"Woah, Audric, relax! We have plenty of time, and anyway, I doubt anything will happen even if we are late." He smiled calmly. They didn't have that much time, but he couldn't freak out, alongside the other boy, or they'd probably end up getting lost. He had to conventrate. It couldn't be that hard, could it?
"Yikes." It wasn't the getting lost and wandering around that struck him -it was the 'passing out' part that hit home. He'd been having some trouble with that lately; something he'd rather not admit aloud. Just stay calm. "Don't worry about it. I promise to get us out of here safe."
Katsuo quietly accepted the cell phone and looked at the buttons for a while before pressing anything. "It's a bit different from mine, but..." He clicked twice, and the ground in front of him appeared on the tiny screen. "There we go! Just go to the menu here, and you can go straight to the phone from there."
"Smile, Audric!" He turned the phone on himself and brought the other boy in by wrapping his arm around his shoulder.

Audric was lucky to have Katsuo with him, or else he would have had a complete freak out. Audric didn't get this crazy usually, but he hadn't actually been in this situation before. But Katsuo succeeded in calming him and Audric snapped back to his normal self. "Yeah, they probably wouldn't even realize we aren't in class." He said, thinking about one of his teachers who rarely looked away from the chalkboard.
"Don't worry, I trust you." Audric said as he followed closely behind the other boy. But he noticed an odd wabble Katsuo had in his walk. He wasn't sure if Katsuo always walked this way and he just hadn't noticed, or if something was wrong. Because of this, Audric stayed quiet.
Audric smiled wide as Katsuo grabbed him by the arm and yanked him into the picture. He was suprised by this and expected the picture to turn out horribly. But lo and behold, it was cute. Audric got the phone back from Katsuo and saved the picture as his wallpaper. He was slightly giddy since this was the first picture he'd gotten with one of the new friends he'd met in Japan. "Sweet! Now all I have to do is get out my phone whenever I need a pick-me-up." Audric said happily.

Katsuo had been in the 'almost late to class' situation a few times already, even though it was only his first year at Ouran. He'd learned to stop freaking out about it -especially in the maze, where one wrong turn could send you to a dead end with no way out. Relaxation was the key if you wanted to get out before the school day was done, let alone if you wanted to make it to class. "Not yet, anyway. If we're quiet enough, we might be able to stay that way. I'm sure the rest of the class will cover for you."
Of course, there were some exceptions to this rule, but with the rest of the class overruling their need to tell, it would probably be okay just this once.
"Easy enough, right? Now, I expect to find a lot of pictures on that phone the next time I see it." He smiled again, nodding his head with determination. If Audric couldn't get the pictures himself, no doubt he could get some help from the other students -the dragging people into pictures tactic seemed to work well enough.

Audric walked beside Katsuo as he scanned the surrounding greenery. Honestly, every turn looked like the last turn and that turn looked like every turn before it. But Katsuo seemed to know what he was doing so Audric was glad he didn't have to use his brain. This would certainly have fried it, and all Audric needed was his brain to be working even slower than usual!
When Katsuo mentioned the class would cover for them, it reminded Audric of a time during his first year at Ouran. Someone's cell phone was ringing, which equals bad since the teachers love to take them away. But the whole class started to sing the song that the person had as their ringtone, so the teacher never knew a cell phone was even ringing. He just thought his entire class was loosing its mind!
"Oh don't worry, I always pass things on the street that I want to take pictures of! Once I saw the sweetest cat..." Audric said, but then he trailed off because most guys didn't talk about cute little kittens.

Katsuo peeked around a corner to make sure than he recognized where they were going. So far, he was sure that they were on the right track. If all went well, in a few minutes, they'd be out of the puzzling maze. If all went well, that was. No, he told himself, it'd be fine. They wouldn't get lost. He knew his way around the labyrinth better than most people at the school.
He himself had had interesting experiences where the class as a whole had protected an individual. He found that it happened a lot during class discussions. Of course, he'd been guilty of it as well, telling people that were sitting him the answer to a question the teacher asked when they knew almost no one had been listening.
"All right. But just in case, I'll check to make sure." He grinned again, turning back to Audric. "Too bad you didn't know how to take pictures back then. I would have liked to see it." Apparently Katsuo wasn't in the know when it came to the whole 'not supposed to talk about cute things' deal.
