yes, i remember... * removes his mask, shoes, and relaxes more. then rubbing the scar over his left eye* and, yes, i do plan to aid ryu, but, there are many things i still dont understand. for one, i dont understand why kasumi doesnt just return to her village, and return to bein a ninja... and, why ayane is so intent on killing her. the last time i remeber seeing the two of them together..... was when doa tech first took me from the village, a few years ago... they acted alot like they were friends at the time, ide understand if ayane was a bit envious of kasumi, but, not to the point of murdering her... it just doesnt add up to me....

*Gloglablyn, I know you are a good rper but could you please not post soo long, I can't keep up with the story and I won't even be able to continue if you keep adding more stuff in which I don't even know if it concerns my character. Plus I don't want to sound bossy but if you keep adding new chapters we won't be able to make are own stories if it involves our characters, I think Kiroku should make these chapters if needed since he is the creator of this rp. Also it's hard to go on a lot now for me because I'm starting school in a couple of days so I miss a lot. sweatdrop Or you can post a summary each time so people know the basic idea of what happened.

* waiting until the elder had finished, to respond, trying not to be rude* ive realized some of this, particularly about kasumi being captured and cloned, and their is a way to tell their difference. these clones have a distinct smell, maybe its just because im a ty- because i am what i am, but, they have an odd scent. i know this because, if you know, five years ago, i surrendered to a raid at the mugen village, in order to avoid a huge fight on my account. its was done by none other than the same doa tech that captured kasumi. i was sent to a prison facility in germany, and interrogated into revealing information about tengu. i believe from what i said they found the tengu of destruction, and used him as a pawn in their second tournament. regardless, i met kasumi at the prison after a few of the five years ive been gone, and we both esc- attempted to escape, but part of the facility self destructed, and i saw kasumi get out, but i was caught, and presumed dead, as you can see, i lived and healed, but i can barely use my burned left arm. anyway, i discovered the scent of the clones when i awoke from the blast, i though i saw kasumi, but she was different, and she ran, i continued scanning the area for my old hat, if you remeber it, and discovered that the cloning division of the facility was still intact... foolishly it seems, i left it be, and ive been trying to find the steps of whats happened in my absence, so, now, i find myself here.

STORY SUMMARY
This is a stand-alone summary of ALL important events in the story so far, numbered in the order they have appeared, this is so people rp'ing can have an easier time keeping up.

1. Nowhere, an agent accompanied by mysterious "contacts", was spying to find out about Helena's whereabouts, and the location of a Ninja Fortress.

2. Kiroku was looking for Kasumi and/or Ayane, while he was at lunch.

3. Young, as he was known then, was in a Japanese tour bus heading for a mountain hiking trail during summer break from college. The bus gets attacked by DOA Tech assassins posing as terrorists. Young defeats them but is forced to retreat as reinforcements appear. Ryu Hayabusa dispatches the reinforcements and threatens Young for tresspassing into Hayabusa forest, but spares him after finding out Young knew Kasumi.

4. Kiroku senses a presence and encounters childhood friend Ryu in Hayabusa forest, as well as meeting the newcomer Young. They agree to go to Hayabusa village since they share similar interests, ALL three of them have unfinished business with DOA Tech.

5. Helena takes time to reflect on her past, plays a piano, pets her dog, and... takes a bath.

6. Nowhere is spotted by Christy who immediately knows he is a spy, she leaves him a keycard to her room, warning him not to get involved. Nowhere boldly goes on.

7. Ayane is on track with her mission, to execute Kasumi. Ayane challenges Kasumi, who seems intent on avoiding a confrontation.

8. Ayane finally reaches Kasumi and the two kunoichis exchange words over the ethics of their situation, Ayane is firm in her decision that Kasumi must be killed and that Hayate will assist her. Kasumi performed a Mugen Tenshin disappearing technique abd eluded her would-be executioner, leaving the words, "Why don't you understand? I do not wish to fight you."

9. Nowhere bravely enters Christy's hotel room, all the while making sure that there are no traps, since Christy was known for merciless ways of assassination. He enters and finds her holding a champagne glass, ready to honor a new "partnership".

