Van pulled two of the adamantine daggers to his hands in an instant. This wasn't the friendly greeting he had hoped it would be. "I don't think that now is a good time for introductions." The shrill siren rang painfully through his ears. Van tried to concentrate on another sound in the area but all he heard was the unpleasant sound of weapons arming.

Abel turned on the spot and when the alarm went off. They had detected his cybernetic signature and had deployed. The white suited guards he recognized as the average cyborg guard, nothing to worry about they were the worst shots he had ever seen. The problem was actually the turrets and the big guys. He recognized them as the Adaptus Labrynthus, though he had not though them to be ready for use yet.
"Oh is this all for me? I am honoured that you pulled out the red carpet. Mr.Goldwind, I know you must be watching this so let me give you my salute."
Able then flipped off the nearest camera so that the guy would know that he was not in the mood for games. These things he had sent out were powerful sure but at the moment had only a one track mind. His capture at all costs. He then took out both his guns pointed them at the closest guards and smirked.
"Bring it."

Erica twitched at the other one, Anysi, then kicked one of her knives at him. She pointed to herself "Erica." Then to each of the Miffles "Locke, Shock, Barrel, Jack" then to each of the raptors "Oogie, Boogie," and then up to the Liger that towered over them, "Squee." after picking up her small arsenal of weaponry aside from an uzi and her trusty Saladmaster frying pan. "Got it? Good. Don't forget it." Erica said huffily. She didn't take well to getting yelled at, nor to the now ear-piercing siren that now mocked off.
After Abel flipped off the camera, Jack flipped an ear and sliced open the camera, while Locke nudged Erica onto Oogie's back. Squee, the ten-story high bohemoth that he was, opened fire on the troops and the building. Erica didn't know exactly what kind of guns were on her walking catgun, but they were big. A large one in its mouth was firing what looked to be a beam of blue light that fryed things in its way. meanwhile about twenty rapid-fire smaller guns shot at the soldiers. It bolted forward at the center of the assault, its claws lighting up and slashing at whatever was in its way, whilst a laser on the back of its tail shot smaller, more concentrated shots much like the ones coming out of its mouth. Various other sorts of guns and rocket launchers came from other various sections of its body, making for a wonderous slaughter. It was a nice initial assault, but soon began to tire, and was not invincible. A wonderful dent, but nothing that did much to cut through the insane defenses.
Erica looked at Abel, and screamed above the explosions. "If you want it to explode, now might be the best time to do it!" She pulled herself up onto Oogie's back, and now sat proudly, wielding a pan and an uzi, she was as armed as she felt she needed to be. The Miffles perked up with Van, and Shock hopped in front to the forwarding soldiers. The other three Miffles followed behind, flexing sharp claws while they inspected over the knives in their paws. A low purr emitted from the raptors as Boogie stood guard in front of Erica, and Oogie stood low, posed defensively, its bladed tail curled in front of the crazy vampire.
Erica waited for Abel's orders as her creations protected her, and Squee made a dent at the building's defenses.

The soldier braced for impact as the cat-mech fired off. The building took it's own defensive measures. The air shifted and became nearly solid, detonating the solid ordnance on impact, as the light blue energy shield dissipated the super-sonic ammunition.
When no impact came the soldiers in the windows opened fire, blanketing the area with screaming energy death, passing easily through the backside of the light blue energy shield on the building.
The building meanwhile was busy preparing it's own counter attack, electricity sparked off the building as pools of cold liquid metals started to form across the courtyard, making a perimeter around the five intruders and their minions and forming inwards.

