"Also, once I'm fully done my training I will be able to summon this one thing I've been trying to teach myself to summon, and I'll be able to hit two fireballs on you in one turn. Each fireball with have a higher damage amount then the ones I threw at you before." Perrian said and smiled. He took another bite of his food.

*Djanni smiles and listens to the other two banter, her gaze distant. In truth, the stew could use a touch of curry but is otherwise excellent. It makes her hunger for her own mother's cooking, something she has not tasted in some time, nor will she ever taste again. She stares at the stew in the bowl, a lone tear rolling down her cheek to splash in the stew. She brushes its remanants away with a quick flick of her hand. No need to get so emotional. But the tears are better than the Fire, so she does not begrudge them all that much.*

Perrian looks at Djanni and sees a tear run down her face. "Djanni, are you ok?"

Vincent looks troubled by Djanni's mood. His sword, ever-fused to his body, pulses in recognition to something within her. Curious, but focused, Vincent ignores the sword's pulsations. "Djanni, is there something wrong?" Vincent puts a comforting hand on her shoulder to comfort her...words seem to backfire on him at times like these so he chooses not to speak.
((By the way, sorry it took so long to post. I had some horrible extra duty today, and I've been up since 2:30 am doing my CQ shift and random tasks for the drill seargents.))

*Djanni jerks, surprised by Vincent's touch. The Fire stirs in sudden interest, and the point where his hand makes contact with her shoulder is suddenly alive with its mischief. It seems almost...happy. It frightens her, how eager the Fire is to get to this man and the power it senses within him. This sudden behavior is new for it, and does not bode well. Djanni looks up at her erstwhile host, and gives him a slight smile, trying to ignore the Fire's glee. The Fire laughs within her*
"It...it is nothing, only that this meal is so very good...it is a taste of home, and that is a rare thing indeed."

Vincent looks unconvinced, but smiles none-the-less. "Well, I hope that is all," he gives another mischeavious smile, "food is supposed to make everything better." He lets go of her shoulder, ignoring the burning, tingling in his hand. Just my imagination he thinks to himself.

*Djanni smiles*
"Yes, that it does."
*she settles more comfortably and finishes her stew.*
"Tell me, for this tastes much of my homeland, from whence did you come?"
((oh, btw don't worry about not being on much. I know both you and Fargore have a LOT to do. I'm military brat, so I know the drill - no pun intended.))

"Me? Well, I come from the distant land of the Kingdom of the Emerald Hills. Beautiful place...lovable neighbors, a kind and fair ruler, and fields upon fields of beautiful grasses and flowers of all kinds." Vincent looks to them both, "I think, one day, I'll take you both there. I'm sure you will enjoy the beauty of the place, Djanni. And Master Perrian here would get along fabulously with the local wizarding school. So...Djanni, Perrian... where are you from?"
((Oh, and veryfunny. I do enjoy the Drill Seargent crack, though...also, Perrian I love what you've done with your avatar. Very good job!))

With a loud thud and a creek from the front door, a small figure walked in. The small gnomish man stuck out his finger and pointed at Vincent.
"You have challenged me and I will accept! Where do you favor this battle takes place!"
He said with a heavy huff.

"......Dear me, with all of tonight's dealings I'd almost forgot... sweatdrop Sorry about that!" Vincent stands from the table, ignoring the aroma of his meal for a more...entertaining practice. "The grounds around my abode should do nicely for some combat. After you..." He holds his hand toward the empty grounds. A nighttime brawl...should be fun he muses.
((Just post your stats and we can begin.))

*Djanni stands as she watches the others go out. Smiling after her host, she repays his kindness by washing the bowls from the meal. Carefully she sets them aside and considers.*
"I think I shall take you up on your offer to see your homeland someday," she says to herself. "After I have rescued my sister; I will need a time of peace, when the Fire can finally be quiet."
*Djanni pulls a dagger from its sheath and cuts off a chunk of her own hair. Swiftly, she twists it into a ring and leaves it by the hearth, a physical token of her promise to her new friends. Then, she slips away into the night to seek a place to rest for the evening.*

Vincent excepts the blow head on, confident in his ability to survive. But as soon as the white-hot flames lick at his flesh, the sword violently reacts. Vincent barely registers the movement as he raises his arm toward Gerbo. Giving all his effort into lowering the power billowing within him, his arm bursts open. Blood pours from the wounds as the spectral energy of Vincent's life force pours from the wound and fires at Gerbo. Vincent lets out a terrible scream and falls to his knees, "WH...WHAT IS THIS?!!"
Action: Blood Burn (Sacrifice 10hp to deal 20 damage to Gerbo)
AP: 0 HP: 9hp
Vincent looks to see that Gerbo is indeed alive, albeit knocked unconcious. Ignoring his grievously wounded arm Vincent runs forward to move Gerbo inside and treat his wounds. What have I done...No...What did this cursed blade do?
((Okay, I'm new to the guild. Was that a little much? Or was that just good role play, honestly?))
