Yuki, you are right about the Da Vinci Code being more of a way to strengthen your faith rather than a source of information. However, I think it proves pointless to (for lack of a better word) negatize a lot of the theories in the book. I personally find them fascinating, even though I know that it cannot be true. It is a "what if" type plot, and there is a serious lack of good books like that out there. That said, the "what if" thing is all that it has going for it, since the book is not particularly well-written. (No character development, oh no!)

I really don't have anything to say on this thread, haven't actually read any good books lately, I'm just posting on everything thread on this guild's thread thingy.
So... yeah
All the books I'm reading are from school, and the "good ones" I got from Biology class... study of human evolution... bleh... however, my friend Jon (de mi escuela) has like a bazillion books on the topic of evolution and proof of why it's not true. I'll get a couple of those titles if anyone's struggling with the whole evolution crud like I am.
