Sim Mother and I went shopping today! She wanted to go to the Durem, to those high end boutiques where nothing but elites go to buy thing, but I absolutely insisted that we go where bargains abound! She seemed smitten by the notion and so we went to Barton instead.
But what ought to have been a grand, marvelous experience was utterly ruined because we were on this horrible thing called a ::shudder:: budget. Ugh, even thinking of that word leaves a horrible taste in my mouth.
Well, I suppose every drab cloud has its rainbow lining! I was able to purchase a rather lovely golden needle at a bargain! Something about it being a useless-dull-ornamental-piece or was it cursed? Whichever it is it currently escaped me at the moment. Aside from that, a theater group was selling their old costumes at a loss! It was fortunate for me since they had this most adorable rainbow colored feather boa that I simply had to have.
With just a little bit of money left, I saw this greenhouse and was oddly reminded of Lady Z. Perhaps this can be attributed to the earthy tones she was dressed in? I sought to remedy this and decided to look for something I could dress her up in.
It must have been that horrible lighting of this dingy little store that caused me to mistake this ochre kerchief for a mustard one! It was too embarrassing to admit this, so now I have to suffer the humiliation of presenting Lady Z with such an atrociously colored gift! Sim sighed as he lowered his sparkly pen beside the journal. Absently he reached out for the kerchief and visibly shuddered in disgust at the color.
"Something has to be done about this grave error." he growled, gripping the piece of clothing tightly in his hand. He rolled onto his side and raised the kerchief to the light, "Perhaps if I had mother bleach this the color might become more attractive?" he wondered and began to visualize what it might look like had it been larger.
The ochre hue began to fade lighter until it was a crisp white. And Sim decided that in this new color and size, it didn't look as horrible as it had before. When he blinked, he expected to see the grotesque ochre but was pleasantly surprised to find the color remained white. What more was that he also noticed the kerchief remained a bandanna.
"Oh my..." he murmured, squinting at his discovery, "I wonder if..." he closed his eyes and tried his best to imagine a bright azure bird had chosen to nest upon the bandanna. When he opened his eyes, he saw a dark teal had replaced the white. Any other attempt at changing the color compromised the delicate flower prints and Sim decided not to experiment on it any further.
"Perhaps next time I shall have mother purchase cloth rather than clothing?" he grinned before changing into a lacy lavander nightdress and going to sleep.

Huni Pi Sim confidently strode down the streets of Durem towards the antique store. Earlier on he had informed his mother that he was going out on a mere stroll and intended to return home when things got dark. When prohibited, the teen resorted to doe-eyes and a plea that was damn near irressistable to the older woman.
With that thought in mind, Sim continued his walk with an added spring in his steps, his head held high as he ignored the shocked and mocking stares the people were making.
It wasn't everyday they would see a teen dressed in mauve pantaloons, a pink and orange checkered vest atop a white long sleeved shirt with ruffles at the collar and sleeve hems. His wooden clogs clacked noisily on the street, drawing the attention of the people walking in front of him.
With a flurry of the hand clutching his orange kerchief, he blew kisses and bowed to everyone as he entered the shop, the other hand gingerly holding a small parcel.
"Greetings and Salutations!" he declared. emme Ray was sitting in the back room sketching a bit of the garden as seen through the window when he heard the door open. Emme had gone out for a break and to meet with a client, and had left him to tend to the shop. There were others around, but he wasn't sure where any of them were. So he got up and went to the counter... and noticed a very....interesting person.
Ray blinked at the clashing colors of the boys outfit, doing his best to keep his mouth closed. He'd never seen anything quite like it. But the fellow was quite cheerful and confident, so Ray shrugged and replied to th boy's greeting with a simple, "Hi." and a slight wave. Huni Pi "Hello there." Sim grinned, walking into the store straight towards Ray as he subtly appraised the other teen. 'A new face, perhaps this one would come to view me as a fool.' he thought to himself. Once he was near enough, he daintily set down the parcel he held onto a table before intensely staring at Ray.
Rude as it was, there was no malice in Sim's eyes, but the expression on his face clearly showed he was not pleased with what he saw.
