Kal glanced eastward before replying. "There's lots of forest, some meadows, a few rivers... A-and a two legger village." The little stallion knew the area around that village very well, even if he had never been inside it. He wasn't tame despite sleeping so close to the village, and the smell of the fires and two leggers made him nervous even as the light reassured him.
He shook his short mane an sighed before glancing back over at Myde. "D-do you dry out? Maybe you could follow the rivers, or at least the bigger ones."

"A two legger village? That sounds rather interesting." Myde himself hadn't seen too many two-leggers. Occasionally one came to the lake to get some water, but the dark fish simply hid until they left.
"I do dry out, which is quite uncomfortable and just plain dangerous to my health. Maybe someday I'll follow the rivers, but I have a feeling something will always draw me back here." It was home, afterall.

"The two legger village isn't very interesting, it smells funny, and there are lots of two leggers and tame soquili there. But there are always fires and light there. Maybe, if I'm around next time it rains really hard, I could take you there and show you."
Kal pawed at the ground with one hoof, it would mean he would be wandering around in the dark rain, but he would be with someone else. Rain on it's own usually didn't bother the little alicorn.
