"Very well. Then we shall do it that way. For now, put your mind at ease. Jade will start to worry about you." She smiled and finished her meal. "He seems fond of me, and I'm an excellent actress, so I will keep him just as happy. I will also be sure to send you letters until your business in the castle is complete and you may come to see him." She wondered how Jade would deal with being separated from this Naga, she could tell he still had the comfort feeling when with her but still, this man had cared for him all this time.

Galbriel smiled at Calistina's words, knowing they were true. Jade worried endlessly if Galbriel seemed to be stressed or upset, no matter how well the Naga hid it, Jade always knew. "he seems sensitive to negative emotions" he said, standing up from his desk to slither towards the window, looking out at the Gardens.
"yes, I will forward letters to you, I will miss having him around...when do you propose we should arrange for you both to leave??" he asked, still watching the gardens. "my guess is, he was extremely fond of you before he lost his memories."

"He was. Whenever he felt overwhelmed or needed someone who could see beyond his Princely title, he would ask me to come to him." She stood up to join him at the window. "I am well past my fifth century, so he valued my wisdom. As for when we should leave, a few days would suffice. I am never long in one place, usually I only stay for a few days to a week. Depending on how I am needed."
She turned away from the window and went to the door. She smiled at Galbriel with an air of obvious triumph. "I shall go set about taking care of my things, I live alone so I need not send announcements ahead to my house. I await your decision on the departure day." She curtsied and left him to his thoughts.

"so you were of obvious importance to him then" Galbriel murmured after Calistina left the room, deep in thought about things. Four days would be enough for them to get better acquainted?? He wasn't sure, he had to plan alot.
Jade was in the room Calistina had been assigned to, sorting out the bed covers and ridding them of creases. The maids looked a little shocked that he was taking their place, but said nothing to him, all three of them for this ing just stood outside the door, murmuring to eachother. It was odd that he was taking such an interest in this woman they thought.

Calistina came up behind them and smirked. "Lord Galbriel's little page seems quite intent on making the Lord's guests comfortable. His training in the art must have been quite good. I shall have to ask him where he acquired the boy. He is quite pretty and I might have need of at least a servant or two in my home. Now if you ladies will get about doing YOUR job if you please." That should put their minds at ease for now, Calistina thought. The maids did know her and her....proclivities...with other nobles. And if she showed no knowledge of the boy then they would assume he was just another of Galbriel's servants. She closed the door behind her and smiled at the boy.
"If you keep doing that you'll smooth the fabric right out of its stitching, Amber dear." She glided ever so gracefully over to her vanity and sat down to brush her long white hair. Her ice blue eyes stayed on Jade even through the reflection of her mirror.

The Maid's all started at Calistina's apporach, their curiousity easing a little at their words and they scattered when told, shuffling down the hall in a barrage of chat about the strange woman who was to be guesting here.
Jade looked around at the voice and smiled at Calistina, perched on his knees on her bed, trying to get rid of the wrinkles in the centre of the bed. He watched her come into her room and climbed down from the bed, slowly walking over to sit on the floor next to her seat, watching her brush her hair. "I wanted it to look nice for you" he murmured quietly, a hand tugging on a curled strand of auburn as he watched her brush her hair.

"It looks quite lovely dear. You have good taste and know how to make someone feel welcome." She smiled and ran a hand through his hair. Still as soft as it ever was. She finished brushing her own long hair out, the bleach white strands such a stark contrast to her dark skin. As she crossed her legs, the slit in her dress was revealed. Also, from Jade's vantage, he might catch a glimpse of the large burn mark on one of her thighs. An ever constant reminder of her violent past.

"Galbriel gave me this room, but I don't use it" Jade answered, looking at her curiously when he felt her hand in his hair; He smiled and leaned his hand into the touch. His eyes still on her, he raised a hand to touch the end of a strand of her white hair, marvelling over how white it was. "your hair is lovely, Lady Calistina" Jade murmured softly, intrigued by her unusual appearance, as after all, he was only used to Naga's and Elves.
His eyes gravitated to her legs as they moved, a natural reaction to anything that moved when you weren't expecting it to and he peered a little at the mark on her skin, wondering what happened. "you have a scar as well" he said quietly, unsure if it was a painful thing to talk about for her, thus he didn't ask where it came from.

"Thank you. I take good care of it. Its part of my appeal." She grinned and winked in her usual manner. Her face softened as he pressed his head into her hand. He had always done that. The soft looked hardened a bit as he mentioned her scar. "Yes, I got it when I was very very young in an accident."
She turned towards him a bit and started to brush his hair. "The wind isn't kind your pretty locks though. Lets get you all prettied up." She gently brushed his long ginger hair, much like she always did to calm him down after an emotional outburst. She hoped to get all those warm trusting feelings back into him for when he was separated from Galbriel.

"really??" Jade asked, giggling a little at the wink he recieved, she really was just like a mother or a big sster...again he was assaulted with blurred images he didn't know about. He rubbed his eyes and blinked in surprise as he felt the brush pass through his hair, an almost purr escaping his throat at the soothing feel of it. He shifted closer, his head resting against her leg as he shut his eyes, revelling in the feeling of being near someone who felt very much like his mother.

She smiled, he still loved this. That confirmed his emotional attachment to her was still intact. With a bit of luck he'd be perfectly at ease going to her home. "So tell me, are you curious about the Goblin Kingdom? There are so many kinds of creatures there. And the balls held by King Jareth are amazing."

Jade smiled dozily as Calistina brushed his hair, just relaxing into the touch. He enjoyed having someone else brush his hair, he knew somehwere inside him someone else used to do this before, before he lost everything. He was so relaxed he almost missed Calistina's words and opened his green eye to look up at her.
"..yes, it sounds like a fun place" Jade murmured softly, leaning back more against Calistina. She felt so reassuring. "you feel like a mother" he murmured gently, smiling at her.

"Oh but I am a mother. But my son is grown now, out on the seas behaving quite badly I might add. So I suppose I'm just use to behaving like that to younger boys." She smiled and continued to brush his hair. "Tell me, Amber, how would you like to come visit me in the Goblin Kingdom? I could introduce you to a great deal of interesting people. And what's even more fun, is that most of the balls are masquerades. You get to wear pretty masks and have all sorts of fun. I bet Galbriel would love for you to continue to learn. Maybe it will help with your memory."

"you are?? Is your son nice??" Jade asked, wondering if he was one of those merchants or in the navy. It never even crossed his mind that her son could be a pirate, he didn't think Calistina's son would chose such a route. He shut his eyes once again, tilting his head into the brush a little, he was enjoying being so relaxed.
"I could?? It sounds wonderful!!" Jade answered, twirling around to face Calistina with an excited grin. He could go out of the castle?? Oh, he wondered what it was like in the Goblin Kingdom, or even further then that.

"Oh my son is very nice. Quite polite when he wants to be." She smiled a the thought of her son finding out she was keeping a hidden prince in her home. She also smiled at his excitement at the idea of going to her home. "How about this, Amber. I'll take with Lord Galbriel again. I'll see if he'll let me bring you to my home so you can see more of the world. You can't just stay in the Naga kingdom forever. Just image the different kinds of people you could meet in my home." She put on a mischievous smile, one that would get the child more excited.
