Erebus, stared right back his sight not moving from his eyes, his mind boring into his soul.
"So do you wish to come clean in front of this god you humans fear? For this is you're darkest hour."
He smirked, not knowing what this human would do, would he try to be brave and not talk, would he try to show his loyalty to his wife, or would he break down begging to be shown mercy, telling everything.

Erebus smirked, he would have like this human, if he had not caught them like he did, but that happend so no it came to this.
"You forsake god in your time of need? Your not going to drop down on your knees and beg forgiveness? Oh well thats your choice, but if you tell me the truth, i'll make your death a quick and painless one."
He waited for his wife to get into the room, so she could hear what he had to say.

"Erebus," Derryk got his face a whisper away from the bars of his cell. "I could tell you everything you wanted to hear, I could tell you anything, I could tell it to you while dancing a jig and beating my meat and you would still not even dream of making it quick and painless."

Erebus, smirked. This man was to smart for his own good, this could be a good game of hardball but Erebus will be the victor.
"That is where you're wrong, really humans think they know everything, but really they don't know much at all."
Erebus grabbed the bars of the cell with his hands, he really was going to make it painless but now, it was a diffrent story.

Lady Nyx arrived to hear that Derryk was going to dance a jig and beat his meat and she laughed. "Milord, you wouldn't dream of having that human die naked for all to see would you? Besides, you are correct boy, it will NOT be painless or quick...I am sure he means to torture you until I break down and beg him to stop since he thinks you and I are lovers of some odd sort...I have no real use for humans, other than to feed from them...." Lady Nyx trailed off and looked at her husband, "Are you going to make me stand here and watch or do you wish to provide me a place to sit?"

He felt his eyes involuntarily widen. Erebus' hands were so close to his eyes. Too close. To back up would be a display in weakness, to remain would be foolish. Psh, choice made. Derryk stayed and nodded.
"Cocky bastards aren't we?"

Erebus, let his wife have the seat as he stood up and put his face right in front of Derryk's, he started into his eyes.
"You do realise that you'll die eather way I could just take the information from your mind right? So eather make it quick and painless or slow and painful those are your two options."
He then backed over to his wife, and dropped a hand onto her shoulder.

[Okay my last post of the night. Please don't go too far ahead without me.]
Damn. He forgot about vampiric abilities. Eh well, he wouldn't let the b*****d have the satisfaction of knowing he had broken him. Derryk would never believe that he could buy himself a painless death. Not with this guy. Not after what he had done.
"If you can do that," he said softly. "Why haven't you already?"

Lady Nyx smirked at the testosterone filled exchange. It was amusing to her that these two would banter back and forth this way. "Milord, why haven't you searched his mind...are you afraid of what you might find there?" She knew it was dangerous to taunt her husband but she also knew he would not have her killed because he wanted to keep her. She was beautiful and brilliant and a perfect trophy wife. She knew that he must have decided that taking Derryk away from her would control her...would keep her in her place rather than off galavanting around with humans. If only he truely loved her, Lady Nyx was sad because she had loved her husband for so many years...hundreds of years...but in the last few decades he had changed and she barely knew him anymore.
She was lonely now, even with her husband's hand on her shoulder.

Erebus, dug his nails into her shoulder, looked down at her and smirked, this was truely fun if only he'd decided to do this ealier.
"Because, my filthy harlet of a wife. I've probed your mind and found everything out, this humans fate is death no matter what, I was just seeing if he was going to come clean"
He removed his hand none to nicely as he walked back over to the bars, hoping his taunt did indeed work, maybe the human would come clean now.

Lady Nyx's eyes widened as her husband dug his nails into her uncovered shoulder. She closed them tightly and reopened, trying to maintain her composure. His strength and powers had been increasing, she had shut her mind to him a long time ago but he had been able to penetrate none the less. How had it happened, she wondered...
A flash of pain in her shoulder as Erebus pulled away taking chunks of flesh with him, leaving her bleeding on her night dress.

Derryk chuckled. Without breaking eyecontact he said softly, "You must be truly pathetic to hurt a woman, Erebus." He sat back, away from the bars and against the cell wall. "Nyx must be right about you having a small one," he winked. He'd regret saying that, but hey. His whole life was one regretable occurance in and of itself so what was the point of holding back now? Erebus was sure to have his fun, and Derryk decided he might as well have his.

Erebus, smiled his rage was at a peek, but he didn't let that show.
"But, you must be scared of something; if you have to sneak around my place, really what makes you so scared of me that you have to attack my wife in her own chamber?"
All this taunting was going nowhere, soon he'd be at his wits end and just let his med team tear him apart saving the blood for later, and making chum out of the rest of him, so Erebus could feed his many servants.
