Thinking for a while, Liam looked at the group. "Yes, that's a thought...I mean, for now we'd better stay together, but if we come upon a village or something like that, we'd draw suspicions, like you said before." Looking around, he then remembered something "But are all of us sure of our abilities? Maybe we should try and test them for a while..."

People were still looking pretty confused. Closing his eyes, he tried to focus. A dark feeling played around his mind, and he tried to grab it. Focusing his new found energy, he felt a cold tingle on his right hand and looked at it. A dark orb of shadow surrounded it. "Cool!" He smiled brightly, finding he could expand it and play it around. "This should come in handy for those who can't stand the sun..."

Anne snorted. She didn't like the sound of that idea. "I don't think we should fall apart. Of course, maybe a scouting team could be assigned to enter towns discreetly, but I think the closer together we are, the stronger and safer we'll be. If this is real, we are in an unknown place with no idea of what surrounds us...Maybe we should start on our way to the river, and if it becomes necessary for us to split, we'll think about it then." She looked wearily at the others.

The purple-eyed boy was playing with a ball of shadows, and she started to wonder what were her abilities all about. Holding up her hands, she remembered the sense of heat and tried to bring it back to her. Slowly, they began to shine, and finally the started to...burn? She stared at her flaming hands, stunned. The feeling was warm and pleasant, like the fire was a part of her. She felt nervous and a bit scared, but yet strangely thrilled. With eyes ablaze, she gazed at the fire as it spread through her skin, then receded at her silent command.

Kiyoko wandered closer to where she could now here voices. She was behind a tree and was surprised to see what lay before her; a bunch of mythical, mysterious creatures, with some sort of human aspect about them. She also overheard what the mermaid said; so she wasn't alone; they were all just as confused....

As she stepped foward, she felt herself trip. She was on the top of the sloping forest...

Bump bump bump....duh-dum.

She could feel herself falling down the hill again, until she hit the bottom and all the creatures were staring at her. But however, she had somehow landed on her feet, instead of falling like usual. Well, looks like cats really DO always land on their feet. she thought to herself. But, that would mean I'm really part cat....but it's a dream right? I'm in a coma and at the hospital from teh fall, and this is result of late-night video games...
"U-uh, I don't mean to intrude...." she said quietly, as she stared about, her face now a cherry red. She looked so odd; a little kitty girl with a giant staff twice her size and a tiny panda, whose use she had yet to figure out. "..but, mabye we should figure out how we all got here first. That would help to see if this is an accident or not." she paused. "For example, I fell off the top of a stepladder while working at a toy store. I felt like I was floating, and the huge impact never happened until much later. Then, I ended up in that clearing behind those trees." she answered, pointing to where she was beffore, only feet from them. "I really don't look like this at all in real life, and I ended up with a bear doll and a very large...shiny staff." she ended, knowing she was sounding ridiculous. She was still red in the face, half scared of these people and hiding behind the staff, in a way. She didn't know who, or what they were, and if they wanted to harm her.

Liam laughed as the small girl stumbled down from the cliff. Enlarging the shadow ball so it would involve him and keep him safe from the sun, which took him a bit more energy than he expected, he walked up to her and gazed at her from head to toe.
"And I'd give anything to have my camera right now." He stated absent-mindedly to the taller girl, not taking his eyes from the doll, appretiating every detail of her intricate clothing. "I was standing on a treebranch trying to take a photo when I fell and landed here. But the Ghost already said something about that, right? That we were all drawn from Earth or whatever it was..."


"And I was walking back home after a college day when I tripped..and the rest is the same old news." She sighed "I fail to understand how can we figure out what happened or do anything about it standing here, doing nothing..." The girl had always been short-tempered, but now there was more. She felt full of energy, like she couldn't wait or stand for long. She felt...fiery.

((we should meet up with someone/something evil soon...just to keep the group on it's toes...xD))

Star noticed the boy's light behavior, and the want for his camera. Matched her bright attitude right now as well. Maybe they could be the group happy people. Star heard the other girl's comment. "Okay. You need to chill. Like, seriously." Star said, turning to her. "It might help us figure out what happened if we know what happened to each of us."

Namine looked at the group sadly. "My we seem like bumbling children just learning how to walk." Now that she noticed most of the group was comprised of chidren. Her protective instinct kicked in. To think that chidren were part of something that could turn out to be dangerous. Namine frowned, she did not look much older than any of them but even so...she began to think how she should watch out for each of them. "Im so not cut out for this. I could be in my gallery greeting customers." Namine was beginning to feel uncomfortable just standing there and she wished to be soaking in some water. Suddenly water from the pool where she had soaked rose up and surrounded her. It first encased her in a bubble..then her body absorbed it slowly. Funny thing was that her clothes were dry and the only indication was the sight moisture on her skin. "Hmm..this gets more interesting by the minute."

Namine looked at Anne. "No problem..theres a river nearby just past the small pool of water. Seems it rained here recently and the river ran over its place causing the small pool I took a dip in." Namine looked around at the rest. "Well we all know the deal. Stick close and pay attention. Most of all do not wander off. It would be a pain to have to form a rescue party so early in our inception." Namine pointed her trident in the direction where they were headed. "Well shall we go?" She waited for the group to move.

Timmy looked wide eyed as people messed around with their new-found abilities. The schooling part of him noticed something odd and he spoke up. "Hey... did anybody notice that we're all speaking the same? I mean, we can all understand eachother, but it's pretty obvious we come from different places in the world." He shrugged. "You know, just saying, it's a little cool. I'm pretty sure I'm speaking Chinese."

As he shrugged, he noticed an odd weight on his back. He reached a hand back and fingered the blade that was back there. He easily lifted it up and over so he could see it. It was a long halberd, the staff part yellow and brown, with the blade part sweeping over where he held his hands on it. The top of the blade reached just above his head. For a weapon designed for killing, it was quite beautiful. He lifted it. Either it was really light or he was stronger in this world, because he easily held it in one hand. He reached over his shoulder and felt a second halberd of the same design. "Cool..." he said under his breath. He secured the first halberd so the two made an 'X' on his back.
Now he barely noticed their weight. He looked back to the group, glad to have someone else giving the instructions.

(( We gotta split up into groups, and soon. This is getting too confusing. ))

Rose had been helping Nikol and she only heard parts of the conversation. "I fell over a two story railing..." She pulled Nikol up and reshouldered the coffin. "As for powers..." She looked back at the thing on her back. "I don't think I want to know mine just yet..."

"I fell down the stairs..." Nikol mumbled. Hearing powers, she thought of what hers would be. Then out of no where, she was able to see again. Though everything seemed blinding she could hardly see anything but Rose. She lifted herself a few feet off the floor with her wings and hardly noticed it.
