Having encountered poeple with cancer a few times, I'm sure it must have been hard... I hope and pray that you stay well for everyones sake.
I also agree, friends and family is the most important thing

Well I have three things that are the most important.
The Internet, The Tv and THe Phone.
reasons:
The Internet: To keep in touch with family, and friends.
The Tv: To see whats going on in their area. Making sure no naturla dsaters have left them homeless.
the Phone: To call and check up on my family and friends if im unable to go to their house
see those things can be very vitale other than for my own perosnal useage. i really dont like talking on the phone. its borning. well it all depends on who im talking to though. so if i call some one on the phoen they better feel pretty damn specail *wink wink madralyn Cough hack cough couh*