"Pardon me for saying this, dear, but has anyone ever mistaken you for a plant?" he asked with utmost seriousness. emme Ray laughed and ran his hand through his green streaked hair. "Not that I know of... " He paused, still a bit slow with his speach, witty remarks and otherwise. "Though I don't think I'd mind." He leaned forward on the counter, observing the other boy casually before remember his duties as teh man behind the counter. " Oh! I'm Ray, Is there something I can help you with?" he said automatically, straightening up again. Huni Pi Sim quirked a brow that Ray's response was a negative, "Really?" he gawked, one the palm pressed against his chest while the other pushed down towards his wrist. "Well, either they were too polite to say anything, or everyone but me has no fashion sense whatsoever!" he declared. "But it is a wonderful thing that you do not mind, denial prevents the healing process." he nodded, quoting an article he read from one of Huni's old magazine.
"Riri dear, you don't mind if I call you that do you? Well, Riri, would you happen to have seen Lady Z- I mean Lady Zanna?" he asked with a sweet almost efeminate smile, elbows resting on the counter and his cheeks propped upon his palms. emme Ray cocked a brow... what was he just called? Riri? It wasn't even close... well, the 'R' was right. And what was he going on about fashion sense? Why would he care about 'fashion sense' and why would anyone else care? "Uh.. I really do prefer my name, Ray." he said his name slowly, hoping the odd boy would get the last two letters of hi srather short name right this time. He stepped back almost involuntarily as the redhead leaned on the counter and asked about Zanna. "I haven't met her myself... I'm sorry. I can take a message, or you're welcome to wait and see if she stops by." Ray told the other boy politely. Though he'd been anxious to meet some new people, at the moment, his sketching was seeming more and more inviting. THIS is why I like trees... he thought to himself. Simple, quiet... He blinked again as he glanced back at the redhead again... and not nearly as hard to look at...Huni Pi Sim gave a dramatic sigh, "Oh alright, Ray it is, then. But it's just that Riri sounds so much more endearing." he explained with a shrug. "Since it appears that I shall be gone by the time Lady Zanna returns, kindly inform her that Lord Sammuelson Irum Me'arl has a little token of affection for her." he grinned, patting the parcel lightly.
"And Ray," Sim's tone sounding a little disappointed, "If my name proves too long, Sim will do." he winks before plucking the parcel back into his hand and prancing out of the shop.

"What's up?" Huni asked, leaning against the doorframe of Sim's room. She had noticed the teen arrive holding something in his hand and if it hadn't been because his polo shirt was covered in sequins, she would have thought he was glowing.
"Nothing much mother. Save for the fact I am going on a cruise!" Sim squealed madly, he definately resembled Huni in certain ways.
"Hold it! When did we decide this?" Huni frowned, folding her arms across her chest. "And who are you going with? And how long will you be gone, if I even let you go. I want details, young man."
Sim shuddered, "The role of matriarch does not suit you, mother. But I suppose you cannot help but worry for me, though you have little reason to do so." he softly added the last sentence with a sly grin. "I have been presented a ticket for a two week cruise from that drab-yet-interesting antique store you brought me to. Luck of the devil I suppose. The brochure's artistic presentation leads me to believe that it is indeed safe and shall be a most wonderful experience! And though it may pain you to be separate from me for so long, you must be strong!" he sighed dramatically.
"Besides, no expense shall be made on your part." he added brightly, "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to ransack your closets for any suitable luggage. You don't mind if I change it a bit, do you?"
"As if I had a choice..." Huni sighed, "I got a feeling that lemon yellow suitecase Addy gave me is just the thing you'll need." she chuckled and went off to fetch it.
"And if you have a darling feathery hand-carry bag that would be marvelous too!!" Sim called out after Huni. "Now what else shall I bring? Oh that darling feather boa I just bought, and maybe some casual clothes... and spats!" he giggled maniacally.

The fool has left, let us hope he doesn't return... he's too annoyingly bright! He'll bring good cheer to this house... and I've worked too hard on ruining the positive atmosphere around Huni to let some sap just prance in and turn everything upsidedown!
Master Sim is on a voyage, let us hope he returns safely... he seems too careless that he may hurt himself. And even in his brief stay here, he has already endeared himself to Madam Huni. She had said how she sees so much of herself in him, I truly pray that he will not undermine whatever happiness he had brought.
Brother Sim is not here, did he have to go away like mommy did? Let us hope that he'll come back soon... I want to play with him some, maybe we can play theatre instead of baking. He can be the costume designer, because mommy says he has an exen... eksen... eccentric taste in clothing.
