"I believe it's the eye of Horace.... but it might be Ra.... But yes, they're identical," he said to her. "The only other time I've seen that symbol is on a box that Yuugi carries. But I don't know if it is an item like ours," he said, trying to think of any other places he has seen it. He took another bite and looked over at the table diagonal from them. It was a bunch of boys who were acting rowdy. Bakura looked away from them, not wanting to draw attention. "Did you know that there's more then these two items?" he said with a smile.
Akiko snapped out of her 'anger buzz' when she heard his thanks. "Meh? Oh, no prob. You should've told them to buzz off. Don't let them bother you," she said giving a smile. She noticed he looked slightly confused- possibly, and most likely, from her actions. "Your woundering why, right? Heh, I kinda have a thing against bullies," she then smiled greatly, "and a silver tongue," she joked. She then tilted her head and looked at the box. She said playfully, "If ya wanna play me back, you can tell me what's in the box. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious."
Jounochi kicked the wall, feeling pissed off. "What was her problem?" he said. He then smiled sneekily and whispered to Honda, "Wanna see sonething?" He came in close and opened his hand up- revealing a piece of a puzzle, "It was in his box."

“Oh yeah I’ve seen that box too. My dad uncovered a lot of stuff when we were there and he told me these items were used by priests.” She said, remembering one of the last trips she took with her dad before moving to Domino. He didn’t talk to her much anymore and it was the same on her end. Naomi glanced over at the loud boys then turned back to Ryou. “Really? How many are there?” She asked curiously.
“They’re not bullying me... they’re just teaching me.” Yuugi said, looking at the ground for a minute before looking at Akiko again. He smiled when she mentioned the box and he turned around to grab it off the table. “Okay I’ll show you.” He said as he went around the table to sit across from her. He set the golden box on the table and opened it. Inside were several golden pieces of what looked like pieces of a puzzle. “My grandfather gave it to me – he said it was from Egypt.” He took out a couple of pieces, showing them to Akiko.
Honda looked at the object in Jonouchi’s hand. It looked like a piece of a puzzle but it had a strange looking eye on it. “That’s what he carries around?” Yuugi really needed to find something better to do. He smirked, “He can’t finish that puzzle now.”

"I heard there were seven, but there are other ones mentioned ontop of those. I believe my dad mention at least two other ones," Ryou said. He then smiled and said, "Your dad and my dad would get along great. When he comes back from Egypt again, we should all get together." Ryou didn't know of there fading relationship. He thought for a momment, "I don't think I've ever seen your father before."
Akiko frowned slightly as she shook her head slightly as well. "Teaching you what?" she asked him. However, he perked up about the mysterious gold box before she could comment any more. She smiled as she saw the pieces on the table. "Ooo, shiney..." she said and laughed a bit, "I should be a crow- anything shiney gets my attention!" She tapped on one piece, not wanting to violate personal space by grabbing it. "Oh, Egypt? That's really cool! That's one of my favorite ancient era. Ancient Greece comes next!" she chirpped.
Jounochi chuckled. "Yup, and now he'll never solve it!" he said as he tossed it out the window. "Him and his stupid treasure..." he muttered to hinself. "And that girl! Treating us like we're bullies or something!" he blurted out. He wandered around with Honda for a while, until he knocked into someone.
The person Jounochi bumped into was non-other then the Hall Monitor Ushio. "What were you saying about bullues?" he said to them grimmly.
Jounochi narrowed his eyes and blurted out, "Nothing! Keep out of this you..."

Naomi’s smile faded a little and she sat back. “Yeah... well there’s a reason for that.” She said. “My dad and I... we don’t really see eye to eye anymore. He’d rather spend more time working than with his own kid.” She started nibbling on the rest of the sandwich before adding, “But it’s all cool. I can do just fine by myself.” Her smile came back.
Yuugi smiled, seeing how she didn’t think it was so dumb. “It’s a puzzle. My family runs a game store so we get all kinds of weird games. My grandpa found this one in the back years ago and gave it to me.” He said, a bit happy that someone was interested in the box too. “See these hieroglyphics around the box?” He held it up a bit to show her. “I bet they say something like... ‘whoever solves this puzzle shall be granted one wish’. That would be really cool...” He stopped, noticing he was rambling a bit, and looked at Akiko. “You’re going to laugh aren’t you?”
Honda put his hand over Jonouchi’s mouth to shut him up. “It’s nothing! It’s nothing!” he stated, putting a sort of reassuring grin on. He knew Ushio was bad news and if Jonouchi said something stupid, they’d be creamed.

