Fenrir clapped her hands, ears turning forward, "Good job Corbin!" She said happily, tail swishing behind her, "Come up to the top the view is great!" The only place that one could get a better view the the 'castle' was up the tip top of a tree. She waited a moment to make sure she had been heard before she set to climbing along. She faltered a few times and the smaller branches faltered a little under her feet but aside from that she was doing alright thus far.
"Be careful Fenrir!" Baldric called up the tree, last thing he needed was a trip to the ER today when it was supposed to be his day off, "I hope I don't end up taking up the habit again." He said in a joking manner.

He basked in the praise and watched as she climbed higher. His ears went back and he looked to his father before attempting the same feat. Instead of worrying about the small branches he dug his claws into the tree and scaled it that way, using his hands to grab branches and pull himself up. At one point he got hold of a branch but lost his footing. "Finrir!" He called his feet scrambling to get a hold.
Greg took a step forward hoping that the fox-like child could help him. Trees weren't his thing and he was too afraid to climb up and get stuck. "Careful Corbin!" He warned, eying the boy should he need to rush over to catch him.

Fenrir looked down then gave a squeak, "Ah! Corbin!" She called then set to moving back down the tree towards him determined to help her friend, "Hold on. Almost there." She said then stopped her decent when she was on the branch above his. She sat down on it then reached down, offering one hand to the boy while she held onto the branch with her other hand and legs.
Baldric watched a moment more then said, "Maybe it would be best if they came down onto the ground?" He suggested. He didn't want to see either fall, unlike falling like Corbin had in the race falling from a tree could have serious consequences.

Corbin reached up as far as he could and took her hand. He whimpered still trying to get a grip with his feet. The boy stared up at her in slight fear then finally hit a good spot with his claws. He used her hand and helped scramble up next to her on the branch, panting heavily. "Scary..." He murmured.
"Yah I don't think its good they're up there. Maybe when they're older but not now." He responded taking a few steps forward. "Guys, why don't you do something else? That's too dangerous!"

Fenrir patted Corbin on the head gently, feeling a little bad that the boy had gotten scared when playing with her, "I'm sorry. Wanna play something else?" She asked, ears laying back.
Baldric walked over to the tree, looking up at the two kids, "Come on you two. How about we place on the ground?" He said, deciding that while it was a good thing that Fenrir wasn't afraid to try such things that a lack of all fear may be a bad thing too. No fear meant nothing holding her back.
Fenrir looked down to where her Daddy was then gave Corbin a smile, "If we climb down a little ways to where he can reach Daddy will help us down." She told her friend.

Corby didn't react to getting pat on the head. He was much more focused on not falling to his doom. "Yah... this game is hard..." He voiced not wanting to admit he was terrified. His dad was so far away... He was proud he'd gotten this far though.
He stared down at Fenrir's father and gulped. "O-okay..." He replied, slowly hoisting himself down branch by branch. When he was close enough he reached down for Baldric, grateful for the extra hand.

Fenrir followed along after Corbin down the tree, carefully so as not to fall as she may fall on her friend. Last thing she wanted to do was to knock the both of them out of the tree even if her father were waiting at the bottom of it.
Baldric plucked first Corbin and then Fenrir out of the tree and walked over to where Corbin's father was standing and set the Zangoose boy down on his feet, "There we go, safely on the ground." He said, setting Fenrir down as well.
The Eevee hugged her Daddy's legs, "Thanks for the rescue." She said, tail wagging.

"I actually think its time for us to go." Gregory replied reaching down and ruffling his son's red hair. The boy swatted his hand away but he was tired and it didn't have much effort in it. "Say goodbye and thank you Corbin."
"Bye..." He told the Eevee offering the tiniest hint of a smile then looked up at her father. "Thank you for helping me down." His voice was level but well meaning. Right now he just really wanted to nap...
Greg gave a smile to Baldric. "Thanks for getting him down for me. See you some other time."

Fenrir gave a little bit of a pout before finally nodding, "Alright." She said before turning to give Corbin a bright smile, "I will see you later, lets play again ok?" She lifted her hands up to catch hold of her father's arm and hung off of it.
Baldric gave a smile, "It was no trouble at all, its useful being as tall as I am from time to time." He said jokingly then gave them both a wave, "Come on Fenrir. Lets go pick up Hari and get heading for home ourselves."
They waved before heading to pick up the third member of their family who was hanging out still where they had left him, still working on new tattoo designs.
