"Of course, Anya," Hayden chuckled in response to her question. "That way, I always know who it is calling me, right?" He smirked good-naturely. Honestly, he'd grown used to the nickname by now and certainly didn't mind.
Better than being called other things.
He cringed reflexively at the sight of the head-patting, jumping in to try and explain more clearly. "Anya...had a little incident before she was brought here. Severe head injury. Unfortunately, she seems to have bad luck involving aggrivating said injuries..." He raised an eyebrow, shooting Anya a playfully scolding look before leaning in to speak more quietly to Kira. "As for the wizard or Mrs. Tin? Your guess is as good as mine. I'm assuming she's been off giving other guests nicknames again. 'Fraid I have no idea who the nicknames belong to."

looking down Anya pouted when she was playfully scolded. " I am sorry Mr lion I am trying to be careful but I keep falling down and I do not like to fall you know Mr lion. It hurts." She started to back away from them scared that she had done some thing wrong again it was not her falt that she fell all the time was it.

Turning his attention from Kira to Anya, Hayden frowned, noting the young girl's retreat. "Hey now..." He reached out for her shoulder. "I was just kidding, Anya. Don't take me too seriously, 'k?" He smiled gently, hoping to reassure her. He'd have to be more careful in the future to make sure she knew when he was just joking with her. Poor thing.

Kira giggled a little, then blinked, realizing just how thirsty she was getting. Excusing herself from the group, she went over to the punch table and poured three glasses of the beverage; one for herself, and one for Anya and one for Hayden. Between balancing the three cups in one hand and holding the skirt of her dress out of her way and the bouquet in the other, it was a miracle that she made it back to the group without any red splotches on the dress. "Here, you guys, I've brought some drinks for you." She happily riddened herself of two of the drinks, giving them to Anya and Hayden.

Selvagem had lurked around the island for a fair amount of time now. The people that lived or worked here scared her too much to socialize with them, plus the fact her English was still not good enough to hold a conversation. Those two factors made her remain friendless and she holed up in her room in her free time.
Now the discussion about a 'party' intrigued her. Selvagem's family would be celebrating the holiday of spirits, of both Pokemon and human. She would be partying along with them, if her father hadn't asked her come along to the city port, if those men in black hadn't whisked her away to another foreign island...
So even if she didn't know anyone, Selvagem attempted to attend the party. Having no clue that costumes were welcome, she tried to wear the most normal clothes that she had, so she would almost look like any ordinary person on the island.
When Selvagem stepped through the doorway into the cafeteria, she was disappointed to find that most people were dressed in extravagant clothing. What a great idea to wear city clothing in a weird clothing party and to wear weird clothing any other time... She thought bitterly.

There was getting into the spirit, and then there was getting into the spirit. Fenrir had certainly crossed into the second, emphatic realm. He loved any excuse to dress up. He loved free food. So thus, it was no surprise he was making quite the appearance at the party. Plus, Halloween had always been a celebration of spirits and a big holiday back home. He wondered briefly how Nan was doing. Ah, the old gal was probably fine. He hoped.
Anyone who had seen Fenrir before he dressed up might have trouble recognizing him were it not for his expressive green eyes.
He had come tonight dressed as a Gengar. It made sense for a boy from Lavender town, after all. He had spiked his hair up in thorns to resemble the spiny crest of a Gengar- and he'd done a good job as well. He'd accomplished the look by masterfully using a diluted glue mixture in place of hair gel. He wasn't sure Cronus even HAD hair gel to spare, and he didn't want to be a bother so early. Plus, glue and water looked a lot less suspicious and less vain than hair gel.
He'd even colored his hair purple (thanks to requesting a few boxes of grape kool-aide). Oh, but it didn't stop there. He'd managed to acquire a janitor's onesie jump-suit, which he'd dyed purple with the remaining kool-aide. Then, he'd taken some foam and cut it into jagged peaks before covering it with soft, purple felt for the back-spikes. He'd even crafted a short tail out of felt and stuffed it with what used to be in his pillow (it was okay, he only needed one pillow anyways). Both the back ridge and the tail had been stitched on, though by the look of the stitching, it was obvious Fenrir was no seamstress.
He liked his costume. It was fun (and VERY purple, which was always a plus)! He even made a little cardboard face mask with red cellophane taped behind the eye-holes.
In a way, the costume had been a distraction, something to do. He didn't remember much of the last few days, and the costume distracted him from being too concerned over that. He remembered talking to Carl and he remembered being tired, but he didn't recall much more. He figured it'd come back to him anyways- he must have just been wiped from the trip or something.
He poked into the room, looking around briefly with his mask pulled down. There seemed to be an assortment of people- and even some Pokemon- clustered about. Ah, but then he saw a face he recognized.
He crept around the edge of the room, coming up behind Hayden quietly. Once close enough, he threw his purple-gloved hands over Hayden's eyes.
"Guess whoooo~" he intoned playfully.

