I'm horrible at shooters. I've got the game, but I'm so afraid that I'll be horrible at it that I've yet to play it. xd

I completely agree XD While I don't despise her, like I do Aeris, I don't think that she ever deserved Vincent. He loved unconditionally, she didn't seem to care, and look where it got him... She did say all those sorries, but that can only go so far. The deed is still done, and she has to live with it... part of me doesn't think that she has the right to ask for forgivness. She could at least accept that she did it, useless sorries aren't helping, it's too late....

In all fairness you did say that your hatred may come from the fact that he gets a little to much air time... as his own game.... XD I don't think that naiveity is an excuse, all that does is leave you alone. If I was in that situation, I could ask for forgiveness, hell I could even be granted it, but it wouldn't matter, I wouldn't accept it. In the type of world she was living in, innocence is far from what I can let her half, it makes no sense to me, there is that line between overly trusting people and just being stupid- not naive... I could never bring myself to think it as tragic, again, I felt almost nothing for her... no pity, no love, she barely exists in my mind... so I suppose that yeah, for me she is forever guilty and alone, who knows, maybe I prefer leaving it at that. But biases come into effect, with you Vincent, and with me... if I ever put a whole lot of thought on her, Lucrecia. If anything, because of how I have not bothered about her terribly, my opinion can be negated XD But it doesn't bother me much >.o I am confusing myself XD

I don't doubt it. Lucrecia didn't strike me as a mean or cruel individual. Misguided? Yes. But not mean or cruel.

I remember Vincent yelling at Hojo for what he did to Lucrecia. That's about it when it comes to lines though. And I did keep Vincent in my party for the whole game for one slot.

What about Lucrecia saying that she wanted to prevent Vincent's flesh from decaying. .. saving his life basically, and that's why he has the chaos genes? Her saying it's all her fault... her apologizing? It's not right to hate some-one for that. ><; I think, anyway. It's selfless on Vincents part to NOT hate her especially.
I think one of the saddest scenes, is when Vincent is walking from the cave with Lucrecia in it, and a tear falls down her cheek. DXX -sniffle-
Tragic loves stories are so heart-wrenching... why do I like them? XD

Hmm... The only Vincent quote I like is: "I don't care about what you're doing, or the way you're going about doing it."
Something like that...

It was hard for me to keep Vincent in my party. I didn't like him, lol. HeBOTHERED me. >_>;
I guess maybe if you keep him in your party the whole time, he uh... gets a bit more "screen time" and then maybe I guess, he might seem like he would deserve a whole game based after him. *coughNOTcough*

I actually like Vincent when he's his normal, human self. Really shy and timid--- kinda like Cloud was when he was young. xD It was actually sad for me though, when Vincent got shot. That was pretty terrible. ;_;

And when you said you were mad at Lucrecia for yelling at him--- it's not just ALL about Vincent's feelings you know. D: Lucrecia has feelings too. She wanted to hide the things about his father from him. And, I do truly believe she wanted to prevent more sorrow from accompanying him--- but she kept failing. I think that's kinda sad. And you know, she wasn't yelling at him like she wanted to. You could hear her voice breaking, as if she were about to cry. :/

"I finally realized my true feelings... even though you may never understand them. Not that I mind though... However--"

"This isn't the way it was supposed to be. I've made too many mistakes... And I hurt you so much. Ugh.. why did I do what I did?! I'm so sorry... "

"Although the moments we shared are short, they are meant to be cherished."

"But I am so happy that... you survived."

Lucrecia: "It's all my fault... I never meant for your father to die... but I... I'm so sorry!"
And then, Vincent says: "But I never blamed her. All I wanted... was to see her smiling face... But after that day, the light left her heart."

I find it ODD that when Hojo says, "So you've come to your sense and chosen me?"
Lucrecia says "Yes, doctor."
And she sounds nearly insane, her smile is even crazy. O_O; It looks like this definitely isn't what she wants. Especially after Vincent says the light left her heart.

"No... this is no experiment!"
Lucrecia says this and starts crying on the floor of her lab, after Hojo claims that she is experimenting on Vincent to prove her thesis, rather than preserve his body.

KTHNX, whoever says Lucrecia doesn't care about Vincent. -roll-
And that "Sorry" isn't good enough.
And that Lucrecia INTENTIONALLY tried to hurt everyone.

And if you think Lucrecia doesn't care about her children, her shaking Hojo screaming and crying "Give him back! Give my son back!!!"
Doesn't mean anything? :/

Know I find really strange? Lucrecia says:
"How're you supposed to be my bodyguard, if you're out sleeping out here?"
Anyone sense a common theme?!! XDDD

I'm resting my case here folks. If you still hate her after all of this crap I just posted, SEEK MENTAL HELP! :giggle: Not really. But I still don't get you. xD

Needless to say, Yuffie b***h-slapping Shelke is the best part of DOC.

Well...yeah, I suppose I'm a bit critical towards Lucrecia and of course, I'm not entirely out of sympathy for her, still, I just can't LIKE her or respect her. DoC had its fun creating her character, making her seem sorry for her actions...which is great and all....but I can't help but feel that it was just to shove in our faces. Usually...once I dislike a character, I continue to dislike them. (Like Aeris. I respect her, but I don't necessarily like her) Since we don't see much of Lucrecia in FFVII, we're forced to accept this character of hers.....that she's actually a compassionate woman who's afraid of hurting others but ends up hurting everyone unintentionally. In FFVII we are given the impression that she was cruel, leaving Vincent for Hojo and then giving up her boy.....then we find her in the ice cave where she expresses her regrets and stuff...but she's aloof about it rather than crying her heart out and saying "Sorry" all the time. It's hard for me to like her really.