"Oh..." Ryou said, feeling like a jerk for bringing it up. "I'm sorry about that. But if it makes you feel better, I don't get to see my dad a lot either," Ryou said- knowing how she kind of felt. He gave her a smile, he really liked talking with her as well as being around her. The rowdy group from before was acting out even more. Suddenly, a half eaten burger patty was tossed and rolled onto Naomi's and Ryou's table. The rowdy kids were throwing food at random tables. Ryou looked squwemish[sp?] when it landed there. "That is just gross.... Come on Naomi, let's move," Ryou said, too scared to get into a confrintation.

Akiko's eyes lit up when he mentioned his family running a game shop. "Really! Is it board games or video games? Or both?" she said excitedly. She looked at the box as he pointed out the hieroglyphics. She giggled slightly but looked up at him, "I'm laughing because my pop-pop used to always tell me to make a wish on an eyelash and blow it away. It reminded me of it- that's all." She put her arms on the table and smiled, "What are you going to wish? When you solve it? It looks hard though, I lack the patients for puzzles, so maybe it just seems hard to me."
Jounochi couldn't talk with Honda's hand over his mouth.
"Picking on people is bad," Ushio said as he walked away. He had seen those two tease Yugi before, he had a great idea.

Naomi waved her hand in an ‘it’s no big deal’ manner. “Dad’s can be real jerks.” she said with a shrug. She hadn’t known that Bakura’s situation with his father had been like hers. But maybe his dad was a bit more like a dad, unlike hers. She never really saw or talked to either of her parents anymore. The only family she talked to who talked back was her little brother. When the burger patty rolled over onto their table she looked at it, half between disgusted and curious. She kind of wanted to poke it. “Yeah... I don’t want to get caught in a food fight or something.” she said, standing up and gathering her things.
“It’s mostly board games, puzzles, cards... stuff like that.” Yuugi explained. He was glad when she wasn’t laughing at him but of something else. Akiko seemed like a nice person. He smiled and shook his head. “Can’t tell you. That’s absolutely, positively secret.” He said.
Honda kept that stupid smile/grin on his face as Ushio started walking way. “Yep, that’s so true!” He said. He waited until Ushio was far away before letting go of Jonouchi. “Phew, that was close...”

Ryou did the same. However, before they could go to another seat- the bell rang. "I guess not..." Ryou said with a small smile. "Guess we have to go bak to class..." he said not completely enthusiastic about it.
"Aw... oh well then- hope it comes true though," she said. Akiko heard the bell as well. "That's it? Meh, time to go back to class. I'll talk to you later," she said as she stood up and got her bag. She walked away, only to realize she forgot to ask his name. She rushed back and asked, "What's your name, byvthe way?" She also noticed she didn't eat her sandwich. She took a few bites of her lunch.
"You jerk! I couldn't breath!" Jounochi shouted when Ushio was far away. "What gives by the way?! I'm not afraid of him! I'll get him one day!" Jounochi ranted.

Naomi sighed when the bell rang. Then shrugged. “Aw well... I’m going to sleep when I get to class. I have a feeling I won’t get much of it tonight.” She said as they started walking back to class. She noticed how Ryou didn’t seem too excited (who would be?) about going back. “Cheer up dude. Just think in a few hours, school will be over with.”
Yuugi started putting his things away, making sure he had all the puzzle pieces in the box before he closed it. He looked up when Akiko came back. “Oh I’m Yuugi.” he said smiling a little. “It was nice talking with you, Akiko.”
Honda ignored Jonouchi’s ranting. He was just being thankful Ushio was gone. That guy was seriously bad. Most of the students in the school were afraid of him and even some teachers didn’t mess with him. Honda sighed and muttered, “Life’s dull.” He turned back to the blond, “Say, what are you going to do with that puzzle piece you swiped from Yuugi?”