10. Ryu tells Kiroku and Young about his plan to contact Kasumi, leaving the method of resolution out. Young and Ryu converse on love life, as they near the Hayabusa village entrance. Ryu offers Kiroku his ninja face mask, because the people of the village do not trust Tebgu anymore.

11. Helena begins a new day, having the "normal" feeling of being a prisoner, due to her status in society. She was unaware that this "normal" day would in fact be very important.

12. Ayane returns to her village, the one that has Hayate stationed in, all the while pretending to ignore the remarks made by the villagers, which are a mixture of fear, shame, and plain disgust. She pays a visit to her residence, then decides to go report to the Hokage of the village.

13. Ryu, Kiroku, and Young reach the village entrance, Young was almost killed by the "watchman" because he was distracted by his mental problems. They get through the gate and marvel at the wonder of this exotic locale. Kiroku is ordered by Ryu to leave the group and regroup at Ryu's home. Ryu and Young go forth to the Hokage's residence, but are stopped by a group of black-clad, cold-blooded, hateful Ninja called the "duelists". They are lead by Sanzo, formerly Sanzo Suzaku, of the Suzaku family that once controlled the village before the Hayabusa clan was born. The Suzaku family is now extinct, they all have either been killed, or committed Seppuku, Sanzo is all that remains of them ans is a rival to Ryu and despiser of the entire Hayabusa clan. He challenges Ryu but Ryu refuses, Sanzo abhors this and humiliates Ryu. Sanzo and his followers decide to harass, humiliate, and attack the defenseless Young, in an attempt to force Ryu into taking a shot at Sanzo. Ryu manages to control his anger and waits until Sanzo leaves so he may help Young recover from his injury. Young begins to miss Hitomi.

14. Kiroku arrives at Ryu's home, completely unaware of the hate crime that Sanzo committed against Young and Ryu. Kiroku meets Ryu's family again, who warmly recieve him and meets: Ryu's mother, Ayake, Ryu's Father, Joe, Ryu's younger brother, Ryo. Joe reminisques with Kiroku on old times when they were children and then asks if he was willing to support Ryu during these times of crisis. Meanwhile, Young and Ryu go into the Hokage's mansion. making sure not to upset his elite guards, the Hokage Samurai. And Young finds out more about Ryu's ancestor who battled against the Vigoorian Emperor a century ago. Young has to see the Hoakge, alone. He goes into his chambers and is immediately subjected to Ninja Mind control, which forces Young to relive his most traumatic experiences in the Irag War, which almost lead to his suicide. After his nightmaric trance ends he comes to realize and accept who he really is, Cristian Davila, and comes to terms with his feelings for Hitomi... he loves her. The Hokage blesses Cristian and he realizes that the Hokage, or Haya as he asked to be called, is not human. Haya wishes him godspeed as Cristian, re-invigorised and confident with himself, prepares to take on whatever is put in his way.

15. Kiroku unanimously agrees that he will support Ryu. Joe and Kiroku sit at a table with some tea being served to them. Joe explains what he thinks are the reasons why Ayane, Kasumi and Hayate are in the situation that they are in.

16. Ryu leaves Young (now Cristian but Ryu doesn't know) at the Hokage's mansion. He goes to his home, avoiding Sanzo and his entourage. Takes out a message carrier hawk named "Tessha", gives him orders to find Kasumi and puts a message asking Kasumi to return to Hayabusa village where she will be safe from Ayane and Hayate, since they would not dare enter the superior protected village with demands.

17. Ayane enters the Hokage residence after being permissed by two guards. She reports her failure at executing Kasumi to a conscience-stricken Hayate which relieves his moral dilemma slightly. Ayane then suggests to Hayate that he should throw his fears away to strengthen himself as Hokage of Mugen Tenshin , as she did a long time ago. Hayate does not respond, but remembers how Ayane and Kasumi were once friends.

18. Kiroku finishes listening to Joe's opinion on the situation between Ayane, Kasumi and Hayate. He then tells Joe about his imprisonment by DOA Tech because they wanted to know more about the Tengu. He tells him of his escape from the DOA facility and admits that he is here now to try and get his bearings on what happened during his time spent in captivity.

