StrawBerryApple Sonic, that's horrible. DX!
I really do hope it comes back. Living without being able to hear must suck.
But, itwillgive you a chance tosee whatpermantly deaf people have to deal with.
;3; Hopefully you won't spar anymore. <333
lol if permanantly deaf people once heard what makes it so cool to hear, then yeah it would suck. but if they never heard it, then its probably not so bad.
most people born with deaf problems never know their deaf until like 1st or 2nd grade, because they don't realize people are actually talking, not just moving their mouths.
KumikoxChan I'd hate to be deaf cos' you won't be able to talk or listen. Double bummer. because your deaf doesn't mean either. you can talk when your deaf (take Helen Keller, for example) and you can either sign or lipread for the listening part. unless you meant physically listen...

omg that is so good. i felt horrible. i hope you recover even quicker than now.
phwew. i would prooobably not be able to keep what sanity i have left without sound. as much as i'd love to tune things out and stuff. if i could never hear the rain again, i'd be miserable. that is the one sound i am absolutely in love with.

At least it isn't permanently gone and is on it's way back as well.
How do you manage at school while your hearing is gone?

I can lipread, but the Sign Language teacher followed me around to translate anyway, and the school paid for a sub to take her place in her classroom.
and everyone else, thanks for the support. n.n;

update!
Good-ish News.
my hearing is as back as its gonna get. The twist? It's muffled.
Do you know what its like to have pressure in your ears, and everything sounds a lil' condensed and a lil' bit quiet? Thats how I hear now, and my left ear is a lil' louder, which bothers the ******** hell out of me, but I guess I better learn to deal, right?
Thanks for all the support guys.

That sucks so bad... crying I hope it comes back 200% so you can be some kind of super hero! blaugh I'll never have 100% hearing. When I was a baby, I had a lot of ear infections and that ruptured my ear drums. They're obviously better now, but I'll never be able to hear everything like anyone else does. It's not that bad though, so don't worry. You'll be able to use your awesome iPhone. 3nodding
