"Please step aside Miss, we don't want to hurt you. There is something amiss, and we will not be swayed. Alecks, push on, don't hurt her unless she forces you to. I suspect she may be related to the Battle Androids developed at Mecha Heavy Industries, so don't take her for granted either. We have given adequate warning." With that said, the party continues up the stairs, heading for the room that bears investigation...

Without another word the doll pulls her maid uniform off in one quick pull and underneath she has on a black and read body suit with a disk attacked to her right arm. She then leaps forward down the stairs and attacks the party. As she gets close a strange field appears around her and she seems to turn slightly invisible.

Fury assesses the situation and delivers his combat recommendations:
Alecks, use your Defender ability and pull that creature's attack. Retaliate with your Shield Bash, which does special damage. You shouldn't take any damage at all.
Talos, Nuku, try to stun. I know our chance is minimal against that thing, but we must stop that Meteor attack.
Lazarus, Energy Burst please. It should be just enough, combined with Alecks' Shield Bash and my Spiritual Fist to take it out.
Fury moves toward the Doll, intent on delivering his own stun. The Spiritual Fist collides with the Doll, for 10 special Damage. Dancing Sword follows it's masters unspoken command, diving in to deliver a stunning blow of it's own.
Fury: 25/25 Dice: 1d6 Defense SA: Spiritual Fist Action: Stunning Blow, Meteor primary target Heal: Team member with lowest HP AP: 0 MP: 1
Dancing Sword: 5/5 Action: Stunning Blow, Meteor primary target AP: 0 MP: 1
Party Pool: AP: 1 MP: 1
*If you guys are okay with it, I will offer potential team strategy in this format before each round of combat. If you don't want the advice, I won't do it. I respect your own ability to do what's right for your character. It's not meant to be taken as an order, only advice. Ultimately we are each responsible for your own actions, team or not.*

nuku takes a step back in fear but then suddenly leaps forward and tries to rush into the doll head on, hopping to ram right into it.

Shield Bash won't work, Fury! Have to be attacked first by something physical! He jumped in front of Laz, holding his bat out for a defensive action against the spell he saw it was casting.
Dice: Defence SA: Defender - protecting Atrus-Legnacra Action: Spell Block HP: 25/25 AP: 0 MP: 1
(Actually, it's good advice, I just can't hit with a shield bash when I'm not being hit physically. And Fargore, roll 1 six-sided for the addition to his defence.)

Okay, I see my mistake, and FARGORE's as well...
The "attack" on Atrus is not an attack but a title. I assumed this was the case based on the additional damage being spread across both Lazarus and Fury.
Meteor is based on Combat rating. When FARGORE raised his attack, apparently he thought attack was the base for Meteor's damage. (8 attack multiplied by 3 equals 24 damage) Unfortunately, that means he needs to change power up to combat, doing an additional 3 points of damage to Fury. So, no physical attack is taking place.
Hopefully, defender pulls Special action attacks as well, as Alecks has the best survivability chance using Spell Block. If not, pray for a Stun to get through Lazarus, or your imp toast.
*Upon further investigation, it seems GC has already ruled on the types of attacks defender works on. And I quote;
"And Defender pulls attacks, not damage. So it only works against regular attacks." (The Now Official Q&A Thread, Page 4, post 3)
Everybody pray for Stunning Blow! mrgreen

(Well, it would be cool if it DID pull magic attacks...I mean, otherwise, there needs to be a similar ability, sweatdrop )

I think I would like to ask permission of the Team that if they haven't posted within 48 hours, that I be allowed to run their characters as necessary to keep the story moving. Since we are basically stuck waiting on Talos and Lazarus right now, it would seem a prudent move... sweatdrop

Actually the attack was meant as her one physical attack. He blocks and shield bashes.
But yes I did miss that it was combat and not attack that it is going to boost combat and do the extra damage to fury. I will take the absent characters turns for them. Since I am the DM I should be impartial. They do nothing (Just kidding).
Talos will also attempt to stun. Laz casts energy burst.
Out of the 4 attempted stunning blows, one worked!
She is stuned and only the normal attack went through. She takes 10 damage from spiritual fist. 14 damage from shield bash. And then gets finished off by a 14 point energy burst from Laz
Your party manages without taking any damage. Although it could have turned really bad you succeeded. Your reward is.
Stealth Suit and force field
The doll gets knocked back against the wall and lay there motionless. It does not seem “dead” just deactivated at the moment. What will you do?

Fury approaches the doll, searching for a power source. He will be thorough in his search, removing the stealth suit and force field as necessary. If she stirs, it's hammer time; courtesy of the Spiritual Fist. While he searches, he asks the other team members to keep watch above, and below.

Alecks, as he was watching, sent to Fury, I think it's a construct...powered by magic instead of electricity, because it would make sense, with a witch like Cassandra. If so, you might want to save the core, as it could be used for something else...which we don't want Cassandra to have. He suddenly had an alarming thought, and sent, I don't want to take the chance of not being able to save someone, so I'm going to investigate that window. He walked and looked around, looking for the room.

Fury calls after Alecks, "Don't get to far ahead, if you run into trouble let us know. Talos, Lazarus, if you could back him up that would be appreciated." Noticing Nuku's stare, Fury realizes what he's doing might be somewhat inappropriate, from a female perspective. "Don't worry Nuku, I'm not like that. I just want to make sure this thing doesn't get back up and attack us from behind." Placing the Stealth Suit and Force Field into the Party treasure, he attempts to finish his search.

After removing the dolls suit you see that it has no identifiable “parts” of any gender. You also can’t see any opening, latches or compartments that you could use to search inside of the thing.
When you entered the house the staircase was right out in front of you. Since the window was above the front door, the room you seek would be on the other side of the landing. (The staircase leads to a landing that overlooks the entry room for the first floor. There are doors lining the walkway all along the inner edge. There are about 6 doors, two are on the wall facing the stairs where Fury and Nuku are, two are on the opposite wall and there is one in the middle of the wall to the left and right.) Alecks, Talos and Lazarus. Run over to the far side of the hall and enter the room there.
In the room you see two people. Both are males, one is older and looks strong and capable, he has a couple of scars on his chest that look like they were probably from combat. He is shackled against the wall to the left of the entrance. His shackles are pinning him directly against the wall leaving him no room to move. The other is a young boy who is chained against the wall next to the door. both of them have no shirt or shoos on. The only thing the boy is wearing is shorts and the man is wearing jean like pants. The boy looks up at you as you enter the room; the man seems to be unconscious. The boy is also holding his arm with his hand. Its seems to be bleeding quit a bit. there’s a small pool of blood at his feet and some splattered against the far wall and window. There is also a door on the left wall.
As the others enter the room and fury searches the doll suddenly the left door on the wall facing the stares opens and another doll walks out. She is also wearing a maid uniform and looks almost exactly like the first one. She is holding a broom in her hand and starts walking towards the direction of you and the stairs.

Fury looks at Nuku, frustrated at his inability to verify that the doll is out of commission. "Well Miss Nuku, any suggestions? I can't tell how this thing works at all. Perhaps we should just take our chances and join the others."
