"Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self control to be understanding and forgiving." - Dale Carnegie
Funny that this quote works both for the anime as well as this thread. 4laugh

I like Kikyo so much better than Kagome but Kagome does not need to die an overly violent death for absolutly no reason other than to satisfy this mobcracy.

Kuma: I can assure you that I was in no way yelling. Lecturing possibly. But giving a supported opinion does that. As for my quote, I simply found that it helped support my opinion that it takes real character to be understanding and forgiving (like Kagome). As well as my opinion that you are being very quick to critisize Kagome for such trivial (and untrue) reasons. No offense, but I do find it very foolish. I am not a Kikyou hater myself - she is a very important and well rounded character. But I do find her to be very selfish when it comes to love - though I do not HATE her for it. I just find that you make all this noise about hating Kagome and how she's a "slut" but give no real support to your opinions. How is it you find her to be a whore? You really are just tossing words in the air. Annoying, I can understand. Some people are annoyed by certain qualities. But a slut? That simply baffles me.
gody12: I'm not taking this seriously at all. I find it amusing really - this thread really is a debate thread. All I'm doing is giving supported opinions/facts. And, I'm a girl sweet heart. 4laugh

*sighs*...........Kagome is basically forcing Inuyasha to love her...I mean yeah I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT ITS HER UNIFORM TO SCHOOL! I'm not that stupid.....But still why would you wear it to the fudel era that's my question. She twirls around in a mini skirt saying "look at me! look at me!"

I have to disagree entirely. You can't force some one to love you - and if you could, Kagome certainly isn't going that way about it. If she was she wouldn't allow Kikyou's presense near Inuyasha. Instead she sympathizes with both her and Inuyasha. There is no force there.
As for the uniform, I can only say that I don't know what's up with it either. It is quite inconveniant. But I suppose that it is just something that she feel comfortable in - she does wear it nearly everday at home as well. Or perhaps it has to do with her not wanting to look like Kikyou any more than she has to - that certainly is a possibility. Either way - wearing a short, impractical skirt doesn't make you a slut. Nor does it justify a death wish towards her.

Yes, well, you think she's probably a slut as well. If I remember correctly, her school peers have skirts just as short.

gody: sweatdrop You obviously know nothing about social phycology. Social norms change - skirts that short are apparently the norm and therefore not considered indecent. And really, they arn't all that bad. I've seen girls wear much more revealing attire.
And it seems you still havn't learned the definition of 'slut'.

Kuma the wolf alchemist Gin Petenshi: Apparently you don't know the definition either... Slut: 1. a dirty, slovenly woman. 2. an immoral or dissolute woman; prostitute. Slovenly: 1. untidy or unclean in appearence or habits I know the definition well enough to know that a skirt a little on the short side doesn't make you slut.