Liz watched as Anya moved away to talk to this..Mr. Lion....Judging by his clothes he must work her. Funny. She hadn't seen him before. Liz watched a number of pokemon join the room, a raichu, a typhosion, a absol...All dressed. She felt sorry for them, being forced to wear that stuff...At least she had a choise...Though seeing other's come in and realising she had the least clothes on of everyone here was a bit...Embaressing. She slowly snuck into a corner to watch everyone.
Liz smiled shyly when Demetri annocented himself. She sorta wished she could be like that inset of watch she was...Always in the shadows. Working in the contest she just found a quiet corner to draw in...Liz snapped back to reality once Fenrir came in...It was hard to miss the purple boy. She could smell the grape kool-aide he used to dye his costume and looked puzzeled to him.

Kira just stared a little at Fenrir. She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out, and she closed it again. She wasn't really sure how to respond to this. "I'm going to guess another friend of yours, Hayden?" She chuckled, smalling the grape kool-aid as if it were a perfume off of the guy.

Chidi glanced from one Pokemon to the other, one brow raised in curiousity. How blunt, he thought to himself. His coy grin remained for a time, before fading with the silence, only to be replaced with an aloof scowl. His stance also shifted into a more distant one, slouched over with droopy eyes. "Chidi," the Raichu said bluntly, gesturing half-heartedly to himself in an obvious imitation of the other two's demeanors.
It took all he had not to cackle wildly, but he successfully suppressed this desire.

Every one at least once in their life has gone to a party; be it a wedding reception, birthday or a small get together of friends. Most parties had a theme and in this case it was that time of year to be spooked or scared to death. A party should be fun but to Elea, the mere idea of having a Halloween celebration was stupid in itself. Was this a ploy by the labs to make them forget for one night that they weren't captives? Was this their way to show they had some humanity before conducting their experiments?
The emerald eye girl didn't want to partake in such festivities. She was still on some sort of a strike, and after her last experience in the cafeteria she wasn't in a hurry to return there. Still, the guards persuaded the youth to go. To make friends they told her. She merely scoffed at that reason and flat out refused to go. The guards tried one more time and out of annoyance did she finally cave in...and to her horror the costume in her room was...a dress.
Of all the things she had to wear--aside from normal clothes--it had to be a dress with some make-up and what appeared to be fake blood. In theory she didn't have to wear the costume but it would plain weird to be the only one wearing street clothing to a costume party. Grumbling to herself the young girl dressed up as a dead prom queen.
She made her entrance to the cafeteria quietly, emerald eyes carefully looking around. The person in charge did...a decent job--she would never admit to herself or out loud that the person actually did a great job. There were some pokemon around in costume as well as people. 'Just hang around for a few minutes to say you were here and then head back to my room. Its not as if a person will approach me or anything exciting will happen.' She thought to herself, moving away from the entrance over to an empty spot along the wall. She had no need to go and interact with the others, though deep down she was just too afraid to do so.
'God let ten minutes go by fast please...I don't want to stay too long...'