Sim went on a cruise and as much as I'd like to go with him, I can't bear to leave Khun Ying and everyone else again. Marl had told me that Strawberry and Vael had to be cared for by someone else. And even though I don't remember them, it hurts somewhat... Sim you'd better not be just a figment of my imagination! I'm not ready to be committed into an asylum!

Sim had arrived at his room, realizing that he has yet to meet his room mate, but at the moment he didn't particularly care. He was alone, free to be himself, free to shed off the fool's guise, and free to take the time to evaluate what he had experienced and encountered. He grabbed his neon orange notebook and began to write his thoughts down in his journal.Sim From what I observed, there was a tension between Doll and Shii, and I gather that Fluff is caught in the middle of things. Oooo, juicy gossip must be had! But who can I draw it from? Doll and Shii will most certainly refrain from telling me about it, given that, well, as endearing as I am, I haven't endeared myself enough to merit such intimate information. Fluff no doubt will know very little, or any at all. Lady Z is more of the sort to keep secrets rather than disclose them. Sir Nigel is definately out of the question, he refers to Doll as 'princess' for crying out loud, whatever is wrong with that boy?
Hmmm, what of Scarlet? Would she know anything about this most interesting story? I shall attempt on the morrow. Right now, it is time for me to rest. With a wide yawn, Sim hid his journal, dressed himself for bed, buried himself beneath the sheets and drifted off to sleep.

((Saint Patrick's Day RP)) Huni Pi Sim yawned and stretched, dressing himself in the nightdress he brought to the cruise. Dessert and the activities after that had exhausted the teen, and being up earlier than usual had taken its toll on him. He flopped down onto the bed, curled against his blanket and was soon fast asleep.
There was a hazy sensation at first, as if he was being carressed with a million cotton swabs. He eopened his eyes and was startled to find himself in a glade.
"Good heavens, where am I?" he blinked, sitting up and realizing he was dressed in a brown jumper, on top of a black and white polka-dotted shirt. His feet were clad in heavy, black boots used more commonly by miners. On his hands were a pair of bright flourescent pink wrist bands, and his orange kerchief was wrapped around his suddenly short-cropped hair.
"Hmmm, I suppose this little number will have to do..." he sighed, eyeing his clothes warily. He began to wander further into the Glade, then noticing other Simus were present. "Hmmm, what sort of cast am I before?" he murmurs to himself, hiding behind one of the stone statues.
Sim had been greatly amused ever since Yeste' found the clover, the red head simply chuckled to himself as he watched the teen growl about having to 'kiss' someone. Although he couldn't blame her, having hormones and the like raging through one's system and all that, it would surely lead to something else.
He grinned to himself, spying Zanna and the others he knew. But why ruin a perfectly entertaining scene as it is? He seated himself down, onto the grass, noting how his brown jumper wouldn't suffer from the dirt. He truly was a fashion genius!
"Now if I only had something to nibble on..." he murmured, resting his chin against his palm. Lenachan358 Kyoko instead wasn't fond of this screaming and yelling, knowing that control over such a situation was still a little bit too hard for her. So she looked around and found a bright dressed one sitting alone nearby. The teenager strolled over and as she came closer, she noticed that he had to be about her age. "May I sit down with you ?" Kyoko asked politely and sat down beside him without waiting for an answer. "I'm Kyoko, how about you ?" Huni Pi Sim continued to lounge about as Kyoko sat down beside him, he turned to her and flashed a most brilliant smile. "Why hello, deary, what brings you to my humble section of whatever and wherever this place is?" he asked, batting his eyes in exaggeration. Lenachan358 Kyoko looked at the colorful one and smiled. "Actually boredom." She wasn't usually one hiding from the crowd, but it was easier to concentrate on one person. This one seemed incredible interesting though. "This is called a glade." The teen stated and played with her necklace, while staring at his clothes without any embarrassement. "You're dressed pretty...unusual. Who bought this stuff for you ?" Huni Pi Sim looked miffed at the word 'unusual', "I prefer to use interesting as a means of reference towards my apparel, thank you very much!" he huffed, adjusting his brown jumper and miner boots. "Well I suppose not everyone is as enlightened about fashion as I am, so I forgive you, Key-chan." he grinned, "I am Lord Sammuelson Irum Me'arl. But many choose to call me by my preferred sobriquet of Sim." he explained, leaning back against the statue. Lenachan358 