These guys were making it hard for Van to concentrate with their feeble attempts at breaking through to the building. He took a stance for a minute trying to ignore everything going on around him. Normally he would have put down his guitar and amp but the thought of losing either to the flow of metal was not a gleeful one. He had to reach the entrance but the metal was causing that to be come more impossible. Electrocution was not on his list of fun things I want to do before I die.
An idea finally struck van when he saw the trees behind him. "Well its better than nothing." In one fluid motion he unwrapped the chain from his waist and attached the special dagger to it. Van swung around the dagger and let it land into the soft wood of the tree. After managing that he used the tree to launch himself into the air towards the concrete just below the entrance.
As Van flew he soon realized he was falling short and that the guards were starting to take aim. He flung out his foot and used the head of the robot to propel himself to a safe landing after receiving a shock to the leg. Damn that hurt. He braced himself for a moment before lashing out at the guards with the adamantine dagger at the end of the adamantine chain.

Abel watched as the guy with the knife tried to attack the guards with a knife. He was either really brave or really stupid, he was going to get slaughtered at that rate. The only thing that can be done at that moment was to try to do something unexpected. He had an idea but he wondered how well it would work.
"Erica can you get those things back into that bag of yours? Now is not the time for them. I have a plan just follow my lead."
The truth was that he was just making this up as he went along but he was not going to be telling anyone that anytime soon. He instead put away his weapons and extended his arm so that he could grab onto one of the bigger guys. He then waited for Erica to grab onto him so they could escape the death trap.

Sorry I missed so much you guys. I got myself grounded for a week so yeah, I fell hell behind; didn't I? So yeah, I'm gonna make an entrance now. Neat huh?
Rikka held tightly to her sister's hand, her palms sweating with fear. She was terrified of this place, every cell in her being screaming to leave this place. She tightened her grip; they were inside the building so at least the worst might be over. "Risa--"
"Shh," Risa hussed. She blinked once, her eyes turning a vibrant silver as she watched the area. Whatever she was doing, it was strange. "A group will be coming down this way," Risa quickly took off down another hallway, taking paths that would be the least populated with guards, or at least covered with the white small fry. She wasn't in the mood to fight right now, but she was pissed off.
Risa skidded to a halt, and pulled out her white bow; firing a pure white bow down the hall way, as it connected with something. "The only thing I can't do," she said. "Is find that b*****d Khane. He better not be dead yet; I'm the one who will be doing that."
"Sister," Rikka whispered. Risa was scaring her, more than this building. Her heart was beating fast, "RISA!" she screamed, pointing down the hall. "I think something's coming!"
"Don't fail me now Khane," Risa commented. Risa eyes still burned with the power Khane had given her. She didn't want his blood, his power to fail before she had even gotten the chance to try it. "Come on you b*****d!" she shouted. "Hurry up and kill something before you really do die!"

Outside the building pure chaos had broken out. Three contingents of soldiers had come up, one from the rear, returning from a mission, and two from each side, being mobilized to flank the intruders. Everyone opened fire on the group as the electrified liquid metal continued to spread.
Inside the building, a Gun Drone dropped from the ceiling in front of Risa and Rikka, being deployed there to go join the main fight, id didn't recognize the two in front of it and opened fire, the left arm using a flame thrower while the right laid down fire from a chain gun.
And deep down inside the Omega Complex, the heart monitor attached to Khane's body's mono-toned drone of flat line was suddenly punctuated with signs of a heartbeat.
He opened his eyes, and realized where he was...
s**t.

Van's blade sliced through the guards like they were butter. They fell to pieces with every movement of the wrist Van jerked the chain with. "Will you guys stop dicking around and get up here." He was getting annoyed with how little they were doing. He didn't even know this Khane guy why should he care so much about saving his a**? Van's leg throbbed in pain from the previous shock. He was barely able to stand on it and his normal fighting style would be severely impaired, all he could do now was slice down the robot guards and wait for the others to reach the door so that they could get in.

