"Well then! Let's pop in a Disney movie. How about Flubber? I've seen the others so many times by now, thanks to my sister Samantha that I could recite them by heart," he said as he went to the cabinet to pull out the movie.
Just then, a little puppy girl zipped through yelling, "Mommy!! I need to ask you and Jack something!!!" No sooner had these words left her mouth, did she dissapear into the kitchen.
"And that was my little sister Oddball. It'll take her a minute to realize that Mom isn't...."
"Jak! I'm home!!"
"Never mind."
ShoeBandit waved at Viki, smiling warmly as she moved to the kitchen where the bouncing puppy girl waited.

"I'm gonna go see what has Oddball worked up, be right back Viki," said Jak as he followed his mother into the kitchen.
"Momma, Jak..." started Oddball. She chewed on her lip as she tried to figure out just how to word what she was about to say. Though her tail betrayed how excited she was.
"I went to the castle today and found..a book! About emotions and stuff! And I was wondering about..um....fear. Do you two get scared?" she asked, attempting to look very timid and unsure if she should even be asking this. Being a puppy girl, this wasn't to hard for her to accomplish.
"Well Oddball, I've always hated doctores," started ShoeBandit. Feeling vaguely uncomfortable with the 'fear' topic. She was pretty sure that this whole thing didn't come about from a book either. For one, Oddball didn't like reading. She prefered to live the adventure over reading about it. But looking into her daughter's unsure eyes, she decided to play along. "But everyone has a true, blue phobia. And mine would be failure."
This shocked both Jak and Oddball. Neither of them thought their mother would be afraid of anything! Especialy something so simple, in their minds, as failure! Their worlds revolved around the fact that their mother didn't fail. Thus this revelation rocked their world like nothing else could.
Jak cleared his throat and managed a affectionate, brotherly smile towards little Oddball. "The only thing that has ever scared me Lil'sis, were those three goblin kids when all the Magic Kingdom trandformed into Halloween Town. They weren't normal! And they were turning everybody into monsters! But they're not here anymore, so you could say my fear has gone with them!"
With that, he hugged his sister and headed back into the living room to watch Flubber with Viki.
Starring after her brother, Oddball was really confused. But over joyed at being able to tell Dr. Crane all she had learned from her family! Hugging her Mom, she exclaimed, "Thanks so much! I'm gonna go out and play now!!" before darting out of the kitchen, and then the house entirely.
"Be safe!"called ShoeBandit, before hearing the front door slam with Oddball's excitment. Sighing, she went upstairs to get ready for another long night at the Black Light.

Oh crud!
Mom has gone on vacation to Scotland with that weirdo Drake. Formaly known as Monkey. This is not good! I mean, the guys ok I guess. Rome, his son is pretty cool, I just don't like how he hangs out with my Mom!
Come on, she's my Mom for crying out loud! Mom's arn't supposed to date! Especialy not my Mom! She's not the sanist person around! Something might happen and I could loose my Mommy for ever!!
Doesnt' help that Oddball has dissapeared again. We need to get a beeper for that kid! Good lord she can't sit still for a minute!! Time to go hunt her down before she finds that "Crane" guy again. Really not liking the vibe I get from that guy! Or the fact that he seems to have Odd wrapt around his skinny finger.
Damn! I better get going!!

And Mom is still in Scotland with Drake.
She's called everynight to let us all know that she's doing find and having the time of her life! Which means I don't have the heart to tell her that Oddball has dissapeared in the streets of Traverse again.
The duties of a son are never ending! So, I must find my baby sister before mother comes home. Not going to be an easy task I'm sure. Considering that Oddball is on her eternal hunt for her spots that she's positive the wind stole! She just wont except that she's a spotless Dalmation! An unhealthy obsession, but I don't know any doctores that could help her. Boy I wish Mom or Auntie were here! They could talk some sence into the empty/full head of hers!!
How can someone be so smart, and so naive at the same time?
Anyways. I'm off to hunt her down. Good thing Mom forgot to lock up my hover board when she left! Or I'd have to hunt down Oddball on foot!

Oddball has taken to hanging around the Ice Cream Shoppe. Guess I should be happy since it's easier to find her now!
But she keeps talking about this "Cerberus" thing and how people don't seem to like it. Either she made a new friend or she's make-believing. I'm hopping it's the later if people don't like it! That way, I can just tell them to leave her, a child, to her own devices. She's not hurtying anybody anyways.
At least Mom is having a good time in Scotland. She'll be home soon and everything will go back the way it was.

Thank gawd!!!
Mom is finally home and can take care of Oddball again! Ororo has grown from the earing and I'm grounded for getting my ear pierced. >>
But that's ok because Viki is my girlfriend now! I honestly can't believe it! She's so pretty and nice. What the heck she see's in me, I don't know.
Mom wasn't to happy about Oddball's 'puppy' Cerberus. But unfortunetly she's letting the pup keep him. I think that three headed mongrel wants to eat me for dinner. >>
Anyways. Better go and help Mom. Oddball and Ororo haven't met yet. This should be interesting!

This bites...almost literaly!
Ororo and Oddball couldn't have gotten off on the worst foot if they tried! Turns out Ororo is a mutant and can control the weather. Which means to can control the wind.
Oddball, with her incredibly simple and narrow mind automaticaly asumed Ororo took her spots and wont give them back.
Narrowly managed to avoid and untimely death in the family by sending Ororo up to her room while I held back Oddball. Cerberus snapped through the window at me for my troubles and Oddball ended up running off with the beast.
Ororo is so upset and I can tell Oddball wont forgive me easily for not letting her mutilate our baby sister. *sigh*
Mom needs to stop doing whatever it is she's doing and get home so she can deal with the girls! I'm a GUY!! I have NO idea what I'm doing here!!!
At least I get to spend time with Viki now that I'm not grounded anymore. Always a silver lining!
