(Sorry this took me longer than i thought it would D: heart )
Sawa gave an appreciative laugh and shook his head slightly. "Well, it do be qui' a bi' dangerous a' times bu' the two legs usually seem more 'fraid ah us than I be o' them. Course, tha' do no' mean I do no' be afrai' of their sticks an' o'er things tha' 'urt." He watched as she ate the meat, pleased she'd accepted. His gaze flicked around to try and guess just how close the watering hole was, if perhaps he could see it. "Ah, well I do no' wan' tha." He said pleasently, wincing again as he stood. Cleaning it a little extra would be okay, it wouldn't do to be a traveler with an infected side.
Sawa started to laugh again and shake his head. "Nah, yeh go'it wrong. Siyo an' me ea' tha' sometimes, bu' mostly we jus' scavange. I mean... we do 'unt, sometimes." He thought his insides might shrivel up if he ate the strange two-leg food all of the time.

Auri couldn't help the smile that curled her lips upward at his quick assurance to say that he was not afraid of the two leggers' weapons, or lack of them. She just nodded along and finished most of her meat.
"Well, whenever you're finished, I can show you where the water hole is and we'll wash that wound of yours. Infection can be bad news for any lion, especially if it doesn't heal right."
So they hunted, but only sometimes? Scavenging didn't sound like much a life to her. But she couldn't judge; she'd always have a good amount of food handy at home. Perhaps he and Siyo weren't that lucky.
But she just smiled, and led the way to the watering hole when he was done. Then they would part ways, probably. She would wish him luck and health on his journey. Who knows; perhaps they would meet again.
