Well in my humble opinion Taiji sawada from the Japanese Metal band "X" is freakin amazing. there never be a pick in that man's hand x3. Most people don't think asians are any good at anything other than piano. He'll prove people who think that wrong smile

I'd say Robert Trujillio because he has the sweetest playing style and is still able to play a flawless bass part on Battery...

I'd say Alex Webester from CC/ Robert T. from Metallica and Ryan Martinie from Mudvayne are the best ones I've seen with fingers. I really haven't looked at them with picks although Tom Araya does a pretty good job with that and vocals too. I like Les Claypools' sound on his bass.
