i would have to say because of the action,adventure,humor,romance and story line of strong friendships. Also because its the best ninja show.

it has everything a show needs
1. Anime Action
2. its from Japan!
3. humor
4. Drama
5. Blood (no one wants to see a guy getting stabbed and he just falls over)
6.Flashbacks
7.seperate story lines (wouldnt 200 episodes ONLY about naruto get kinda boring?)
8. RAMEN RAMEN RAMEN!!! xd

I agree with you totally!
Plus also, who wouldn't love the charactors:

Sakura: She was made fun of as a child and strives to prove herself.

Ino: Fights with Sakura over who can win Sasuke's heart (we all know neither wins but it is still funny!)

Naruto: Has had a horrible and hard past yet wants to prove that even those that are looked down upon can be the greatest some day! And also, naruto is just awsome!

Sasuke: He is just him...out for vengence is a new role and it plays on itself in the beginning making you think he wanted to kill Naruto. I threw a pillow at the tv for that one and called sasuke an a**. Then he turns evil!

Hinata: Secretly crushing on a guy who doesn't really even know that she exists. She is also so pretty and strong...

Neji: Because he looks like a chick and I think he's pretty!

Haku: He confused me...I thought he was a very pretty girl!!! LOL! sorry but i did...i was like "Wow! I want to look like her" Then he says "By the way...I'm a boy..." I was like "HOLY SHIIIIIT!"

Kakashi: Because he defenatly brought sexy back!!! lmao...

lol...and the other charactors because well...they are there...lol
