What an odd, but completely wonderful, picture you've put in my head!!
The fingerless gloves would be all tattered and worn, holes in them from moments he got just a little too hungry. With a smile like his, the passer-bys will throw their monies from afar, get too close and they'll faint from sexy-overload!
Oh! If that's the case, then some fangirl would eventually hear of the handsome hobo from beneath the bridge and take him (read: kidnapp) to a good home.
And that, my good friend, would be the end of the Hobo Hiwatari.

I will cherish the image of Kai gnawing on his gloves forevermore.
Also Hobo Hiwatari = ftw
It almost makes you wonder- if it came between being a hobo with only articles of clothing to eat or being imprisoned by a rabid fangirl which would Kai choose?
Or, for that matter which would YOU choose?

Me thinks Kai would choose the Hobo lifestyle. Or maybe he could go with said fangirl, knock her out, steal her foodz and go back to beneath the bridge and feed his critter friends. Kai is an overachiever like that. (If fangirl were to return, the whiskey bottle would have to turn into a weapon of death!!)
Any lesser being would chose imprisonment by the rabid fangirl. I, on the other (tattered gloved) hand, would chose the hobo life style, spending my days inside a cardboard box and cruising around in a Wal-mart shopping cart. I would encounter many adventures, and many vermin, but at least it would make a good story to tell when I die outside the local Piggly Wiggly's. That is a much better fate than dieing in a fangirl's closet/basement/attic/other horrible, lonely, and uneventful place.
Now, more importantly, what would yours choice be? :3

Actually depends whether the rabid fangirl was simply rabid or was lecherous XD
If only rabid then all I really would have to do is continue to look devastatingly attractive (lol) in order to be fed and worshipped etc etc. Which, all in all doesn't sound like a bad life, really.
If said fangirl was unable to keep her hands to herself then it would all depend on whether she was also devastatingly attractive(unlikely).
Not much of a fan of the idea of a hobo-lifestyle, actually. I hate feeling dirty and hungry and somehow I don't think hobos get their showers regularly. Plus I'm a world class klutz so I would fail at stealing food etc and somehow I don't think that my devastatingly attractive self would be up to the challenge of begging XD

Well, there's always plenty of rivers to jump in if a shower is needed and homeless shelters for food/ temporary housing.
Pand would be the most devastatingly attractive Hobo I'd ever seen! You probably wouldn't have to beg for dough, it would be thrown at you! ;3

Well, my rivers are nice and clean. : D And if you bath in the winter, you can get a "Polar Bear Diving" shirt. xD A fifth limb could come in handy, just incase you lose one in a bizzare icecream truck accident.
