Though Intombi did want to make it clear that she didn't mind Habu unloading on her, she didn't want to argue the point either, and this had potential to turn into one of those 'no it's okay' type arguements. So, she just smiled and nodded, and added in one last part. "Well, okay. If you need to talk about anything every once and a while, though, I'm here for you. And I'm sure if I need it, you're there for me, too." Of that last part, she was absolutely positive. Habu had been the one she had talked to about moving here, which was probably the biggest decision of her life thus far. If he could help her with something that important, he could help her with anything.
Intombi, with her somewhat niave nature, didn't even make a connection to awkward this time. The cubs slip up had done it, but not cave sharing. "Oh, could I?" She lightened up significantly, looking around the cave with a new light. It could use a little sprucing, but it would do just fine. "I won't be any trouble or anything, I promise. I'll just... I'll help you hunt, that's what I'll do." Since she was just starting to join hunting parties for the pride, anyway, she could easily help Habu hunt down little snacks in return for a place to sleep for a while. "And I'll try to find a new cave fast?"

This wasn't the first time Habu realized just how good a friend Intombi was, and how nice it was to have someone around more than just the once. They'd only really seen each other a couple times now, but their meetings had been interesting, and full of.. interesting conversations. She was definitely someone he considered a friend, and a good one. Having her around for awhile would be delightful!
"Don't worry, you're welcome to stay as long as it takes," he reminded her lightly, and got to his feet, gently shaking off the dust (and being careful not to get her dirty), "It's not like you're an annoyance, you're a guest."
He stepped forward and retrieved his feather, momentarily ponder how best to put it back by his ear- when he decided it just wouldn't work, he turned around and set it on the floor in the back of the den where he'd be sleeping so it shouldn't get lost. "I think I could use a bit of fresh air, want to come outside?" he asked, stepping towards the mouth of the den. After being in the den for awhile, outside always seemed so refreshing.

Intombi was positively glowing with joy now. "Thanks, Habu. It means a lot." She moved forward and nuzzled him gentley in a thank you once he had stood. She knew Habu was a friend, but she hadn't expected him to offer her a place to sleep until she found a new one. It really did mean a lot to her. When she pulled back, she couldn't help but take another sleeping glance through the den. By this time tomorrow, she'd have it livened up, no problem. Maybe some savannah grass here, a couple of flowers there... it'd be much prettier. Not that Habu didn't have a good sense of style or anything. She was sure that he did somewhere in that confused head of his. He had just been having issues lately with.. visions. Yeah, that whole idea was going to take a while to get used to.
"Sounds good." She waited for him to get ahead of her and followed behind, out into the bright day. It was always bright out there, but it had been such a while since she had really spent any time in a den that she had almost forgotten how quickly eyes get used to dark. She squinted, but kept smiling. Things were definately looking up in the world.

Habu smiled at Intombi when she thanked and nuzzled him, happy that she was so happy about it. Anywhere was better than just randomly falling asleep outside, and why not have some company? Habu wasn't used to living by himself, so he would certainly enjoy having someone around- and then Intombi needed a place to stay so she wasn't complaining. It was a perfect plan. With a bright nod, he turned and led the way outside to enjoy what was left of the day.