Kyoko raised an eyebrow and surpressed a laughter as she watched his gestures. "Interesting then, Sim." For a moment or two she wondered about the strange way of addressing her as Key-chan, but she didn't say another word about it. The teen was more interested to find out more about this rainbow bird. "So what do you think about this festival so far ?" Huni Pi "I'm only thankful this outfit is just all in my mind and this is all but a dream. Why else would I be dressed in such a... plain attire?" Sim drawled, running his fingers over his short cropped hair. "Although..." he grinned, glancing at Yeste', "It did have its interesting moments." he nodded sagely. Lenachan358 Kyoko just nodded, a little bit confused about Sim. He seemed kind hearted though, although strange. Perhaps it was good to be nice...So she reached out for his clothes and looked at them more precisely. "I think they're quite alright then. What's your favourite colour? Huni Pi Sim quirked a brow at Kyoko as she reached out for his clothing, instinctively he moved away from her, holding up his hand in front of him defensively. "Key-chan, it would be in both our best interest if you would never attempt to touch my clothing without my expressed permission. It is simply not done with me." he explained solemnly, "And as for my favorite hue, well, truth be told I have none. There is little reason to lean towards one particular color if they all look fabulous on me!" he trilled brightly. Lenachan358 If it hadn't been obvious...Kyoko was very amused by Sim's behaviour and regarded him as a funny companion, if nobody else was around. But now her brother and another male had appeared and there was a distraction. "Sorry..." She said quietly, still meaning Sim before getting up. "I think we already saw each other earlier today, Ronin. But just...for a few moments..."
Control, Kyoko, control ! A voice in her head tried to tell her but it didn't work. She smiled slightly, but was very confused. Oh he looked even better than she had thought the first time. A lot like nature, she liked nature. Huni Pi "Why hello, Riri! Oh wait, as I recall you prefer to be addressed as Ray..." Sim sighed, "Whatever happened to your hands? Did you take the liberty of etching in your own tattoo? That's a very bold move!" he smiled in approval, "But did it truly have to be in the same tree-theme?" he chuckled to Kyoko. Kaekia Ardre giggled slightly as the other teens kissed, and shyed away, somewhat afraid of getting in their way. She desperately wanted to kiss and be kissed, but everyone seemed just as shy as her, and Ardre doubted that she could trust her confidence enough to force herself to do so. And so, she wandered to where the others had gathered around the oddly dressed Simu, his bright, bright aura so loud and outgoing Ardre could almost see it. She stood on the outskirts of the group, just looking in, and not wanting to interupt. Huni Pi With so many Simus gathered around him, one would think Sim was enjoying himself. To an extent he was, but the teen felt out of place in such an environment such as the glade. He didn't show it though, he kept his affable expression on, orange eyes tapered into jovial slits. But he still kept his attention on his surroundings. Particularly of Yeste and Itsuki, or at least he tried, if the distinct colors of Ardre hadn't drawn his gaze.
"Why, hello there!" Sim greeted, standing up from his seated position. "Pardon me for a moment, Key-chan, Sir Nigel, Ray," he gave extra emphasis on the last word, before heading towards the other Simu. "Mmm, where do I begin?" he squealed in anticipation, "Loves, your hair is just... simply all that! You must tell me who does your do." Kaekia A smile appeared on Ardre's face, her reaction to the other Simu being just that. A smile that someone had noticed her, a smile of his bright demeanor, his flashy clothing. "My hair?" Ardre repeated, running her fingers through it with one hand. "I've never had it... done," She replied, a wee bit embarrassed, and feeling as though she was out of othe loop. "I've never really had it cut," Ardre went on, "Just trimmed it when it got in my way, or got things in it." Her curly locks had been an inheritance from Hoshi and Shina, and thinking back, the teen couldn't help but remember that the girl in her dreams had had golden, waved hair as well. "Am I doing something wrong?" Huni Pi Sim was practically gawking at Ardre when she mentioned she never had it 'done.' One hand resting on his hips, the other pressed against his chest, Sim's expression changed into a mixture of awe and delight. "Do you mean to say that you're a natural? If you weren't so fabulous I could hate you," he stated without so much as batting an eye. "And NO you're not doing anything wrong. In fact whatever it is you're not doing, it works! I can't even begin how difficult it is to maintain my hair." he sighed, removing his orange kerchief from his head to reveal his short cropped hair.