Ryou looked at her confussed, "Why won't you get alot of sleep tonight?" Ryou didn't mean to pick at her, he was just naturally curious. As they walked Ryou collided shoulders with some other student.
"Hey, watch it jerk!" the kid yelled at him.
"I'm sorry," Ryou said mously as he bowed his head slightly.
"You just better watch it bub!" the kid threw a threat.
Akiko bowed a bit and waved, "Ok, bye-bye!" She ran off to her class, she hated being late and have all those people stare at you. She slowed down her pace and finished her sandwich. Letting out a final "yum" sound, she entered the class room.
Jounochi looked to see a window. "I'll take this and..." Jounochi said as he throw it out the window, "do this!." The puzzle flew out the window and into the pool- sinking to the bottom. He put his hands on his waist and laughed, "Hahaha! That feels great!" His look changed to a more concentrated look. "Let's go- the bell rang," he said.

Naomi wasn’t sure if it would be smart to tell Ryou about her after school job. Jobs after school were against the rules and she could get expelled if someone told. But she did trust Ryou and he was her best friend... She was about to answer when the kid tried to start something. “Hey punk that was an accident. He didn’t mean it.” She stated, glaring at the kid.
Yuugi gathered all his things up and headed for class. He wasn’t one to be late. When he got to the classroom, he went to his seat near the back and sat down.
Honda snickered, “That’s great Jonouchi!” That would teach Yuugi to bring stuff to school. He heard the bell ring and he followed Jonouchi to class. Class was a bummer but it was something they couldn’t avoid.

The punk huffed at Naomi. Looking back at Ryou he said, "Stop having your girl friend stick up for you!" And with that he deliberatly collided his shoulder into Ryou- walking off.
Ryou blushed greatly, 'girlfriend?' he thought to himself. Though he had to admit she'd be a girlfriend... hey wait! Ryous mind was really straying off- he tried to just deny the whole thing. He rubbed his arm a bit after it was hit. "What was his problem?" Ryou said, trying to concentrate on riding the blush.
Akiko didn't see Yuugi come in, nor anybody else at the momment. She was looking at that notebook again. She was also daydreaming about lyrics and melodies.
Jounochi entered the class and took a seat at random. He put his head down, just wanting time to fly. School was so incredibly dull.

Naomi didn’t say anything as the guy walked off. “What a jerk. Don’t worry about him Ryou... he’s just trying to be someone he’s not.” She stated and shook her head. Some people nowadays. They assume just because a guy and a girl are walking together, they’re dating. “We should get to class before we’re late. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to get detention.” She said as they started walking again. When they arrived in the classroom, Naomi noticed Akiko. “Hey it’s the new chick!” she said and started over towards Akiko. “What’s up?”
((Nothing for Yuugi. He’s in class.))
Honda took a seat near Jonouchi and waited for class to begin. He glanced around, seeing Bakura and Naomi enter. He watched as they went to talk to Akiko but that lost his attention.

Ryou nodded, he didn't want detention as well. He followed Naomi to class- the blush finally disappeared and his mind settled. "Oh, hello- how's your day going?" he asked her politely.
Akiko blinked a few times when Naomi spoke to her. "Hi girl! Ha, I'm doing pretty good," she smiled as she shifted in her seat to talk with Naomi. "My day is pretty good, thanks Ryou," she replied back. "Can't wait to get outta here though, I feel like I'm about to fall asleep," she said to them. "Hey, Naomi, what's with this dress code anyway? I still can't get over the fact we have to wear these things," she said. Akiko was used to wearing jeans and casual clothing. She liked skirts, but these were short and dumb looking.

Naomi smiled and chuckled, “Yeah same here. I’m sleeping through this class, whether sensai wants me to or not.” She said this as she laid her head down on the desk. She raised her head whenever Akiko started questioning the uniforms. “They’re mandatory school uniforms. We have no choice but to wear them.” she said. “I hate them. They’re way too short – it’s like they wanted perverted boys to look up our skirts.”
She raised her head and glanced around the class. “Speaking of perverts, there’s the king of them all.” she muttered when her eyes landed on Jonouchi.

Jounochi raised an eyebrow as he heard 'skirt' and 'pervert'. He saw Naomi looking at him and he said to her, "What?" Great, what's with all these girls harassing him today? It's usually one and that's Anzu.
"Yea really, someone up in management is probably a perv," she joked. She looked over in the direction Naomi was looking. She rolled her eyes and said, "Oh great, him," she said low enough so only Naomi could hear.
Ryou sat in front of Naomi, listening to the girls conversation. He was preparing for class.
