Anywho. Here are a few more of me without mis-colored hair. I have way too many pictures of myself, it's gross.

The last picture I took at AX it was on one of the balconies in the Mariott. My friends are so pretty *envies*

Possibly my favorite pic/dress ever. I play dress up every once in awhile since I don't usually wear dresses or skirts.

I r librarian....standing on a toilet.

I had a Hmong girl in my chinese class last year. :3 Her name was Pa. whee
My knowledge of the Hmong is limited to the scope of Chinese history (my major), but they are/were an ethnic minority in sourthern China. I think they are mostly concentrated in Laos now though. :3 Please corrent me if I'm wrong. whee ;;

I used to provide this picture of the back of my head whenever people in chat rooms or whatever wanetd to see a picture of me. I'd bargain with them and insist that they provide a picture too, right? So I'd see their actually -good- picture, and then, THE BACK 'O THE HEAD STRIKES twisted

There are a lot of hmong in vietnam now, but I think there are still a ton in southern china, since they're still one of the largest ethnic groups there. *goes digging back into stuff she learned waaay back in the day* @_o

A lot of Hmong have been relocated throughout the world. Many are still in Thailand and Laos and Vietnam. There are also a lot in China. But for the most part, a lot of tradgedy has befallen the Hmong in Thailand when they closed down the refugee camps and left many homeless. The government is forcing Laos to take back the refugees, but to return means almost certain death since the Hmong are still being persecuted in Laos to this day for their part w/the Americans in the Vietname war. confused It's sad really, it's like a slow genocide.

This year, about 3000 refugees made their way into the United States and into the Central Valley (where I live).

For those that don't know who the Hmong are, they worked w/the CIA during the Vietnam war, helping American troops because they knew the land better. When America pulled out, they left a lot of unfulfilled promises and were left to fend for themselves, in a land that now hated them. (communist and anitcommunist war confused )

Even I am ignorant at times and for one of my social science classes, i did a research paper on the vietnam war and on my people's history. >____<;;