(Inside the Hokage residence)

Cristian (Cris for short) exits Haya's chambers and smiles and nods at the Samurai guarding the door, even with their masks their faces show no emotion but they nod back. Cris sees Ryu is gone and asks the guard (Cris knows Japanese now) , "Did any of you see where Ryu went?" The Samurai guard pointed outside. "Umm... thanks."

Cris dances down the stairs, he couldn't contain his joy, he feels like a million dollars, as if he just took a ton weight off his shoulders. He reaches the door outside, minding the numerous guards along the way. The guard opens the door and Cris steps through, he cannot believe his eyes.

Sanzo and his group of "Duelists" had been waiting for him to leave the safety of the Hokage building.

'Dammit, those bastards were waiting for me and Ryu is nowhere to be seen! What should I do?' thought Cris.

Sanzo is sneering with his arms crossed as Cris finishes going down the stairs of the building. "You there!" Sanzo is pointing to Cris as he speaks, "Filthy foreign dog! Now that your babysitter is gone we intend to make an example of you, that all foreigners including Ryu, will be killed with extreme predjudice!" Sanzo makes a cut-throat gesture as he says this.

"What did you say?! Ryu isn't foreign. Now are you just going to stand there like a pissant, or are you gonna come over here and settle things my way!" Cris throws his backpack to the ground and takes the Pancration fighting stance after he says this.

Sanzo's one eye stares at Cris's fighting stance, and loses his posture, "HAHAHAHA! Look at him," Sanzo can barely speak with his arrogant laughter, "Not only is this foreigner stupid, but he is arrogant enough to think he can defeat a Ninja!!!" The whole group joins in the laughter, now they seem to be enjoying themselves too.

'Damm racists, I hate racism in all forms, it takes one to know one.' Cris remembered how he killed those Iraqi civilians, he didn't give them a single thought. But Cris vowed that from now on he will help all people regardless of where they came from, in an attempt to atone for his mistakes.

Sanzo, gestured to one of his followers, "Go get him Nobuka, show this foreign dog what a real warrior is." Nobu leaves the end of the group and takes a Ninjitsu fighting stance. Cris feels the adrenaline surging already in him, 'What? Already?' this time the red haze was all around his enemy, Nobuka, and time seemed to slow down. Nobuka threw the first attack, a outward chop that resembled a katana slashing forward, toward Cris's neck. Cris could see it coming easily and simply ducked it, dashed forward parrying a pathetic counter punch and pushed off the balls of his feet, punching with all the strength he could release. The punch contacted Nobuka's chin, Cris could hear the impact and the rattle of Nobuka's teeth. He was stunned,'Time to finish it!' Cris followed through with a spearing tackle and even HE could feel the hard "THUD" as they went tumbling down.

Sanzo's face was stunned. The whole group had fallen silent.

Nobuka's head hit the ground, HARD, and Cris grabbed his opponent by the top of his ninja face mask and unleashed wave after wave of hammer punches, attempting to crush his enemy's face. Nobuka obviously had no training in ground fighting. After he was satisfied he grabbed his enemy's head with both hands and attempted to thump his skull against the ground, but two arms grabbed his shoulders and pulled him off Nobuka. The rest of the group had interrupted and Sanzo kept on saying, "Cheater, no ground fighting allowed!"

Cris was released and Nabuka had "recovered", they handed the brusied and bleeding Nabuka a straight Ninja sword, "Lets make it more interesting!" Sanzo sounded so sure of himself.

"Wait! I don't have a sword of my own!" pleaded Cris.

"Too bad, you should have brought one then." Sanzo was loving this.

'Screw this, these guys are as crooked as the cops in Matamoros. I will show them a thing or two about reality.' Cris reached for his pocket and prepared to draw the 45. pistol he took off one of the DOA Tech assassins earlier. "Stand down Nobuka, and you will not die." pleaded Cris. "You are pathetic, pray for a swift death foreign dog!", Nobuka charged at him with his sword high in the air, ready to chop him down.

"ENOUGH!!!"

Nobuka froze and Cris did not draw out his pistol. The Hokage, Haya, had been watching the whole time, his Samurai Yojimbo (bodyguards) behind him.

