Call me odd but I always stick to the re-naming him RedIV (7)
I think its because my little brother insisted on always calling him "Red 7" whenever he was talking to me whilst I was playing the game [when he was younger] and it sort of stuck in my head so since then I have always re-named him RedVII just for my lil bro lol

When I first started to play, I always just took the number away and just called him 'Red'. . . It was easier to refer to him that way. . . But now he is Nanaki!! biggrin

Dr-Professor Similarly i often call Barret Mr.T (for obvious enough reasons) and theres that one bit in the Shinra head quarters where Aeris says thank you Mr.Mr.T and Barret says Mr.Mr.T that don't sound right xd

There was a rumor that if you actually named him that, you would get a random boost of stats. Once only, and not that much.
I seriously doubt that, even if I did it anyways.

What I want to know is how can Nanaki's grandfather be a human (legs or no legs) unless he adopted Seto. Also, who was his mate when he had the kids a few hundred years later if he was the last of his kind?
I know, I'm a nerd to think up all these things, but come on! We're all FF nerds here.

Not really sure who his mate was but... Bugenhagen was the one who looked after Nanaki when his mother disappeared (after Seto got petrified)

I believe Bugenhagen adopted Seto. As for his legs, he has them. He's just floating on some orb thingy. Oooh! btw, I have a Red XIII fan club in this guild in case you're interested.
