i've seen some pretty funny player names... cant think of any atm though lol
out of my characters... my druid Mokoma has a cool name i think. very Tauren/Tribesman-ish
I also like my BE Mage, Orochi. I got a lot of people asking "Is that like Orochimaru?" and I tell them, "No, Orochi is a japanese serpent demon with eight heads."
The inspiration for Orochi's name actually came when I saw a Troll girl with the name "Amaterasu" (i think thats the one).
In HP, there are a pair of Draenei named Klatu and Barada (still looking for Nikto razz ). As well as Ophera Windfury (ya get it?! lol )
i like all the names that are pop culture references, from Old Man Hemming, to Algernon, to the cat, Mr. Bigglesworth.

Oh, and i met a hunter who named her Crawler "Kratos" from God of War ^_^

I love my mages nam, ephriel. biggrin Its from an old fantasy novel I loved when I was young. XD
and so far, she is the only one with the name.
...though in 10 minutes someone will probably read this and make one...

I usually give my characters name from norse mythology. For example My Troll warrior is named Sigurd, my BE rogue is named Hrist. And I named my be warlock after someone dear to me. I dont feel the need to say it here.

Aggramar has a paly named Bubblenhearth and, pre-BC, had a Tauren Hunter named Bullsit. He made it to 59 before he had to change it.

My all time player name I saw once, only once, in WSG was PFunkAllStar. I thought that was the coolest name being a Clinton fan and even naming my cat Parliment Funkadelic
Best NPC is one of the battlemasters in the Lower City in Shat Adam Eternia or for us old enough to remember He-Man and his battlecat

On my old server draka..
I had a priest named staraa
And as a joke my friend made a hunter " ilovestaraa" and named his pet "nshelovesme" or sumthing i dont really remember his pets names but..
He was talkive and i got known around the server pretty fast
He made it to lvl 55 before they made this change it
I stoped playing on draka but when i log on once ina blue moon people still ask me where "ilovestaraa" is lol

I loved the name of a shaman that i seen on my server named Shocktarts. He transferred off, but i still love the name.
