Vampire Kurix Personally, I never have read the book nor seen the movie. I am currently reading Anne Rice's book, "Interview With The Vampire." Very excellent book, I must say. Louis is an absolute compassionist with the humans. At first, all he did was kill animals for blood. He really did cling to his human nature. But, after that one girl, no, not Claudia... but Babette, the landowner. On a very embarassing note, with the first scene in Armand's theater, I kinda got an erection reading about that young girl getting stripped down to the nude, then getting fed on.... redface It left me with dirty thoughts the entire school day, and a lump in my jeans. Yes... very sick to type, and I apologize to all. But, I just had to share that. On a bit of a side note, other than romance novels, has any other person gotten turned on while reading a book? You don't truly have to answer. I'm just curious... and weird. sweatdrop If you do answer, though... heart 3nodding xd biggrin cool I love the books and enjoyed the movies. I do think the books are better because you get more out of a book. But to answer your question.....yeah.... redface

I hated that movie. There should be laws against things being that stupid.what are you talking about that movie was awsome and lestat is so hot heart He's hot, yeah. But the acting was sooo bad, the script was shocking... even the storyline was ridiculous. They just butchered the book. The only good thing about it was the breif cameo by Jon Davis.Seconded. If you've read the book, you cannot but hate the movie. I third it...I've read the book as well...what really scared me about the movie...was that Armand...was....BLONDE....

I agree. I am almost finished with the book. So far it is great. But, when i compare it to the movie that i have seen so many times, the book is better a million times over. Then again, i think "book-lovers" will be drawn to books over movies most of the time.

Like all of her books, Queen of the Damned is quite atestimony to the talent of Anne Rice. Unfortunately, I felt that the movie was pale in comparison (no pun intended).

I've never read the book, my mom has. Note to self: take mom's book and read it But I didn't think the movie was that bad. What I loved about it was the soundtrack and that Lestat was so hot. ( ^_^ )

I loved that poem and I thought it synched really well with the chapter it preceded (Daniel, the Devil's Minion, or the Boy from Interview with the Vampire) but I found some of the other poems in the book rather tedious. I haven't seen the movie, fortunately it would seem.
