She returned his smile, elated that he seemed to understand on some level. Maybe she was getting better at this. She didn't all-together understand her powers herself, so explaining them to others was definitely difficult. Half of it was simply describing what she felt as the did it - the process her mind went through.
If she'd known his thoughts, she would've found herself predicatable. Instead, she spoke of her plans with some bit of bubbling pride, barely retained behind a thin wall, "Contact juggling. It's where y'move objects over yo'r body without holdin' them. Have a grown man hold the ball, 'nd a lady to show how heavy 't is, then I'll juggle it." She shifted from one foot to another with a silly smile, suddenly loosing confidence in herself as she heard the plan out loud. It didn't seem quite as impressive, "I'll do better things later. Like make people dis'pear. And elephants, maybe."

"Ah, Oi was close." He grinned, hands in his pockets as he stood there listening intently to her explanation. He enjoyed chatting with her, she was a pretty smart girl- and where he was from, those were few and far between in the 'working class'.
Come to think of it, most of the women he'd met here were sharp as tacks. Mmm, dangerous.
"Those sound real entertainin', Oi look forward t'seeing you preform." Charlot could see it now, Ame's pretty figure standing beside some strong man- and suddenly she's the one tossing the iron balls around like they were feathers. He tilted his head a little, regarding her curiously. "D'ya know when you'll be preforming?"

She pressed her palms together idly as they conversed, stretching out her wrists and sighing as she felt that satisfying pressure and release. Dropping her hands to stuff her fingers of one hand into her pocket, the other played absently with the spare button that had been sewn to the very button of her blouse.
There was much to do before she was ready to perform, and she knew it, but she felt the excitement bubble inside at the idea of performing at all. "'onestly, I 'aven't the slightest. But I'll letcha know, if y'd like?"
Brows arching, her mix-matched eyes looked him over briefly before she fixed him with a look of keen interest, "And what d'you do? Y've already performed, aye?"

He nodded, "Yeah, th'td be nice."
Charlot paused a moment to tug his hat off and run a hand through his hair. After fixing it to his pleasure, he set the hat back on and refocused his attention on the lady in front of him.
"Me? Oi do a couple things, really. Oi build some of th' sets an 'elp set up; man'ual labor an all tha-" He grinned, shrugging his shoulders a little. "Performin' wise, oi got a knife an whip act." The taller figure nodded to her question. "Aye, oi've performed a few times."
The was a slight commotion outside, voices raised and apparently doing some big hauling. Charlot glanced up, frowning a little at the sounds. Maybe they needed some help? He figured he'd been inside chatting OVER his expected time.
He glanced back at Ame, eyebrows up. "Oi should prolly get out an see if oi can 'elp~ Oi'm sure we'll see each other around." He flashed a wink, tipping his hat to her before turning to leave through the little door he'd come through.
