Gardeford, your logic fails. If either of them were smart, they'd use Force Speed, by which point a second would then become an eternity.
Instead of using sabers, I'd just be the good Sith Lord I am, and throttle them with Choke and Force Lightening. If they try to lunge for me, I just Force Push them away, then choke and lightening. Fail-proof.
But anyway, to answer everyone's questions:
The
forked lightsaber is simply a lightsaber with an extra emiiter on it, going at a 45 degree angle from the main blade.
Lightsaber canes are a one-sided version of the lightsaber staff or double-bladed lightsaber. Thus, it is merely a double-bladed lightsaber with only one blade. Most were made of wood or anything not metal, to trick the enemy into believing the weapon was not a lightsaber.
The Lightwhip is my personal favorite. It is simply a cortosis whip attached to a lightsaber handle, with the blade being emitted around the whip. These are very effective against single-balded lightsabers.
A lightclub is merely an extra-large lightsaber, menat for extremely huge Jedi or Dark Jedi. For a normal Force-user, this would otherwise be the equivalant of a lightsaber-spear axe.
Lightdaggers, also known as short lightsabers and shotos, have many uses. Some serve as the primary weapon for extremely small Jedi, like Masters Yoda and Yaddle. Most other times, Shotos serve in traditional Jar'kai combat, serving as the small, easier to use of the two lightsabers. They also make good back-up weapons, since they are easier to conceal than normal lightsabers.
There is also the light tonfa, or tonfa lightsaber, introduced in Force Unleashed. It's simply a lightsaber with blades that mimic a police's tonfa stick.
