FINALLY someone notices that. xd I used a combo of MS paint and Paintshop. I figured out what "soften" does. Thats how I got the blurs for the shading.

Thanks Saga. sweatdrop That means alot coming from one of the "masters"

Tip asking of the month: How you ya'll get smooth lines and not lines looking like those from MS paint?

heress what i do. make a rough routline in paint usin black or bright blue, soemthing distinguishable. then make a single colour inside the shape. use solid block colours to shade inside, then take it to photoshop or whatever, and blur the lines togeth, but run down them verticaly if the line is vertical. if your not wanting any lines, you just take a darker shade of a colour of the garment, and go over your original outline.

and well-a, yoru done. now repeast a thousand time, and bake for a few years, and you got your self a picaso xd

..........but I don't want picaso, I WANT SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN. scream

I tried the blur on Paintshop, and it made me feel like I didn't have my contacts in. Thats how blurry it can out. eek but I'll give it a try. I can't go wrong as long as I don't save the bloody thing.

mmm... i love chinese food heart

if u keep importing ur work into paintshop, y not just try makin ur edits solely using that? also, with ur blur tool, try playing with its settings if u can. it could control how much of a blur u get. or i could b way way off since i dont use that particular program.. if thats the case, please disregard all ive said.

all but the part about me lovin chinese food that is sweatdrop
PostPosted: Fri Jan 21, 2005 10:25 am

I would, but Paintshop doesn't have a curve line tool.

yeah, your blur brush could be a weird size or shape, or your blur strength could be extremly high.

but i use paint, and import it to Photohop for effects, so i may be wrong..

I need to draw Enishi's Watou. I suck on thin beams. Seemed like several people like my rusted buster sword.

Like the other two....I need to draw the Kodachi's when I get a chance. This is the first one I drew one piece at a time instead of drawing as I go along.
