Giving a slight frown the chikorita girl wondered why he was trying to hide his tail from her. She was starting to think this boy really didn't like her, but he had accepted the gift from her...so he must like her somewhat!

Moving back to be in front of him she plopped herself back into the sand box, she wasn't use to sitting still for long periods of time. She was getting antsy.
"Corbin? Oh yah he is a zangoose! He has lots of fur and a big fluffy tail!" she explained remembering when she had met Corbin for the first time. He had been cold towards her at first but they had become quite good friends by the end of their shopping trip.

Jayoku gave a soft giggle at the doctors comment. "well I believe anyone has the ability to drawn or create something artistic...if just takes practice is all." she explained looking to her little girl surprised she was still in the sandbox.

"Tyra likes to make jewelry, the kid kind of course. Though I can imagine she would want to go onto harder things..." she trailed off knowing harder meant more expensive things.

It wasn't as much the Tobias disliked her as much as it was he simply disliked most people. Though admittedly, the girl's initial loudness and boundless energy had put him on edge. Still, it wasn't as though he found the girl repellent. He was just drawn into himself and didn't like the prying or staring- even at his tail.

He stroked his short-furred tail unconsciously at the mention of this Corbin kids' big, fluffy tail. It must have been inconvenient to care for. Toby had all he could do fur-wise to brush the hair he had underneath his helm; he couldn't imagine have hair like that in other areas.

Still, the term Zangoose was unfamiliar to him. Thus far, he and Nikolai hadn't covered much for Pokemon- only a few of the initial 149 (Mew and Mewtwo excluded for now). They hadn't touch the next 100+ of the second generation, let alone any from the third. He merely nodded. He didn't care anyways...though maybe he'd ask Nikolai a little later on. Maybe.

"Zangoose? I...see" he said, nodding a bit. "...what's he like?"

He laughed a bit, rumpling his hair. Artistic? He doubted any doodles or pottery or anything he could make could be of artistic merit. "Clearly you've never seen my attempts." he laughed. As she mentioned her hybrid, Ian looked to the sandbox. Toby was still there too- not that surprising. He half-nodded at Jayoku's comment. "Hm, of course. She seems tenacious, someone who wouldn't be satisfied to stick with the easy route. She just has so much energy..." he smiled. It seemed he was running out of things to say. Still, the fact he did so well thus far was a miracle.

Tyra put a finger to her lower lip trying to find a good way to describe Corbin. He was a boy, obviously and had really neat eyes. Though some might of found them a bit disturbing to look at she could them quite interesting. Different things tended to catch her attention.

"Um...he says he likes to dance and listen to music...and ah...he is white and red and has long furry ears and grey purple hands." she explained though the description was a bit lacking.

Jayoku tried very hard not to laugh. Yes...Tyra didn't like the easy route. Even if she was doing something much harder than she needed too she stuck to it. Even after she showed the girl how to do it properly.

"She can be stubborn and..I hope that doesn't get her in trouble in the future." she giggled looking to the kids who were miraculously still talking.

Dance? That was a little strange. He always thought dancing was for girls. Beyond that, it always seemed silly that people would prance and flail about like that. It wasn't silly; it was stupid, in fact. But that would be rude to say out loud, right?

So he nodded. "Sounds neat." he mumbled. he was curious enough to want to meet the other, at any rate.

He smiled and closed his eyes, feeling perhaps a little sleepy from the combination of getting used to his new sleep schedule and the rigors of caring for a child. Still, he wasn't bored, per se, of ignoring her.

"Hm, kids are always finding some way to get in trouble whether it's because they're stubborn or curious or defensive or what. But...I'm sure you'll be able to handle whatever mess the little miss gets into. One can only hope anyways, right?" He let the conversation lapse into silence after his comment, not sure what to speak of next.

Tyra nodded her head, yes yes it was neat. Corbin was neat and so was Fenrir. Actually most everyone she had met was pretty cool.

"Yep all my friends are pretty cool, they all have something very special about them. Fenrir has such soft fur, Corbin with his fuzzy ears you have your neat bone helmet and club thingy." She said with a small rock on her heels. She pondered a bit about her something that made her special. She could think of her vines being pretty neat and her leaf...but they didn't seem all that special to her.

Jayoku nodded her head at his words, he was probably right. She certainly hoped he was right anyway, she feared trying to handle an angry Tyra. With those vines and everything. What would happen if her cute little girl became violent?

Looking over she decided maybe it was time to head home. She had finished most of the snacks herself moving to stand up she gave the man a smile.
"I think I am going to take Tyra home. The kids seem to be getting along alright. Do you want to try and set up another playdate for them?" She asked.

Special? Darn skippy. His bone club and helmet were special. They always would be. He was...pleased she understood that. She earned a few brownie points by that, even if it was not more than an innocuous observation. They were special. They were his. They were the only thing he had left of Her, of the Time Before. They saved his life.

He looked at the girl. He should offer something in return, right? Something about her that was 'special'. That was what people did, he'd observed. He examined her tacitly, trying to discern something about her. All he could think of...were those vines. They...they made him feel funny, but they were still special, right?

"...your vines are special." he said quietly.

Ian had never much worried what would occur if Tobias were to become violent. Admittedly, he'd already been bopped a few times with the bone club, but he never had a profound fear or anything.

He looked skyward. perhaps it would be prudent to go home. He still had to get some groceries while they were out too...

He turned to the woman and smiled. "Ah yes, it would be nice for them to get together again some time in the near future." he said, smiling.
