I don't think it's Fluke, because the dog only went on an adventure to find it's human son from a past life.

I believe the dog is a mutt. I'll give you a few more clues, since the movies are relatively old (70s and 80s).
Well, it's none of the ones that you guys mentioned. It's not a cartoon. And they just made a new one within the past few years (2004), only they used a different dog either because the original was too old or had already passed away, I forget which one.
