Alexander slowly withdrew from the classroom. "It's all right," he said, putting his hands up. "The leopard doesn't attack. See? This is my pet, Izzet. This little girl never attacks, promise!" he said. The cat was looking at Kari with slanted green eyes. "Meow!" said the cat, in the sweetest tone you could hear possible from a creature that big. "Go ahead, pet her," he said.

Kari turned, "I'm sorry, Fear isn't used to cats as large as yours," Fear had begun screeching again, "Fear, she won't hurt you," Kari said firmly, "but you'll have to shut up.

"Well, I was about to bring Izzet back to my dorm room anyways," he said. "Do you know which room is mine? I don't know my way around this stupid school yet, it's just all so large. Finding my room would be spitze," he said. "And where is the principal of this place? I haven't seen her yet. I would like to have a good start with her."

Star decided since she was done unpacking everything and had set up the room to her liking with many posters and such, Star headed out into the hallway with her skateboard in hand. Star hopped on her skateboard and started boarding down the hallway. She came near two people with their pets, and said loudly, "'Scuse me.." With a British accent, before disappearing around a corner.

Petting Nick on the head Vincent walked outside once more, his Firebird had replaces his acoustic's place in his right hand. Sighing he didn't want to go outside again, instead he pressed his back against the door and sat down. He began struming a random tune, trying to think of a song to play. Liking the sound of it he continued, wishing he was a lyracist and not a novelist type of writer.

"Ahh serenity mine...finally I can hear myself think," Solan murmured as he kicked the last of his luggage into his room and walked to the bed, falling unto the plush sheets back first with a sigh of content. He closed his eyes and smiled as a soft mewling sound emanated from the general area of his pocket and unbottoned his jacket, "Hmm Figaro? Wanna do some exploring of your own? Fine- just pick your litter spot and I totally call the bed." He pulled the kitten out and reached for the nearest case, which incidentally happened to be the biggest and heaviest, and upon opening and stretching it out, converted it into a portable book case. "There we go, Chekov free at last..you do what you want to do and I'll go about making this dump livable."

((Well, time to post. Anyways, I haven't got assigned a dorm yet...so...))
"Ah well, it doesn't matter," said Alexander, pressing his hand back on his short brown hair. He adjusted his glasses, and stared back at her with hazel eyes. "If you want to talk, here's my number," he said, and jotted down a number quickly on a card with a ball-point pen. He tugged on the collar. "Come on Izzet," he said. "Let's go find our dorm!" He walked off towards the direction of the office in hopes of that giving him information.

"The principal is Mrs. Coswell, she's really great you know, letting us decorate our rooms any way we want," Kari said, then turned to Izzet, "hello Izzet," she said although she thought she saw Fear give her a strange look, "its all right Fear," Kari told the gyr falcon, "they wouldn't allow leopards if they weren't trained, you did a good job with the leopard," she commented, seeing that Izzet was completely relaxed.

Alexander turned around at this comment. "Thanks," he said. "I put my heart in soul to train this little girl."

Kari nodded, then turned around, she needed to practice in order to audition for the chamber orchestra, she hoped she would be able to make it, after all, she had been playing for 9 years. Up in her dorm, she put her flute away, she would work on that later. Leafing through her music, she finally decided to try the advanced version of Simple Gifts, too easy, but still fun. Fear soared around the room a few times, then settled on his perch, bobbing his head in time to the music, something he always did. Kari practiced a few different songs for about an hour, then put her violin away and left her dorm, spacious as it was, she still needed to get used to this school.

Alexander walked towards the office, and reached out to the door handle. Before he turned, he noticed a piece of paper on the wall next to the door. It had a list of names and their dorm numbers, listed alphabetically. He searched through the Gs. "Ah ha, Green!" he said. "3rd floor, first dorm." he said to himself, and turned from the paper. He walked towards the steps, climbing up to the third floor and opened his dorm room. "Empty," he said. "Ok, Izzet, you can sleep here," he said, and laid down some newspapers.

Kari brought her violin down to the orchestra room, auditions take place every day this week and the next, the director of the orchestra looked up, "are you here for an audition? Ah yes, here's your name, have a seat, here's how it'll go, you play your piece for me and I will decide what orchestra you will be in, the regular orchestra, Chamber, or Allegra, okay?" Kari nodded, slightly flustered by all the information. "Now," the conductor said, clapping his hands together, "I'd like you to begin with a simple D major scale," "um, sir?" Kari said hesitantly, "how many octaves would you like me to play it in?" "Good heavens, I never introduced myself," the conductor cried, "I am Mr. Johnson, and I would like you to play it in two octaves, as fast as you can please." Kari nodded and played the scale as fast as she could, when she was finished, the conductor nodded, "now play it as slowly and as sweetly as you can," Kari did and then was asked to perform various arpeggios. When she was finished with all those, the conductor clapped his hands together once again, looking impressed and said, "wonderful, now, if you could play your piece for me."

Alexander opened the door to the orchestra room, tripping over the metal doorpost with a thud. "Sorry," he said, pushing his violin away so he wouldn't fall on it. He got up, and introduced myself. "I am Alexander Green, and you must be Mr. Johnson?" asked Alexander. "Oh hi!" said Alexander, turning to Kari. "I'm surprised to see you here!" said Alexander. "Ah hem," said Mr. Johnson. "This isn't social time." "Sorry," said Alexander. "Oh, and I must warn you, I am not that good at the violin, so go easy on me, okay?" he asked, pulling out the violin. He strummed the G string, and a low thudding noise came out of it. "Out of tune," he mumbled, turning the peg to adjust it.

"Yeah, way out of tune, it should be at least an octave higher," Kari said, "uh, sir? Should I play my piece?" "Yes, I suppose," Mr. Johnson said, "Alexander, please take a seat, I'll get to you after Kari, okay, Kari?" Kari bowed on the A string once, then adjusted the fine tuner, "okay," she mumbled to herself, "right then," she played the violin part for the polar express, she had played it with a symphony orchestra in England once and it was the most difficult music she had and Kari thought it was extremely fun to play. Kari finished the piece with only one mistake and stood waiting to see what MR. Johnson had to say.

Alexander scurried to his seat, grabbing on to the instrument. He held the bow gently on the frog, half-running half-walking. He sat down in the seat with his music in the other hand and put it up. He flipped through the music and found a good piece. Dos Fuegos. Good tune, good speed. He waited for his turn to play, the violin sitting in his lap.
