in her memory . . . She frowned, not liking the confusion. "Let's keep walking," she suggested, starting in a random direction.

Nodding, Seth followed Tama, wondering why she had frowned for a moment. He decided not to worry too much about it, as it was probably nothing major.

Tama kept walking for a few minutes, just enjoying the quiet and Seth's company. Eventually she slowed, noticing that the scenery was getting very familiar. "Did we . . . double back?" she asked, confused, looking back the way they came and forward again. Odd . . . But she had been a tad upset and not really paying attention to where she was going . . .

"I think we did," replied Seth, noticing the familiarity of the forest. "Should we turn back and head the way we were going before?" It really didn't matter to him whether they doubled back or if they continued deeper into the forest. There was always opportunity for new sights no matter which way they headed.