"But Hokage-Sama, the laws of this village do not apply to foreigners. We can do what we want with him." Sanzo tried to act innocent and naive.

"You are wrong, Cristian is a member of this village and a ninja as well." Stated Haya.

"No Hokage, you will not bend the rules this time, he has not earned that right." Sanzo angrily retaliated.

"He did. He earned this title right after all of you stepped in to keep him from killing Nobuka, clearly proving that Nobuka was outmatched and defeated in Taijutsu. Now that Cristian has "earned" the title of Ninja, by defeating another Ninja, you can only fight him by challenging him to a duel in the arena, just like Ryu Hayabusa." The Hokage was firm.

"One day old man, your favoritism will be your downfall, and we will see who truly deserves to run things here, only the strong." Sanzo's face showed clear hatred for the Hokage, and the Samurai Yojimbos stepped in front of the Hokage ready for anything. "And you, foreign dog, will not be so lucky next time, I will see to that!" And Sanzo and his group walked away just like that.

"Thanks Haya." Cris faced the Hokage, bowing. "I told you so." Haya said while nodding back and he went back into his building, followed by his Samurai bodyguards.

Cris looked around him, villagers had been watching, an older man left the crowd and came toward him, it was the "watchman". He came close and handed out Cris's Hanbo cane. "You dropped this when they first attacked you." Cris saw this friendly gesture and took his cane back. "Thank you very much, I am Cristian Davila, Cris for short." "Yoshii, pleased to meet you Cris-san." He bowed, Cris bowed back. "As am I, Yoshii-san. By any chance do you know where Ryu-san is?"

"Of course, he went home. Follow me and I will take you there if you wish." Suggested Yoshii the "watchman".

"Yes I would be very grateful." Cris replied respectfully.

Yoshii and Cris began their trip towards the Hayabusa house. Cris passed a group of working villagers and they looked at him and nodded to him, they seemed to respect him now after watching him stand up to Sanzo and defeat the Ninja Nobuka. He nodded back. They passed this group and went on towards Ryu's home. A young lady had begun following them, "Hello handsome!" Cris turned around.

He saw a young Asian woman, around his age, she was wearing a sleeveless red kimono that was cut short revealing much of her legs. Needless to say she was lovely.

"Hello there Kagomi! Glad to see you are in high spirits today." said Yoshii.

"Hey there Yoshii-bo, who is this intriguing visitor?" asked Kagomi coyly.

"Allow me the pleasure, I am Cristian Davila, a traveler and friend of Ryu who recently became a Ninja. Who are you young lady?" Cristian was obviously intrigued by her, he was easily enticed by those kind of women.

"I'm Kagomi, I'm just a simple villager, not even a lower Ninja. I was impressed by your bravery against Sanzo. That man is nothing but trouble I say. And it was interesting seeing the strange style you used against Nabuka, what was that?" asked Kagomi, making sure to move her body daintily.

"That style was Pancration, it was developed by the ancient Greeks and is the most brutal fighting style ever invented, it is merciless in its lack of rules and fierce attacks. The disadvantages are that it doesn't include dealing with armed opponents, which was why I picked up CQC to deal with them. I learned Pancration by mistake by participating in some pit fights, becoming friends with some masters during the process. Do you like martial arts as well?" asked Cristian.

"I like martial arts, but I'm just too lazy to study them ha ha ha!" said Kagomi cutely, "Where are you going?"

"We are heading to Ryu's home, right Yoshii?" said Cristian.

"Can I come along? Can I, can I, can I?" Kagomi fluttered her long lashes while asking Cris.

"Sure!" Cristian exclaimed.

Yoshii saw what was going on and decided to leave them alone, "Kagomi, you can show him right? Take him there for me please, my old bones are starting to ache again." asked Yoshii the "watchman".

"I would love too, let's go Cristian-kun!" Kagomi's voice seemed to sing.

Kagomi and Cris reach the Hayabusa house rather quickly, that girl can move! She sees Ryu over to the side of the house. "Hello Ryu-san!" she says while trotting towards him, "What are you doing back there?"

