Aiden snorting then winced when Catori elbowed him in the ribs. When the two sat down, Catori shifted slightly, her knees bending up toward her chin. "I'm alright... Just been doing a lot of studying lately." Rubbing his side, Aiden sat down and made himself comfortable before pulling over the picnic basket. "You two wanna join us? I think I over did it on the food." Catori rolled her eyes. "No you didn't... You had planned to eat it all yourself." Before Aiden could retort, Catori stood up. "I'm gonna swim some.." She then slipped away from the small group and waded into the water.

When Alex came over to her, Catori simply smiled. "I'm alright. Just wanted to swim a bit before eating." Her eyes said otherwise but Catori would never know it. Aiden watched his sister run off then watched Alex go after her. He then looked back at Oliver. "Cat's just... Er, she's just got stuff on her mind." Wanting to lighten the mood, Aiden starting unpacking the basket, his mouth instantly watering. There were several different sandwichs, potato salad, different juices, fresh fruit, and homemade cookies and brownies. "I can prepar normal foods but Cat's the master baker. I insist that you try the brownies and cookies."

Knowing full-well that Alex wasn't her brother and could probably help her out more than he could, she finally sighed and the words just spilled out. "I think...well, I think I might like Oliver. I mean...like him, like him...but I shouldn't. I'm too young for this and crushes are so silly and it's just...silly." She didn't look up but when Oliver yelled back to her, she put on a smile and looked back to him. Aiden proceeded to stuff his face, already half-way through one sandwich. "Yeah, Cat makes 'em when she's...uh...got stuff on her mind." He rubbed his head. "Yeah... And I wouldn't mind if you guys came over. I'm sure the other's at the manor wouldn't mind either. They love our cooking as much as you do."

((*smacks Gaia for eating the post* stressed ))


"But..." Catori stopped herself. She had prided herself on not letting herself crush on guys so that she could concentrait on other things...but now she didn't seem to have a choice. Damnit...I don't want this. Crushes are for little girls! She glanced up when Alex ran off to re-join the guys. And yet...I still am a little girl... Plastering on a small smile, Catori followed Alex back then sat down and took a portion of the potato salad for herself.

Finishing off the first, Aiden reached for another sandwich. "Sorry Alex. I was hungry!" He grinned at her before taking a big bite of the sandwich. He then looked back at Oliver. "We should. I know...we could come over some time and cook for you guys. I'll make dinner and Cat could make the desert."

Catori blushed, just slightly, then cleared her throat. "It's nothing really...just a slightly tweaked version of my mom's." Aiden rolled his eyes after taking another bit of the sandwich. "Cat... Completely changing a recipe doesn't count as tweaking. Plus, you've made up a ton of other recipes all on your own." Catori only shrugged. So she could bake. She didn't do it often...only when she was upset over something...and she had been baking a lot recently.

Catori shifted slightly under the praise, trying her best not to blush or act like it effected her that much. But she did feel her heart flutter when the praise came from Oliver. "Thank you...both." Aiden finished off his sandwich and reached for a few of the cookies, trying not to laugh. "Well, that's all the more reason why we should come over to cook. Cat could make you somethin' special Oliver." Catori coughed, nearly choking on her bite of potato salad. She shot a glare at Aiden as if to say 'Stay out of it!' but said nothing.

Aiden pulled out a bottle of juice and opened it up. "We could teach you both while making it all. I think it'd be fun." Catori nodded. Even though she'd be working close to Oliver, the idea of it all did sound interesting.

Finally stuffed, Aiden dropped backwards to relax before heading out into the water. Catori, on the other hand, had barely touched her food but she wasn't that hungry anyways. She set her bowl down then stood up and wandered out to the water, slowly wading in.