Flying punch would be a bad thing.
Fortunately for all involved, Hayden was quick enough to catch the cup he nearly dropped before the contents spilled and found an (in)convenient surface to plant themselves upon.
Unfortunately, such luck was not to last. Nothing was perfect.
As the guard ducked and spun to face his 'attacker,' he coughed and started choking on the punch he'd just swallowed. "...the...hell?!?" Trying to catch his breath between coughs, Hayden's curse was purely in surprise. Even if he hadn't recognized the voice, he would have still been able to tell who it was beneath the costume simply by the previous actions.
"...Fenrir? How in the world...? Or do I even want to know?"
Despite nearly choking to death, Hayden couldn't help but laugh. The kid had gone all out for the festivities...though, when he thought about it again, how could he expect otherwise? Eyebrow raised, still taking in Fenrir's costume, he nodded in response to Kira's question. "Apparently so," he murmured thoughtfully, a note of private amusement creeping into his voice.
Who knew? Never thought I'd see him again...at least, not happy to see me.
Don't get too happy yet, buddy. He hasn't been here long enough to learn to hate you yet.
Ouch. That sobering thought lingering on, Hayden resumed talking as if never missing a beat. "Kira? Meet Fenrir. Fenrir? Kira and Anya."
Well, wasn't he just host of the year...

Fen let go of Hayden once he ducked and spun, giggling to himself. He pulled off his cardboard mask, holding it by the string in his gloved hand. He pointed at his spiked and purpled hair with his free hand.
"It's glue, water, and grape kool-aide." he said proudly.
He was indeed proud of his ingenuity. Why use real dye and gel when this was more fun? Kool-aide would wash out better, and the glue would hold the spikes better than gel. It was win-win all the way around.
Either way, he was happy to see the guard. He was the one person Fenrir knew in this place, and the one person Fenrir was sure was nice.
"Hey, glad to see you here. Are you cutting work to come party with us, or did they give you some time off?" he teased. "How do you like my costume? You're looking pretty keen yourself, though." he said, giving a thumbs up to the guard.
He looked over at the other people that were part of the group as they were introduced. He waved a gloved hand at them, adjusting his goggles habitually (oh yes, he was still wearing his goggles).
"Nice to meetcha, ladies!" he said jovially.
Ah, it was always so nice to meet new people- it made him feel less alone. Maybe they'd end up working together. He hoped they were as nice as they seemed...but then again if Hayden was hanging out with them, they had to be half-past decent, right?
He glanced around the crowded room, eyeing plated of food and the other occupants. He noticed on girl across the room in a very, ah 'interesting' outfit looking at him. He smirked and gave a brief wave to her too, followed by a playful waggle of the eyebrows before he turned back to the group he was with.

Kira finished her punch, crunched the cup up, and shot it smoothly into a waste basket, then smiled and curtsied to Fenrir. "It's nice to meet you Fenrir! I'm Kira Hiromi, but you can just call me Kira." She giggled at the ingredients used to make his costume. "It's much more creative than mine, that's for sure."

Smiling at hayden she now understood that he was only jokeing with her about it being her fault falling over all the time."ok Mr. Lion I was worried you thought I fell on purpose I would never do that because it hurts." seeing kiras come back with the punch and offerieng one to her anya happly took the cup. Anya just got a good hold on the punch fild cup when she saw Fenrir "Mr. Lion watch out there is a giant purple people eater behind you." In her feat she let go of the cup letting it fall to the ground splattinering all over the floor and her dress. "Whait Mr lion is not a purple person so the purple people eater should not eat Mr lion." looking down at the spill she blushed.
"oopsees I will clean that up." Anya ran over to the nearest table to get some napkins or anything that would soak up the red juice. As she walked over that way she noticed a fimiliar face. "Mrs. Tin." Anya called out waveing her hands at the bloody prom queen.

Charcoal announced his entrance with a roar. He walked in the room and observed. For the most part it seemed to be full of humans but there were Pokemon and even one giant Gengar. He'd have to talk to that one. He looked for Bliss but didn't see her. He figured she was fighting this as much as possible and sighed. She was going to get herself killed. Not that he cared or anything and he was still angry with her. In fact he was going to pretend he hadn't looked for her.
The Charizard perked when he saw Anya and opened his wings, getting to her in the quickest manner possible and ignoring the other guests. "Hello..." He offered to her, flickering his eyes warningly to Hayden. On the Pokemon's head, as a joke from one of the guards was a top hat and a mask. After all, everyone should dress up.
