Taking a moment to signal the others he turned toward the drivers and motioned them to continue. "Might want to keep up the whole nightmare thing Zypher if it doesn't scare them off at least you'll be ready."

"Hold on a sec!" Puc piped from atop the wagon.
"I have a few questions for the man." She dropped over the side and walked over to stand next to the bedraggled man. "Please, if you can try and remember. How many did you see when they jumped you? From which direction did they leap out from when they attacked? Did they have any mages in their group? Who seemed to be their strongest fighter, of the bandits you did see?" She smiled gently at the man. "Please try and recall."

Resting a hand on puc's shoulder he shook his head slowly. "Let the man go, he has been through allot and if he is returning to a family he probably wants to be on his way. We will cross those bridges when we get to them." Waiting on the smaller ones ok he seemed to hover parentally though he had the strange feeling the smaller one was older. Perhaps he was simply imagining it.
"Don't worry so much Puc, If there are any mages they wont get to utter one spell before I'll rend them in twain."

Puc slaps his hand off her shoulder and glares at him over her shoulder.
"I can see the poor man has had enough!" She snaps. Then, she looks thoughtfully at the wagons.
"Did you ever stop to think that while he's walking from near death, we're walking into it? It's not just your's or any of our lives we have to protect, it's the lives of all the people on this wagon train. And some of those people can't fight back." She looks at Radryn darkly.
"I think we could use all the information we can get, if we want to get through this without anyone dieing." Her last statement is nearly a whisper.

The bedraggled man looks on, somewhat embarrassed by all the attention. "I don't mind answering your questions laddie, if it helps you against them thugs. It's easy enough to recall, as there was three of them; basic brawlers if you ask me. None seemed tougher than the others; but they was plenty tough enough for me. And they was sitting in the middle of the road with a couple of tree limbs running crossed it. I tried to walk around them, but they wasn't going to allow that. Beat me something awful; I barely escaped with my life. And only cause they got tired of chasing me. I know there's more of them hidden in them canyons, but for the life of me, I wouldn't begin to know where. They just seemed to be in the right place at the wrong time. I hope that helps."

Puc looks thoughtful. "Would these tree limbs be big enough to stop our wagons?" Puc glances at the wagons and smiles vaguely.

Zypher tamed his appearance, showing that he meant no threat to the man. He listened intently to the new information that was being given. Hearing the man's tale of tragedy by the hands of those maladjusted pigs made his blood boil, but he did not let his emotions get the best of him......this time.
He'll never let the Evertrust control him ever again......

Kail’igen glances at the battered man and then at the rest of the members of the party. “I think we should move on. The more time we waste here the more time we give them to a chance to lay a trap.” Kail knew if these thugs had any sort of organization they would have had scouts spot their bulky caravan by now. He doubted the size of the logs mattered much. If they were an obstacle he’d just reduce them to a fine powder with his fireball. He knew the sooner they got through this pass the better there chances for everyone coming out of it unharmed would be.

"Were sorry to have kept you sir and are thankful for everything we must be off." Glaring at Puc he whispers very quietly. "Don't argue with me when I have this entire groups intentions at heart. You might find the walk back quite lonesome." Turning toward Zypher and Master Morty he raised his voice so they could hear him from back at the wagons. "Its all clear lets keep going!" A silent acknowledgment passed between him and Kail, himself thankful for the excuse to keep moving.
((Ok I think were ready to progress now unless puc has more questions? -.-))

The battered man staggers away, offering a final comment; "I wouldn't worry overmuch about the logs in the road, after a few minutes of brisk work, you should be able to easily clear it. If I were you, I'd worry about them Bandits..." As he leaves, Master Morty tosses him a small bundle. "For your journey good man. Hopefully the troubles you have endured have run their course." The battered man offers his thanks and moves off, with a final wave.
Master Morty turns to Radryn and shouts, "Let's head on Master Radryn. From the sound of things, we can expect trouble. I trust you will deal with it most efficiently." With that the wagons begin to move forward.
A few miles later, you see a ragged blockade as your make your way through a sharp, blind turn. Sitting haphazardly about the blockage are three rough looking men, gazing at you with greed in their eyes. One sits up, and in a low tone that carries easily across the distance says, "Welcome my friends. If you will place your weapons and valuables on the ground before you, we can begin the general assessment of your road tax. Please be aware that several longbows are trained on you at this very moment, and any attempt to disobey my instructions will be dealt with most harshly..." At this final statement a sinister grin spreads across the ruffians mouth, mirrored by his two companions.

Zypher stands in a natural stance, not wanting to alert the bandits of his "Gratuitous" hostilities. He slowly glances towards Radryn, whispering to him, "Time for the shake and bake? What's the plan?"......

With a wink he darted toward the bandit who was talking hoping to stuff his dagger down his throat. "No offense buddy were on a tight schedule."

Kail’igen was a little surprised by Radryn’s sudden jump to action but he trusted in his judgment. He knew negotiation probably wouldn’t have gotten them anywhere and by suddenly going on the offensive they might taken them off guard. Kail goes on the defensive, casting his mana shield for 6 extra life. He stands in front of Master Morty and begins to scan the sides of the pass for the hidden archers. He knew the bandit might have been bluffing, but he didn’t want to take any chances.

At the first sway of Radryn's offensive, Zypher vamps back up to his full ethereal glory. His body pulses and wanes with a flow of dark mist, morphing his hand into a black, fleshy, bone blade. He swiftly dashes to the bandit on the right of Radryn's terrified victim, knowing full well that Radryn needs no more than a single strike to fell his prey. Zypher sends a crushing blow with his glaive right in the stomach of his quarry, hoping it will stun him also.
