i love aphrodite... not only is she sexy, but when you really think about it, she's the most powerful of all the gods and goddesses. she has seduced Zeus before!

Its sadly not that hard to seduce Zeus, you don't even need to be human to do it. My vote goes for Gaia, the mother of all things. She's a titan but still a very powerful goddess. Since she's not there though i will have to go for Artemis, that girls got it all.

I like Persephone most, but Artemis is a close second. I can't say why I don't like Athena, but it has something to do with her habit of turning people into horrors, like spiders and snake-headed.

WindDancingDragon I always felt a connection to Artemis, because I love the moonlight, hunting with a bow, and being a wild young maiden forever. Also, the one guy I liked, was totally stolen (not killed smile ) by my best friend, kinda like Artemis, except her guy was killed by her brother. The gods' lives are full of so much drama! You've gotta wonder how they keep up with it all. 1) Yeah, Artemis is my fave Olympian but I couldn't join the hunt because they use bows & arrows and I can't shoot one in anywhere near the right direction to save my life ^^ which, in that case, may be neccessary. Plus I would drop any boyfriend/love in the blink of an eye to join, but I could never shun my best friends just because some of them are boys. I'd miss them too much ^^
2) Drama? What planet have you been living on that doesn't have twice as much confusion and drama as Greek Mythology???

-0_Persephone_0- aww, Hestia never gets any love. cry course, it is speculated that she was the most important god in the household and that meals began with a prayer to "Hestia, first and last". First kid eaten, last one spit out. she dosent; really like the lime light though and did give up her spot as 1 of the 12 to Dionysus. Big sister's got a fire to watch, you kiddies go play with your toy humans. xd yeah, that about somes it up.
But Hestia is my favourite non-famous (non-Olympian, but technically Hestia is ex-Olympian) godess. Fire, flames, and an underdog more dignified than the oh-so-important Olypmians. Love it.

From what I've read, Hestia was probably a more ancient household goddes who got demoted as these big sky-gods were imported from older civilizations. She does have that primordial feel to her. Oh-so-important to everyday life, but silent as a statue. She has her secrets. wink

Hestia is my favorite goddess ^^ she is silent, (because she isn't in much myths she must be a good observer; another quality i admire) and she represents family, warm fire, and duty. (i say duty because she takes it as her undying duty to keep the blaze upon Mt Olympus burning. ) i think of all the goddesses she is the most humble, (perhaps nicest) there is. i would definitely turn to her before the others.

Out of the Olympian goddesses, Athena. Out of all, I'd say Hekate.