"I'm not particularly aware how my locks shrank since I distinctly remember having longer hair before I slept. But if this is all a dream, then it doesn't really matter, but frankly I've never had a dream quite as realistic as this." Kaekia Ardre couldn't help a laugh, as she released a small amount of tension she had been holding in the form of a breath. "Then I'll continue not doing what ever it was I should have been doing in the first place," she joked and then quickly surveyed the hair of the other Simu, who she was beginning to feel more and more comfortable and relaxed around. "I can't admit to knowing much about hair, but I like the color," Ardre said truthfully, with a grin. "It suits you." The color actually remembered the teen of a fox's coat, and the flowers that birds loved in their nests. "That's really weird, though, about your hair. I don't think this is a dream, at least not for me," Ardre said, but then that didn't make any sense. How could it be a dream for the other Simu, but not for her? Suddenly, Ardre realized she had never introduced herself, and didn't even know the other's name. "I'm Ardre, by the way." Huni Pi "Of course you would, few can deny that what I have on my person doesn't suit me." Sim beamed with pride, flicking off imaginary dirt from his colorful shirt.
"I am Lord Sammuelson Irum Me'arl, but many choose to address me simply as Sim. It's darling to make your acquaintance, Ari." Sim nodded, bowing and straightening up as he tied his kerchief around his head in one smooth motion.
"So this is not a dream for you?" he blinked, tapping his chin thoughtfully, "Huh... most peculiar indeed because for all I know I'm still on a cruise, asleep after a most delicious -but figure conscious- meal. Astral projection perhaps? Although I'm not quite certain what that pertains to as mother only mentioned it in passing during our shopping spree..." he wondered and pursed his lips in thought. Kaekia Ardre laughed once again, and looked down at her cotton dress, to assure herself that she hadn't spilled on it yet. She didn't wear it a lot, but it meant a lot to her, for it was a relation to her dreams and childhood and memories, or some reason. "A pleasure to meet you, as well, Lord Sim," 'Ari' giggled. "What are you the lord of?" She questioned, curtsying to him as she had to Ray. The teen couldn't quite keep up with what Sim was saying next, and merely dwelled on one phrase as the other thought out loud. "Astral projection? That sounds really interesting, you don't know what it is?" She guessed that astral usually meant with the stars, and her father was an expert on stars, yet he had never mentioned that before. Huni Pi "Lord of? Why the walkways and catwalks and the ramps and the whole fashionably gaudy world of fashion!" Sim declared, striking a pose similar to the models he saw in some of Huni's old fashion magazines. "And a little realm somewhere in the back of my head but whatever else about it escapes me and it's not all that important." he adds in one breath.
"And as for Astral projection, it involves the body and the spirit being in different places. Although for the life of me, I can't even begin to fathom how that works." he chuckles. Kaekia "If you're Lord of the Runway, then I must be Dutchess of the Forest," Ardre joked, laughing with Sim. She had found that she did a lot of laughing around Lord Samuel, more than around most of the others. "Maybe you could come visit me sometime in my wooded palace, and give me some fashion advice." Though thinking on it now, perhaps Sim wasn't the one that most resembled Ardre's taste. It could still be fun. Ardre blinked, her eyes drifting as she came to imagine how that could possibly work. "I envy anyone who has powers like that," she finally admitted, shaking her head. Huni Pi "The forest?" Sim blinked, he wasn't all that comfortable in nature, or the outdoors. But it wouldn't stop him from going, inconvenient or not, Sim liked it when people believed in his fashion sense. Just in his fashion sense, anything else made him uncomfortable. "Well it's a good thing you informed me ahead of time, else I might arrive in chifon, lace or in other materials that risk tearing and being caught on a stray branch." he chuckled. "And Ari, I would simply die if you won't let me give you some choice fashion tips! I am, after all, a fashion savant!"
Sim listened and observed Ardre as she spoke her thoughts on Astral projection, "Hmm, I don't. I mean, the spirit can't wear clothes, at least I don't think it can. And if we can't wear clothes, then we'd all be naked! And... there's nothing fashionable about being naked if everyone's... well... naked!" he exclaims. Kaekia "Oh, we don't have to go into the forest," Ardre admitted with a smile. "Outdoors is just where I feel the most comfortable." It put a damper on things that he didn't even seem to like nature, but Ardre was definitely having fun talking to this Simu. The teen giggled as she thought of everyone in the world being naked, and shook her head with a laughing, sour face. "I guess we should all stick to clothes then, huh?" A slight shadow, cast from a cloud shifting over the sun, caused Ardre to look up, noting the position. It had been much longer than she had thought, and she had promised Hoshi that she wouldn't stay long. "I'm so sorry, Samuel, but I need to go," she said. "Look me up in the directory, and call or stop by some day." And with that, Ardre was nearly running towards the entrance, worried about letting down her beloved father. Sim waved goodbye at the retreating figure of Ardre, now here was a Simu he felt relaxed with. The fool's guise came natural with her around, unlike with Zanna that he had to be consciously aware of what it was he was saying and how he was saying it.
