"So you're saying...that if uncle raken hadn't come up with this...and I asked you out, you'd be willing to be my boyfriend?" And raken was worried about him dating her. Adora breathed a sigh of relief, pulling out the jelly. It wasn't like he cared for Dyas more then a friend, raken was just overreacting, she wasn't being a bad pae. She wasn't hurting her cousin. Adora tossed the jar in one hand and closed the door with a foot, catching it.

Boyfriend... such a commiting word. "Well yeah, I'd probably go on a date with you or something if we didn't think it'd complicate our friendship any." Azure took a deep breath, hoping he wouldn't get himself into to much trouble. "I mean, I've been on a date before, and they're not too bad." Azure leaned against the counter to watch Adora make the sandwhiches. "Do you need any help with those?" Azure asked her as he stood up straight.

"You know...daddy once told me..." She walked back over to him, reading the jelly lable. "That complications...fear...uncertainty...all are excuses." She opened it and set the thing on the counter. "That if you think too long...hide behind them for too far...the decision'll be made for you." The female shook her head and started to dig into the peanut butter with the knife. "But really I think that daddy was just saying that so I wouldn't hesitate in asking guys out."

"I don't think its an excuse." Azure said bluntly. "We had... have a good friendship. I don't want it to be ruined if something happens." Azure leaned back against the counter when he saw that his assitance wasn't needed. "It sounds like that would be a reason for your dad to say that, but I don't know him." Thinking about it, Azure realized he wasn't sure if he wanted to meet Tristen, father's were scary from all that Azure has seen. He didn't want the fae of love to be pushing him into anything with Adora.

She sighed and shook her head. "Just what he said, and daddy wouldnt lie to me. He's the kindest pae I know. I'm just...not as 'outgoing' as him. Don't have the type of confidence or air of certainty that he does. Guess its sorta frustrating. For everyone. How about you go get some fruit? Um,like....I think I saw some cantalope in the 'fridge..." The female smoothed the peanut butter on the bread.

"Alright... but just so you know. I think you're plenty outgoing." Azure told her honestly as he walked over to the fridge. He opened the door and his blue head disappeared into the shelves of the the frigerator. Azure grabbed some of the cantalope that Adora had mentioned and also found some watermelon slices. He set them out on the counter and watched Adora. She was doing better at all of this then he was.

She giggled. "Azure, if everyone thought like you, we wouldn't be having this convo." The female ripped off a peice of paper towel and wiped the knife clean before adding on the jelly.

"I wouldn't want everyone to think like me then." Azure turned away, slightly embarassed from what he had just said. He made it look like he was glancing around for something. "Is there a basket anywhere around here? I think we still need one..." he asked Adora, moving on to something that was easier to talk about.

The giggles subsided as she blushed, becoming almost transparent again. "Y-Yeah...check the bottom of the closet over there...daddy like picnics." she turned her head to put the toppings of the sandwitchs together, while covering the blush. Bad thing about her power though, showed the embarassement when her face didn't.

Azure nodded his head, hardly noticing Adora blushing. He walked towards the closet Adora had mentioned and rummaged through it until he found a basked. He remembered these things being so much bigger before. Azure chuckled at the thought. "I've only been on one other picnic." Azure mentioned to Adora.

"Really?" Adora put the sandwitches into little bags before going to the fridge. She pulled out a bottle of sparkling apple cider. "With who?" A little bump with her hip and the door closed.

Azure nodded his head. "A girl named Pinky Lee. Have you met her. She's nice, but kinda forgetful." Azure wouldn't forget about her, she was his first date. His eyes wandered over to Adora as her hips swiveled to close the door and then Azure's gaze quickly jumped back up to her face, an innocent look on his own.

"Mmm...nope!" She of course, didn't notice. The female walked to the counter and set the bottle down to hop up onto its surface. "Cute name though. Is she pink?" Adora grinned before pulling out two glasses.

Azure had never made the connection of Pinky Lee and pink, but it was true. "Yeah, she is" Azure remembered her pretty clearly for the most part. Azure picked up the sandwhich bags and placed them gently into the basket and grabbed some napkins to put inside of it as well. "Do we need anything else?" Azure asked eagerly.

She slipped the bottle and cups into the basket as well. "Something else...something else..." The female tapped her chin thoughtfully before her face brightened. "Well, we'll need something sweet of course!"