Rikka gasped in surprise, jumping sideways just before she was about to be smashes to pieces. She didn't exactly understand why Risa cared so much about the scary devil man, but she would help her sister the best she could. She held out her arms, "Protect!"
White light glowed, and fine mist swarmed in front of the two sisters, protecting Risa from the fire blast. Rikka's arms however, were not so fortunate. She lowered them, black and smoking. "Risa!" Rikka shouted. "That thing isn't going to be easy to beat, we should just run for it!"
"Everything has a weak point!" Risa called. Risa reached out, grabbing her twins collar, pulling her back behind her. Risa tossed her bow to Rikka, surprised the girl had actually caught it; even with the burns. Risa spread her arms out. "I call upon the divine energy given to me by god," she said. "As the judge of everything that exists, I condem you to darkness!" Risa point her right arm at the gun drone, knowing fully well of the magical protection it held. Perhaps her powers would be enough to stop it, if not she'd try something else. A shot of light burst from her palm, shooting through the gun drone.

Erica nodded. "The Miffles, Oogie and Boogie can, but Squee can't." at the mention of themselves, the Miffles and Raptors shrank down back into figurines, and Erica swiped them up quickly, then grabbed ahold of Abel's arm.
She held on tight, and even tighter as they took off, because with the revival of Khane, the child inside of Erica twitched. Not a full contraction, just twitched, and Erica, looked a little bit healthier. Damn kid was like and effing mood ring for Khane, and it effected Erica more than anything.
Goddamn it Khane...you leave me for two days, and this is the present you leave me with?....stupid husbands, always the same, running off and having fun without me and leaving me with the mess.
Erica sighed, and held on for dear life onto Abel as she followed whatever he was planning.

Abel pulled both of them in out of the trap. As he approached the Adaptus Labrynthus he stuck out his foot and kicked the thing in the head. With the weight he was pulling and the speed that he was able to reel himself in he easily knocked the giant down. He landed on the guys chest and quickly lowered Erica down.
"Get a fair distance away or fight whichever, but if you get killed then I'd prefer to leave Khane where his is cause then he would kill me."
Abel looked down to the guard at his feet, he took out his gun and unloaded 8 explosive rounds into the things head, overkill sure, but it was needed for these things.

Ah, naievety. Erica listened, but didn't retreat fully. She shot at the 'holes' in the drone, places like joints, sensors, even trying shooting down the muzzle of one of the guns. Erica shot, and shot, and shot and shot, all the while ducking and dodging, and shooting and bapping. And damn she could run in platforms.

More guards kept pouring out, and any that weren't stabbed in the head or decapitated slowly pulled themselves together. A second gun drone rounded the corner, completing the pair.
The magic protection of the first gun drone nearly did it's job, deflecting the majority of the magic blast, but knocked the aiming slightly wonky for a second, before the AI compensated and brought it's weapons back to bear on the twins, the mini-gun arm turning into a Linebacker 5 inch auto-cannon, firing 5 inch wide explosive rounds at the sisters while continuing to pour on the flames.
Meanwhile, down in the Omega Complex, Khane's room was filled with air, and his new best friend walked in... or more so floated. Necros floated in the room, full of grins, and came up to the tank, waving a his brother.
"I see you are almost healed brother! This is wonderful! Mother and Father always told me you were a physical god, but this is astounding! We're going ot make such a great team you and I."
Khane stared blankly at his brother... Now was his chance. He plunged forward, blowing through the tank and biting down into his brother, ducking what blood he could get before collapsing on top of him. Alarms were sound, Khane was thrown into a new tank, the room was re-sealed, and the security access was restricted to only Arthur S. Goldwind himself, and Khane grinned as the psychic powers slowly manifested in him.

Van turned inside when he saw the guards forming again. When he looked though he didn't like what he saw. These things were big and looked like they could tear him apart with there barrage of bullets. it was obvious why they were called Gun Drones.
"Some things just have to be done the old fashion way." Van pulled the chain around his arm tightly to form an impregnable shield and took the Adamantine dagger into his hand. He charged after the machine. His legged protested with every stride with sharp twinges of pain that slowed him down. Come on you can do this. It was only a little shock you've taken worse than that. If not for yourself then for Ciara. Van blocked the bullets aimed at himself with his shield and then drove the dagger toward the large red sensor that seemed to show what the head was. The guards had fallen when they lost their head so maybe these would be the same. Nothing could withstand the cold adamantine in his hand, nothing that is except adamantine.