"Um! Nothing Kagomi, what are you doing here?" Ryu seems surprised, as if he had been caught doing something wrong.

"I'm taking your friend, Cristian-kun over here! He is really strong, he stood up to Sanzo and beat up Nobuka! He is an official Ninja now, isn't that cool?" Kagomi said lively.

"Really? That Sanzo, did it behind my back! Are you all right, err, Cristian or Young?" asked Ryu.

"Yes I am. Let me tell you my real name later. I need to rest now, that fight took it out of me." said Cris.

"Well I am no longer needed here. See you around Cristian-kun!" Kagomi said and winked at Cris and left.

"Why is that girl with you?" inquired Ryu.

"She guided me to your home. Are you worried about something?" Cris was puzzled with Ryu's behavior.

"Remember what I said about the people here being slightly xenophobic? That girl seemed too friendly for seeing a foreigner for the first time. She might be up to something. I'm probably being paranoid, the villagers are usually concerned with their simple lives. Come let us go inside my home and we shall have a meal, and make plans as well." stated Ryu.

"Okay mister-paranoid. Don't worry she is just probably taken by my irresestible charm and good looks." now Cris was just acting like a damm fool.. honestly.

Both of them go around to the front and finally enter Ryu's house.

Meanwhile at Sanzo's shack...



"What did they do Kagomi? What was Ryu up to?" Sanzo's voice was sly and seductive at the same time.

"Master Sanzo, Ryu was outside the Hayabusa carrier hawk's cages. One of them was missing a hawk, the one labeled Tessha, I believe." Kagomi sounded very mature while speaking.

"So... Ryu intends to send a message to someone secretly? Well whoever it was he sent to, we will find out, and when we do I will see to that myself. I will make Ryu or the Hokage grant me and my followers a challenge, and Ryu WILL pay for destroying my family!" Sanzo was very adamant.

"Please master, all this talk of violence and revenge is spoiling the mood. And Cristian, the one who defeated Nobuka, might get jealous of us." Kagomi giggled sinfully.

"Hmph, I'm sure you have him completely fooled. But forget them, come to me, my precious girl, with me, all your wishes shall be granted."

"My loyalty to you, is as my love as well."

And Sanzo and Kagomi slept together like they always have.



(Summary of this piece)

1. Cris goes outside looking for Ryu and runs into Sanzo, seeking to kill him, once again.

2. Cris stands up to Sanzo and fights against Nobuka, one of Sanzo's followers. He defeats him easily and is forced to face him again, but this time Nobuka is using a sword. Before Cris pulls out his pistol to defend himself, the Hokage steps in and ends the match, stating that he can only be fought in the arena, because he has earned the title of "Ninja" by defeating Nobuka in Taijutsu.

3. Sanzo is angered by the Hokage's involvement and declares that he will see to it that Ryu and Cristian fall before him. He shows great disrespect towards the Hayabusa village Hokage, Haya.

4. After the debate, Cris thanks the Hokage and makes friends with the "watchman" Yoshii, who gives him back his Hanbo cane. Together they begin walking to Ryu's house.

5. Cris and Yoshii run into Kagomi, a pretty and sweet Japanese girl who says she was impressed by Cris and his fighting style. Cris easily falls for her girly charm and looks and allows her to take him to Ryu's house dismissing Yoshii.

6. Cris and Kagomi reach Ryu's house quickly and she catches him near the Carrier hawk cages. She greets Ryu and then leaves them alone making sure to flirt with Cris some more.

7. Ryu becomes worried with Kagomi's lack of fear towards Cris, a stranger and foreigner in the village. But soon dismisses it as simple paranoia. Together, both Cris and Ryu go into Ryu's house for much needed rest, and to meet up with Kiroku.

8. It is revealed that Sanzo and Kagomi are conspiring together against the Hayabusa clan and Cristian Davila, with Kagomi being the spy and Sanzo being the brawn, and that they are lovers.

ive realized two things since my imprisonment: one, some humans are some really sick, twisted bastards, and, second, be careful o fwho you trust. i dont suggest you go tell this girl every thing you know about doa, or your past with them, but if she is infact an aid, then, dont give her a cold shoulder, in other words, just think about it.
