"Whatever color you can get," he nodded, ignoring the giggling, "We'll make it match the flowers in the necklace, finding more flowers will be easier."
Flowers were not alive in the same way, they could not resist being picked exactly.. but Riko would be content to work with that they had. After all, Kiwi would like almost anything.. but Mira was here to make sure it really was special.

"Okay!" Favoring her uncle with one of her many bright smiles, she trotted over to try and find a bird who might give her a feather or two. Though blissfully oblivious to it, Mira could charm just about anyone who had half a heart. That was just how the cub was - stereotypically sweet and innocent to the core, full of smiles and giggles and happy thoughts. She was lucky she hadn't met anyone that would annoy yet.
A few minutes later, Mira returned with a delicate mouthful of much better-looking feathers that just so happened to match some of the flowers they already had.

Riko nodded approvingly when Mira agreed and wandered off to gather up some nicer feathers. He would only admit defeat because this was for Kiwi, and Mira was here to make sure it was perfect. Besides, Mira never seemed actually malicious, only giggly. She was nice enough that he could put up with it, he supposed.
While she was off getting feathers, he looked at the flowers she had gathered. He wasn't entirely sure how this was all going to come together, but they'd figure it out together. Pawing at some of them, he tried to figure it out. When Mira came back with a mouthful of feathers, he looked up from his idle work and grinned widely.
"Good work!"

Mira set down her feathers and beamed, flush with her uncle's praise. She'd done a good job, and it was for Aunt Kiwi, too! What better reason could there be to collect pretty things? Today was turning out to be absolutely wonderful, in the cub's opinion, and she gave a little hop-skip of excitement. "Now what?"
Were they taking back to someone like Mom or Grandma or Bubu, or were they doing it all themselves?

"Now we just have to figure out the best way to put it all together," he nodded, poking at the two flowers he'd been inspecting while she was gone to get the feathers, "Have you made anything like this before?" He leaned on his back legs so he would have his front paws to try to manipulate the flowers.

"Not with feathers," she admitted, eyeing the colorful little pile. Mira scratched behind her ear while she thought about their little predicament. "Maybe we should..umm...I dunno." That was bound to be a problem.

Doing the only thing he could think of, Riko put one flower on top of the other going in the opposite direction. If they could tie them, or stick them together that way, then they would be all set. 'Hmmm'ing thoughtfully, he pulled another flower over. Maybe mud or something could hold them together, it was pretty sticky sometimes.
( .. I suppose that's the beauty of not actually doing it in an RP, but it could be an awkward ending here XD)

"Mm, hold on," Mira mumbled, pausing to think about this before they did anything that might mess up their treasures in a way that made them useless for their project. In that very female way, she gently and gradually took over the process, humming to herself and thinking and fussing.
Eventually, they'd manage to put together a halfway decent necklace for Aunt Kiwi.
Maybe.