He would have stayed longer had he not been abruptly awaken while on the cruise ship.

The handwriting was almost illegible, and some of the pages were riddled with holes. But Sim had persevered in writing his random thoughts out in his Journal. To the red head, he could make out every single word, woe be to the poor fool that tries to read this particular entry...The horribly difficult to understand entry that Sim Egads! I am cold, and wet, and hungry, but I am LOVING every single moment I'm experiences. Well, perhaps not the portion that I'm being ignored, then again, I'm not quite ready to be the topic of everyone's discussion just yet. I do wonder whatever became of the one they call Elijah. Perhaps some of the sea creatures have made him into a meal?
Speaking of meals, is no one going to at least attempt to gather something that is half-way edible? I am not ready to be relied upon! So perhaps I shall go forth and venture into the uncertainty and darkness! I am simply desperate for a meal... be it bloody and raw and full of who-knows-what sort of parasites!
In any case, that is certainly more appealing than remaining here upon this beach in my plain white unmentionables. Speaking of my clothings, thankfully no one has asked me about the miniature outfits I brought. And I do wonder why it hurts so much whenever I manipulate the clothing... it certainly did not pain me when I played with Lady Z's bandanna... oh pshaw! Who gives a whiff about her now, certainly not me! Unless she decides to apologize for ruining my boa. If only I could fix it myself...

Huni had left the antique shop and ran straight home to make a checklist for what she needed. Clean clothes, a first aid kit, the S-Tones and food were written on the list. She tapped her chin thoughtfully, glancing to see if Marl was nearby.
The medusa slithered by, talking softly to Khun Ying when he sensed Huni looking for him. "Yes?" he purred, draping an arm over Huni's shoulders. "Is there anything we may assist you with?"
Huni read the tentative supply list to Marl and Khun Ying, "I need inputs, what else do you think I should bring for Sim when we find him?" she asked, trying to keep the panic from her voice.
Khun Ying sniffed at the list, and tried her best to phantomime the fashion magazines she had seen in her brother's room. She opened and closed her paws in the fashion of a book, then nudged at Huni's clothing until her mother understood.
"You could also benefit from bringing a knife to defend yourself and some rope." Marl suggested.
Huni nodded as she listed their suggestions, "Okie, I'm going to look for these and pack them up. Wish me luck as we'll be leaving tomorrow to look for Sim and the others."
"Be careful, Huni." Marl warned, hugging the red head as if trying to protect her.

The house had grown silent, as many places do come the wee hours of two in the morning. Huni had finally managed to fall asleep while Marl was in his room snoring. Malady was who-knows-where, lurking amidst the shadows, and not causing anyone any problems. Though many of the household denizens wonder whether the Intangible ever slept at all. Khun Ying was asleep as well, dreaming of recipes and other culinary concotions.
The only figure disturbing the stillness was in his multi-colored, excruciatingly clashing bedroom. Sim was still awake, though he was lying on his bed, completely stripped of clothing. The polka-dotted curtains were drawn closed, the door was locked and the lights (which he had taken the liberty of covering with celophane) had been shut off.
In the utter darkness of his room, Sim was struggling to breathe.
His chest heaved, his ribs felt like they were on fire and each gasp of air seemed to fan the flames. A million pin-pricks danced across his arms, stopping just short of his shoulder blades. His brow was matted with sweat, as his fingers clenched and unclenched involuntarily. His legs kicked against the cotton sheets, heels slamming against the mattress as if in a seizure.
With a strangled cry of pain forcing its way out of his throat, he arched his body upwards. In the instant his back left the bed, the bedsheets shot out and wrapped themselves around the teen. The fabric entwined itself all over Sim, twisting and knotting, covering every inch of his flesh.
Sim wanted to die.
But death would not visit the teen, at least not at this point in time. While the sheets tightened around his body, relief began to course through his veins. Once his breathing returned to normal and his body ceased its writhing, the wrappings unfurled and returned to their original form of bedsheets.
