What if we had a list of websites for other wiccan groups, or a certain wiccan writer. I know of two already. If the GL wants, I can PM them to you

That's a great idea! I'll get something set up in The Library within the next couple of days. smile

Doing things as a community in Towns would be a great idea. Like celebrations, trash pickup days for the Gaia community, hide-and-seek with rewards, other games, etc. Or we could band together some talented people and hold a fundraiser sort of event for a charity of the guild's choice via poll.

We usually do town stuff during our Sabbat celebrations (or other guild events), we've got our Ostara/Mabon one coming up soon, so there will probably be something going on then.
Though I know a lot of people have been staying away from towns lately due to the high incidences of hackers and scriptors that have been plaguing the area. Also as of the last few months all trash, bugs, etc... have been turned off in towns, so there isn't much to pick up at the moment. gonk
I know at one point we were supporting a Charity thread (Val's I think), not sure if it's still active or not. But maybe starting a guild run charity for our members is a possibility.

To go along with what Brandi said, we have sponsored three charities in the past, all of which are closed down.
We are discussing starting our own guild charity, and expanding The Moonlight Market to make it better/cheaper for you guys. biggrin

I'd be willing to help with a guild charity Maybe the guild could profit from making a partnership deal with a popular Gaia minishop. Such as we spotlight the minishop on our guild's front page if they give us a percentage of the profit from selling a certain minishop item, to fund contests and the such?

I think that's a great idea. Though, I don't see why it'd have to be just one minishop. We could feature a couple. On a related note, if we get minishops to offer prizes for some of the guild's contests that would 1) save some of the guild's gold and 2) be great publicity for the minishop itself. That's my idea for the day.

I'd be willing to provide monetary support for charities/contest prizes. Maybe 2% of my bump shop's profits for as long as it's featured, and a couple free readings from my tarot shop for contests (that's extra gold in the guild's pocket). Anything that can help. heart

My great idea for the day (assuming it hasn't been suggested yet) would be a zOMG! clan, guild-members only.

Problems with that, that I see: 1.)How many guild members play Zomg? 2.)What about guild members that already have a clan? 3.)Would we exclude other people that wanted to join the clan? Or would they have to join the guild first?

I figure that players would have to join the guild first, if it was a guild clan, but that's just me. Of course, it wouldn't be mandatory, so if people already had a clan they preferred, then they could stick with that one. I just have a hard time finding a good clan, and this is the only guild I've ever been able to feel accepted in. I know a lot of other users feel that way about this guild. I'm personally not a good team player, for the most part, but I do very well in this guild's user atmosphere.

I'm not sure how many members actually play the game. I know I don't. I think Brandi has a clan for the guild that she owns. But if anyone else wants to start up a clan for the guild, go right ahead. smile
Or I could try to set one up on the guild mule, but I wouldn't have to time to get on and play at all.

I agree with KillerBash.
I have a suggestion... With the newspaper and events you make sure to include the southern hemisphere (Which I'm really thankful about as quite a few places forget U_U wink but the materials for spells and the like... well sometimes they have objects/ingredients/materials that you can't find in places like Australia. Perhaps someone out there might be able to edit a few of these things to make it easier? That's if there is another Southern Pagan in this guild... I haven't found any. sad
